For those wondering about Geth vs. Quarians, you can achieve peace. Here's how:

You will need to get 5 to 7 points. 4 and down means no peace.

-Destroyed Heretics (+2 points)
-Rewrote Heretics (0 points)
-Tali is NOT exiled (+2 points)
-Tali is exiled/Did not do LM (0 points)
-Legion/Tali conflict resolved with Paragon/Renegade path (+1 point)
-N7 Mission: Save the Admiral in ME3 (+1)

-Complete Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace)

The peace talk also requires you to have a high reputation. Although it is easier to achieve peace by destroying the heretics, you will gain more war assets if you achieve peace by rewriting the heretics (there'll be less quarians, though). If you rewrote the geth, you will face more geth. If you destroyed the geth, then you will face less geth.

They've made the whole thing as convoluted as possible, haven't they?

Depends what you mean by "**** the fans over."

If you mean, deliberately make them unhappy, I seriously doubt that.  C'mon.  No one does that, especially not in the games industry.  Even if it were true, it'd be very hard to get a...how many did Casey Hudson say were working on ME3?  150 people?  A 150 person team to all agree to deliberately make fans unhappy.

If you mean "switch target markets and abandon RPG fans," then sure.  That probably was a conscious decision.  Given all the press last year about how BioWare was "reaching out to new audiences" and so on, I'm not surprised.  Game companies do sometimes throw existing fans under the bus if they think they can reach a more lucrative market.

If Bioware doesn't give a damn about the customers who made them successful, why should any of us give a damn about them? 

The world is full of games for that other market, and has very few games for those of use who don't say dudebro and call each other juvenile names over xBox voice or Teamspeak...

The Krogans vs. Salarians is even more convoluted. 

To save Mordin: Convince him to fake the cure. Wrex will die. Eve must die. You gain Salarian support. To gain Krogan support, tell the new leader that the genophage is cured. You have gained both Salarian and Krogan support.

To save Wrex: Help Mordin cure the Genophage (he WANTS this). Wrex lives, Mordin dies. You have Krogan support, but Salarians are pissed. To gain Salarian support, save the Salarian councilor in the Udina Coup.

Either way, one must die.

Exactly.  We don't matter to EA. 

The game was made for people into "awesome cool gameplay" and doing "combat rolls".

Well to be fair I enjoy the gameplay, only reason I'm still getting it. My last Bioware "RPG" for sure though.

I just can't believe that almost everything seems like an improvement in ME 3 except the tons of autodialogue and these endings.

some of the streamers say that the in game cutscenes change depending on your ems leaving some hopes

To be fair, before she died, she did say "nobody is perfect." And that death scene isn't what's heart-wrenching. For me it was seeing her all beat-up and bruised. I suppose it would've been more emotional if she's Shep's LI.
