Well the bitter part is there, the sweet seems like the lemon flavoured candy brand of sweet. Which is to say still pretty damn sour.

no because his NDA only restricted him to photos and Videos not being posed . it did not say one thing about discussing it

The NDA on the contest splash specifically states that nothing is to be discussed, taped, or screen captured aside from that fact that they have it.  On a side note why every few pages do you feel the need to reiterate your POV that the leak is true? We get it.

Apparently there is a happy ending with Normandy good, Relays intact, Shepard alive, and Reapers dead. Just got brought up in http://social.biowar...7303/12#9524961

The source of that ending is from the Prima Strategy guide.

Actually, I'd like to see the post where Novem says that because he outright said the guide doesn't give details of each ending.  It sounds like someone is paraphrasing him.

Which one is bitter sweet? They all seem to different brands of depressing thanks to the totally unecessary inclusion of the SR2 being fired off into deep space for no reason.

I'm sure that counts as " depressing thanks to the totally unecessary inclusion of the SR2 being fired off into deep space for no reason".

Maybe there are reasons, maybe the Space Edition guy is wrong, or an idiot, or deceitful about pulling the information. There's just too many maybes surrounding all of this no matter what "3 authentic people" say to just take it all at face value, I'm sure there is an ending that the guy playing didn't get where the Normandy is safe and all that jazz, I'll believe all these darker and frankly refreshingly different ending happen. Just everyone, calm down sit back and enjoy. It's not like this is the end of the world.

Really, if they wanted to have a default flashback it should have been Wrex. Imagine if you will, Shepard lays dying on the ground those important to him flashing before his eyes. And then. Then. you see it. You see his face, and he speaks.

Shepard

And Shepard lets out one last word, barely a whisper

Wrex

And then Shepard dies, and the credits roll.

I.  Would.  Cry.

Sweet can also be sour. So it's just a sour sweet that is bitter.

Mhm. In a weird way I'm sort of glad I spoiled myself this way, should the rumors prove true. It'll make the blow much less gut wrenching when it happens.
That said, I'm NOT looking forward to seeing how this forum is going to turn out a few days after the game drops. The DA2 debacle is going to look like a preschool brawl by comparison.

I still think that the game will be amazing (with the destroy ending), providing the execution is as good as purported.

...I'll just pretend all that Normandy inbreeding doesn't happen. They all died of spontaneous combustion.

He started discussing the endings when the SA guy revealed them all on his forum, spurned by comments originating from this forum about what the endings were.

[Again, not completely saying this isn't an elaborate troll- but evidence is mounting to it being true.]

I'm still trying to figure this out while I look at the old leak script that did not have the Normandy go to lalala land. Did Mac do this on purpose? Did EA tell Bioware to ****** off teh fans as much as they could?

Well, if our sources are trolling us, it will be a welcome and pleasant surprise to me.

For the time being, I'm going to convince myself to make do with the worst news, first.

And yes, the Normandy is safe in some endings...just busted up with nowhere to go on an unknown planet.

That's actually kind of appropriate. Just put Starbuck (from BSG) in there as Shepard and you’ve got your ending.

So I picture Shepard standing on the uncharted world with Liara and saying "I've completed my journey, it feels . . . good. What about you? Today is the first day of the rest of your life Liara . . ."

Even that's a better ending sadly.

I'm feeling much the same way. Hopefully the endings, if they are true, are handled as well as people are claiming they are. Otherwise the latent rage that's been building ever since ME2 was released with DA2 hot on it's heels is going to boil over in the worst way possible.

I will be angry if all is true because A. I spent my own money on all three game plus accessories the last six years B. I like a dark game but didn't want to feel depressed because I am already living a terrible thing call life.C. It's going to be the last video game I might every play for a long time:crying:

From what I gathered:

Pg 4: "The Perfect Ending is just that, "perfect". The ending below it also makes the galaxy "lollipops and sunshine"; kinda-sort"

So yeah, sounds like someone just made an assumption about it. I knew it was the Prima guy because Xio and Tank say there's no happy ending, but Novem (Prima Guy) says there's "7 endings", a "Perfect Ending" and an ending that makes the galaxy "lollipops and sunshine"

I'm imagining a The Mist style ending for the Normandy. Garrus has just enough left on his heat sink to kill Tali, Joker, Traynor, Cortez, Vega, Ashley, and the Prothean, but not one for himself. He does it, unleash an inturian howl, walks outside the Normandy, and the fifth fleet shows up.

Yeah...

This is why NDAs exist. Any info that the makers aren't prepared for can negatively affect the product's sales. Someone is going to get in trouble.
