The "bad" ending looks to be the only one in which we don't get the "Normandy marooned, forever alone" crap slopped on top of everything else.Rob_K1 wrote...

That's a perfectly valid point. I've raised the point many times myself, so I wouldn't say he's trolling. Even people who weren't sure/disliked the ending in the spoiler group are finding it more acceptable now that they've actually viewed it. Granted, it's the worst ending possible, I believe.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

No, really! I mean, think about it. Xoisite liked the game. The other guy who started a review thread gave the game a 9. A couple of people with the "3" under their registered names have calmly posted about how people are mistaken and jumping to conclusions on a number of things.
Isn't that strange? Why aren't they freaking out and making assumptions like the rest of us?
What are we mistaken about?

Dialogue wise - have they reduced the number of options in conversations? (the usual 3 choices and investigate...)
As far as I've seen: Mostly normal paragon/renegade on the right side.
Sometimes with investigate(only middle-option) and only at major plot-points with with investigate+(pargon/renegade).

Probably because its better in person? I'm assuming video games and books are similar in the sense that if you skip the ending nothing will make sense and the whole book would seem crappy.
I kinda agree with whats being said here but the amount of rage and anger going on about a game they've only seen other people play is pretty rediculous if you ask me.
TL;DR play game then rage
My sentiments exactly.
I think raging even after playing a game is a bit... but at least it's more understandable. People have to understand that things get misinterpreted too. I did that myself earlier with a bit of info.

Yeah, from what I've seen you mostly get two dialog options and investigate seems to come up less.

Why would anyone cancel pre-order? If it sucks, I'll be one of the first to witness that, also with full rights to complain.
But then again, it all seems like EA is making all this hype so that people will get interested, if they aren't already, browse the net, forums, maybe order the game, and that boosts their profits.
And if it doesn't cash out now, it will the moment it turns out these endings that have been circiling around are not the only ones, and there is actually something you can to do get the so called ''happy ending''...How about buying a DLC? Bam! Here comes the profit.

True, but a bad ending can ruin a great game (why bother having a plot at all otherwise instead of just a bunch of random missions?). It's not just about the journey after all. Just about everything I've read in this thread tells me I would playing towards a goal that I don't want to reach. However great the game is there will be that big looming black cloud on the horizon all the way through it, and through every ME and ME2 replay. All that time and I won't have achieved anything worth having - being a game and not reality the things worth having are those that you have direct contact with, people and places. The rest of the galaxy is simply a few lines of text - there's a big difference from reality, where you really would be saving lives.Efesell wrote...

Or that the game itself is probably still pretty damned good, and a potentially disappointing ending doesn't suddenly make it the greatest tragedy in the Universe.

I've mentioned so far, that the leaked endings annoy me. I judge the game after I've heard what players say about it beginning from march 6th.
I'm throwing in a bit of sarcasm from time to time, I admit that.
But isn't it childish to write something like that in caps?

I'm gonna kiss Tali's pig face right on the snout and then push her off the cliff. She's gonna fall all the way down never accepting it.
And then I'm going to swoop down with the shuttle and catch her. And then drop her from higher.
If Bioware doesn't let me do this I'm never buying one of their games again.

You've either missed things said, are misunderstanding posts or are only hearing what you want to hear. Or just refuse to listen and only want to accept what you believe to be true.
It has been said quite a few times now that people can have an ending where the two squad mates you take with you can end up on Earth. I cannot verify it myself, but that is what others have said.

It's what others have said they hope happens, because as of right now, they appear to be teleported back to the Normandy in a plot hole so big people are assuming it's a bug which will be corrected in the day one patch - and that if it is such a bug, and it is corrected, the alternative is that they will end up on Earth instead.Rob_K1 wrote...

Only person I've seen say they enjoyed it was Xio and the some of the streamers. Though I don't give a crap what the streamers think because ME3 is their first ME game. I can complain all I want about what we've seen, I'm still getting the game if only to finish it. If you have such a problem with people complaining about the direction the game has taken, they why are you in this thread?
