Yeah, I have to ask what the point of DLC is if it doesn't change the outcome.

TECCCCHHHINCALLLLY... A "Happy Endings" DLC isn't "post-game". It's an ending, so would it not be considered as an "in-game" DLC?

Actually I thought the "true" ending of Mass Effect 2 was "The Arrival" DLC. That's what helped me rationalize the purchase...Elegana wrote...

No seriously. That's what most DLCs do. Map packs, weapon packs, alternate outfit packs... all to enhance your gaming experience. Tired of your squadmates looking like crap? Enhance your game with this new alternate outfit pack!

Bethesda did it with Fallout 3. Except the DLC was considered "post-game" because instead of dying, you wake up weeks later with a new quest.Kileyan wrote...

Well I purposely avoided that possible DLC. I just can't imagine Bioware backtracking on their story like that. They may make fans happy doing such a DLC, but the gaming press would tear them apart for the tactic of holding their fans hostage and character 10 or 15 bucks for a better ending.
This is the ending, was just curious what possible DLC or ME4 could do that would me interesting as prequels, considering how futile it all is.

So their is going to be hard choices, well of course. We'll choose, we'll cry. It will be painful but glorious. Perhaps Shepard will die in a blaze of glory (epic) perhaps Joker will die in a heroic space battle (if it's death or him ending up with EDI...well...sorry Jeff). Sacrifices will be made, I will whine but I get it.
Joker dies in a heroic space battle.
Nope.avi

In a shameful honesty, when I first saw "TIM", I thought it was a character named Tim.BaronIveagh wrote...

Well, the paddle fish is supposed a key to a secret intel and people are hoping that after you beat the game twice, it'll give you the secret ending.Johnnycide wrote...

My mistake Conrad little more useful than Paddlefish. I sincerely apologize to all Conrad fans out there.

LotSB was a great DLC (except that rock falling on the second squadmate (ur LI?) while Shep dives for Liara part...oversight in the writing there). And The Arrival wasn't a bad transition towards ME3. Appearance/weapon packs tend to be promotional freebies for different bundles or stores. Hopefully, there will be at least one well-written DLC that really contributes to the story. A better ending? They should.
I think it would be a bug, allegedly the Normandy leaves you before the final fight. So how they got there can only be explained by Space Magic.wicked_being wrote...
Is the 'squadmate magically teleporting to the Normandy bug' confirmed as a bug? Or are we just assuming things?
