Seriously its NOT HARD to to please the fans. That ending and epilogue alone would have pleased 90% of people on this thread.

Would be fine with me as well if this was the ending, I don't even mind it being generic and cheesy, I want a happy ending Q,Q

I would love to have this option to choose if I wanted it! Or any other good options suggested in this thread. Except having no option at all.

And Shepard is actually the good guy in that revised ending.

In the original, he's obviously a villianous nut who needs to get shot.

I can happily live with that.

Agreed, that would be the only ending I'd go for through all my playthroughs, if it was there (I can't stand unhappy endings)... And even the people that want a "Bittersweet" ending have many shades of cack to choose from  at least then everyone is more or less happy with the end of a trilogy... As it stands I'll likely only play to the end once .

I think it would have been cooler to create an Arc ending where instead of destroying the Reapers and their technology Shepard is able to take a ship, with enough of each species to sustain a population, to a planetary system the Reapers won't be able to find/access, thus giving civilization 50k years to prepare for the next coming of the Reapers.

Then ME 4,5,6 could be 50K years into the future where civilization has been preparing themselves to defeat the Reapers.

I'm finding all of this a little hard to belive. That ALL the ending are more or less bad, that our choices didn't ammount to anything impactful, and that they more or less kill the franchise buy setting a sci fi franchise back to the stoneage. A franchise they've confiremed they have plans for. Bioware, they aren't stupid... They've made alot of great games, 4 of there games are in my 10 fav of all time. (Both MEs, TOR, and KOTOR...)

There has to be more to this. I'll be dumbfounded if all i've read so far is true.
