I wish there was a review done by a fan of the games. Every time i see a review they go "i wasn't that into the last 2 games, but the 3rd one is great!"
That doesn't make me feel good.
ME3 wasn't made for the old fanbase, they want CoDs fanbase remember?
Arghhhh I will never forget this....

EA: The pattern has repeated itself more times than you can fathom. Game companies rise, evolve, advance, and at the apex of their glory, they are extinguished. Bioware is not the first. By utilizing our funding, game companies develop along the paths we desire. They exist because we allow it, and will end because we demand it.
HA! This reminds me--if the Reapers are really just there to prevent a technological singularity and protect organic life from its own stupidity...WHY do they insist on smack talk? Why have they been portrayed as sadists all this time? "THIS HURTS YOU," "I WILL TEAR YOU APART," etc. What the hell is that, if this is just machines carrying out their duty? Are they programmed to try to hurt Shepard's feelings in the process?
Kinda makes it feel even more tacked on, plotwise.
Yeah, from what Sovereign says you're kinda led to believe they just see us as an inferior species to be destroyed just because.
Then it suddenly turns out they're kinda like, the galaxies keepers. Maintaining some weird balance with a culling every several thousands of years.
You can tell Bioware had no real plan for them from ME1 to ME3.

There is a lot of auto-dialogue. Some times, you don't even get to choose a dialogue option. Other times you may just get two dialogue options: Paragon or Renegade. No neutral nor investigate.hudakj wrote...
What's this about the autodialogue? I'd hate to think that this goes from RPG-like dialogue choices to straight line Metal Gear Solid 2-like non-interactive cutscenes.

Which is stupid because this would happen on its own anyways. The Milky Way is going to crash into Andromeda in 3 billion years and everything in it will go back to spacedust.MelfinaofOutlawStar wrote...

NOTE: Some ME2 saves will not be able to import the face-file of your Shepherd. You will need to re-create the appearance when importing the file.
Are you ****ing kidding me?

I remember when my friend got banned from these forums a couple years ago when the EA aquisition happened, becuase he posted the EA was "evil" and that they were going to ruin Bioware. Mr Priestly promptly banned him.

Actually, that's not right. The "collision" of the two galaxies will not render everything to dust. In fact, hardly anything adverse will happen at all in regards to the stars and the planets within the two galaxies.

Made stuff up as they went.
Never rolled with the dark energy thing either which is disappointing. That sounded more like a threat to me on a galactic scale. Sounds like that needed to be investigated more.

Maybe that's their plan for the Mass Effect MMO they're coyly discussing but not discussing with the press.

yup auto-dialoge is true, shepard just won't shut his/hers mouth, no matter what game style you play Role/playing, Action, Story
p.s. and little chooices you have to say are: paragon, renegade, sometimes one other in the place where investigate button once were, ohhhh and no neutral choice:blush:

If you mean, deliberately make them unhappy, I seriously doubt that. C'mon. No one does that, especially not in the games industry. Even if it were true, it'd be very hard to get a...how many did Casey Hudson say were working on ME3? 150 people? A 150 person team to all agree to deliberately make fans unhappy.
If you mean "switch target markets and abandon RPG fans," then sure. That probably was a conscious decision. Given all the press last year about how BioWare was "reaching out to new audiences" and so on, I'm not surprised. Game companies do sometimes throw existing fans under the bus if they think they can reach a more lucrative market.

I'd be so pissed that Shepard only dropped an Avenger.
Got, like, 3 of those. I never get any good drops.
