The real issue is that Bioware no longer CARE about sales to people who are into ME for the story.  They care about the giant dudebro market.  This means nothing to them.

They even said "ME3 is a great place to get into Mass Effect!"

Why would anyone cancel pre-order? If it sucks, I'll be one of the first to witness that, also with full rights to complain.
But then again, it all seems like EA is making all this hype so that people will get interested, if they aren't already, browse the net, forums, maybe order the game, and that boosts their profits.

Yeah, there has been afew. Youtube is full of videos too, including an eight minute long Destroy ending.

Wait and they say there is a happy ending (for me) that the LI will be safe on earth and shep will be alive? Please tell me this is true!:O:O:O:O:O:wub::wub::O:O

Sorry, everything I've seen confirms the known endings. The lack of dialog options even with "full dissisions" on is disturbing.

All i want to know if is there is a possibilty of my LI being on earth and safe with be being alive.

It looks like they pretty deliberately manufactured the outcomes so the only way that can happen is if you break off the relationship first.

They basically tailored the game to make it impossible to arrange for a happy ending, unless you view "LI dies, then Shepard dies" as acceptable.

I have no idea why they would do that though. Why would they make it impossible for you and your LI to be together, it just doesn't make sense at all to me.

This is bad variant to destroy ending, because Earth got scorched. There is a variant where it is not. Also I saw a video where Anderson shot that thing not Shepard.

The squadmates teleporting to the normandy is just so big of a plothole it has to be a bug. Still, better not get any hopes up.

This is utter BS from bioware. Stringing us along through multiple games just to be screwed at the end. God that pisses me off.

How does lots of people finding out that they'll hate how it ends boost their profits? To hell with them, I've cancelled. Admittedly only after having only just put the pre-order in for the standard edition so it's not as if I'll lose out if it turns out not to be so depressingly bleak.

Dialogue wise - have they reduced the number of options in conversations? (the usual 3 choices and investigate...)

That's a perfectly valid point. I've raised the point many times myself, so I wouldn't say Blue's trolling. Even people who weren't sure/disliked the ending in the spoiler group are finding it more acceptable now that they've actually viewed it. Granted, it's the worst ending possible, I believe.

No, really!  I mean, think about it.  Xoisite liked the game.  The other guy who started a review thread gave the game a 9.  A couple of people with the "3" under their registered names have calmly posted about how people are mistaken and jumping to conclusions on a number of things.

Isn't that strange?  Why aren't they freaking out and making assumptions like the rest of us?

There seems to be a decent amount of auto-dialogue in the game. Will see in a few days though

Or that the game itself is probably still  pretty damned good, and a potentially disappointing ending doesn't suddenly make it the greatest tragedy in the Universe.

Probably because its better in person? I'm assuming video games and books are similar in the sense that if you skip the ending nothing will make sense and the whole book would seem crappy.

I kinda agree with whats being said here but the amount of rage and anger going on about a game they've only seen other people play is pretty rediculous if you ask me.
