There won't be an apology, but someone's probably going to say something after Wednesday. Especially if a reviewer says something about it combined with fan reaction.

The explosion will take a little while to build, if there is one. People will have to have time to finish the game, get the bad ending, say to themselves 'okay, imma look up how to get the good ending', discover there is no good ending, THEN go into a betrayed rage. I don't expect to see much for at least a week.

I had to leave, since people couldn't take three hours of proof as proof. The boards will be interesting on Tuesday. If anyone here still has a pre-order, seriously wait until this is twenty bucks, if it's even worth that any longer.

Heh I had to leave too, they seemed to want to think it was all ok. The character threads are so depressing its sad. They're gonna be crushed no little blue kids, no Tali Weddings, nothing but the grandpa Princess Bride ending.

And the people at BW have lost their minds in my opinion, because they have done a 180 on what this game had intended to do.

I'm still baffled why the writing had to take the turn it did. They still got the gameplay and MP that casual gamers and action game fans would love.

Also, didn't the reaction from Bioware regarding the fans' hate of the DA2 story and ending go pretty much like: "We're disappointed in our fans for not appreciating our awesome writing"

But... but it's art!

Mabye but no vehicle, way more auto dialoge and some things...they could of taken some extra for many other reasons.

And do you really believe that if they had more time they would expand these things?
I don't. Why? Because it's exactly what they wanted. Make game more casual, bring other audience and cutting out these things is their way to achieve that.
They already have estabilished fanbase which is eager to buy the end of the trilogy no matter what. They are greedy and want more.
Will it bring them profit? We are yet to see.

I was just being hopeful of what It could been, please don't shredd the last bit of happieness I have left.

Anyone considering being done with BW after this?

Nah, I'm past considering, after the DA2 fiasco I knew I was just going to try to end the Mass Effect series. Which is unfortunate because I liked the Dragon Age setting.

Do you people think Casey Hudson will be making an official apology after the release any time soon?

This is the guy who claimed everyone liked planet scanning in ME2, that the new book Deception was a fun way to span the gap between ME2 and ME3, and most recently claimed that ME3 was designed with fans' ideas and desires in mind.

Casey Hudson is the greatest troll ever hired by Bioware. Why would he apologize?

Better not call him names. You'll get BANNU'd

I know I am. And it breaks my heart. I have loved their games ever since Baldur's Gate came out.

... to hell with this, after the ME3 fiasco, I'll play BG again. It will be a wonderful cure.

lol can i get an article with a quote on that?

I'm exagerrating for effect, obviously, but most of the articles I read (like this one: http://www.computera...-us-off-guard/  ) had quotes like this:

"Dragon Age 2 was incredibly polarising and it caught us off-guard,
honestly. It appealed to a new fanbase and we were delighted by that,
but we've heard fans who wanted more of the Origins experience. We have
to take all that feedback and find a way to marry those together, so we
can bring everyone on the journey with us."

I don't really need to do a reality-based translation of that PR nonsense, do I?

I repeat - NO! Sheppard deserves to live with his friends, his crew, and his L1. He's already suffered enough. Killed once, his crew taken from him, his friends turned their backs on him, the council treating him as a virtual traitor, everything he did treated as madness by the Alliance and by the Council, forced into killing 300,000 plus, his second crew taken from him, jailed, his ship taken AGAIN - Heck if anyone deserves a friggen break its Sheppard. HE brought the galaxy together to fight this threat and its just about time those guys (rest of Galaxy) pulled their own damn weight!

Well to be fair the writing staff changed numerous times and with that many people with different ideas on direction coming and going it was bound for them to be lost.

They'll only do that once the CoD crowd abandons them.

I doubt they had the CoD crowd in the first place.

There's already so many places you can go to find a mindless FPS. Why did BW have to stoop to their level?

Most streamers, people I played the demo with and people I know IRL are of that variety. They did alot of marketing in order to get new fans.
