So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I guess we know what Sovereign meant by 'there is a realm of existence, beyond anything you can comprehend"
He meant that there is some Granddad telling all this cr@p to the little boy.

I heard Shepard can turn into a reaper in one of the endings. That would be awesome.
Lol wtf?? He could be the new harbinger if you ask me.
But after reading through all these forums, I found that a lot of people compare the ending to Deux Ex and Fallout 3? I've played Fallout 3 and if I remeber didnt you have to chose between sacrificing yourself or if you wanted to survive and recieve a less 'bittersweet' ending you can get someone else to do it, than if its like that its not that bad.
And I havent played Duex Ex so i'm assuming the ending is similar as well altho someone probably has to give me a run down (dont mind the spoiler).
But overall the way the ending seems to be going for ME3, im now not as excited for it anymore.

So you don't know about the endings too well?
You have borrowed time. When you get to the end, you will recieve severe dissapointment everyone will have.

Actually, that's not right. The "collision" of the two galaxies will not render everything to dust. In fact, hardly anything adverse will happen at all in regards to the stars and the planets within the two galaxies.
You can read more here.
I guess it just seems pointless to try preserving one galaxy out of billions that probably all contain life in one form or another. Did the Milky Way really need big reaperized caretakers?

If you mean, deliberately make them unhappy, I seriously doubt that. C'mon. No one does that, especially not in the games industry. Even if it were true, it'd be very hard to get a...how many did Casey Hudson say were working on ME3? 150 people? A 150 person team to all agree to deliberately make fans unhappy.
If you mean "switch target markets and abandon RPG fans," then sure. That probably was a conscious decision. Given all the press last year about how BioWare was "reaching out to new audiences" and so on, I'm not surprised. Game companies do sometimes throw existing fans under the bus if they think they can reach a more lucrative market.
Very very sad indeed. Way to make a fan feel "abandoned"

There is a lot of auto-dialogue. Some times, you don't even get to choose a dialogue option. Other times you may just get two dialogue options: Paragon or Renegade. No neutral nor investigate.hudakj wrote...
What's this about the autodialogue? I'd hate to think that this goes from RPG-like dialogue choices to straight line Metal Gear Solid 2-like non-interactive cutscenes.
Yeesh, Dragon Age 2's dialogue mechanics will actually look inspired compared to this. A botched ending is one thing, but this sort of laziness masquerading as "streamlining" could well brand this game as a rushjob. Hopefully, there are enough other details in the game to partially make up for it.
Looks like I'll be required to dig into the codex entries (I wonder if they bothered to voice them this time around)

And no Shep can't become a Reaper if he chooses to control them he dies, IF he choses to merge Reaper and Organic life he dies.
If he destroys it he can live, but everyone on the Normandy is lost on an unknown planet and all the Mass relays explode (no matter what you chose they explode), The people on the Nomandy are lost because Joker for some unknown reason decides to try and head through the nearest Mass Relay and Leave Shepard on Earth.
Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this

Well with the way this game is going BW seems to have tried to do a 180 on what this game was about and what it was. They seem to have turned it into something completly different than what ME1 and 2 were.
It's like hey lets make this the most F*cked up thing ever. We we attepting to make interactive story telling history with the series, and do something that had not been done before.
Lets switch up on the last installment and make ME into Halo/Call of Duty/ meets the Princess Bride.
We are going to f*ck our fans over so good this will be great.
I don't see how it could have been looked at any other way by the team that started this series and worked on ME1 or ME2, it's like they all lost their f*cking minds.

I've wasted all that time worrying and making every little adjusent just so they can kill Miranda and liara and company. I don't want to live on this planet anymore!!!!
Rumor is Miranda might be all right somewhere in the galaxy since she's not a permanent squaddie. Liara though...either dead or on the breeding colony. (unless final teleportation really is a glitch)

I think that could be a very powerful, heartbreaking moment, actually. She commits suicide if you side with the Geth and peace is impossible. I think.
It could be great (although sad).

I understand experimenting and all.... BUT you just DON'T do it on the last game of the series!!!!!!!!!!! Its just a really really stupid move! It just cr*ps on all the work they did on making ME the one we all know and love... seriously aggravating and depressing.. I still can't get past this at all..
