Someone pointed out the Renegade choice upon consoling Anderson about the kid was pretty much "Deal with it, people die."

So either Renegade Shepard shouldn't have a kid haunting his dreams or he lied to Anderson and cries bro tears when no one is around.

So BW wanted to put a kid in just to invoke emotional trama to Shepard... regardless of what he is or what he did during the games?
...
Now I remember why I don't like seeing kids in most games/movies. They tend to screw the story up in someway

Bioware: "Secretly your Shepard wept bitterly over the child he had only observed for 20 seconds but had come to know and love. Shepard called him Blake."

Jesus! My Shepard is forced into dream of some random Brat? WTF? I've came up with a sh!t ton of stuff my Shepard would be kept awake at night and none of them are that stupid child in the demo.

My Shepard's history is Colonist. Parents died on Mindior raid. Sole Survivor of Akuze, (other than Toombs who is alive yet), and all the sh!t he's seen in ME1 and 2 and this is what keeps me up at night?
NO I SAY NO! My Shepard ME has been dealing with physiological torments for A LONG TIME What keeps ME (Shepard) up at night if anything is the fact that I want to know where I stand with Samara, I want to air our feeling out before the big Reaper fights.
Kaidan having died on Virmire.
That Colonist lady getting liquified in the collector base (I save my whole crew).
The fact I was helpless to save however many Batarians died in the Arrival DLC.

Not some twerp kid, What is my Shepard being turned into Micheal Jackson? My Shepard is become a pedophile. Damn! Sh!T and That's Whacked!

It is strange to think out of all the things our Shepard has been through it's a child they've seen for less than a few moments that breaks them.

Hell, I'd think if you are faced with Tali commiting suicide that has to trump it.

Yes I can agree with ya there. Tali is not my favorite character but to see her comit suicide that would certainly trump that stupid kid I gave that kid the choice to come with me but he told me "You can't help me" So he therefore is responsible for his own death. NOT me. My Shepard may have been responsible if the kid died on the way to the Normandy with MY Shepard but that kid ran away.

My girlfriend  already calls him Pedo-Shepard for the demo alone... sigh. <_<

People keep saying the Virmire choice was a hard one.

Was it? Really?

The first time? No sweat. After that ...not so much

However Ashley was a fine damn marine and I loved it when she recited Tennyson, but she was so damn xenophobic...fine xenocautious it put me off a little.

Kaidan had some depth to him not as much as Ashley but he was...useful.

My mostly paragon Shep had Kaidan stay with the bomb and tells herself she chose the mission not Kaidan, I KNOW DRAMA! So she regrets leaving Ashely and begins to see her in nightmares about Mindoir.

Man I should be a writer for Bioware...

You know, the more I think about it, the angrier and more anxious become.

With my canon Shep, he saw his parents killed by Batarian slavers at 16, only for his little sister to die aboard their vessel before being rescued. But he held his sh*t together when he became the hero of the Skylian Blitz. And then he became a Spectre, lost a friend on Virmire, made a bunch of hard choices, but stayed strong. Fell in love with an Asari scientist, came back from the dead after saving the galaxy, and is personally responsible for the deaths (either in self defense, making command choices or accidentally in Arrival) of, what, say a million lives? And then, THEN he keeps going, having overthrown the Shadow Broker, stopped a crazy VI interface experiment, and all this, and then he WILL save the Earth, but... what? No silver lining? The person he loves, and the people he cares about are stranded Walters-knows-where? Why?

Why is it that this game, which is DESIGNED to be based on OUR CHOICE, my character, who has gone through hell and back, then eff it, WENT BACK AGAIN, can't at least end up with his love? Forced drama?

And look, I know people keep saying "Wait till it's out," but I'll point out this; Everytime there has been an issue like this, it has ALWAYS proven true when Bioware didn't step in to explain. PS3 for ME2. Multiplayer. Was it Feb 1st, last year, for the DA2 inserts? At this point, Bioware has lost my trust, and is damned close to losing my respect. This from a guy who has a Mass Effect 2 wallet, and fist bumps everyone when they buy ME1 or 2. Seriously, I don't need this grimdark crap from my favorite (once favorite?) IP. It is beyond me why they thought THIS was a good idea.

Its things like this that bring me to 2 conclusions

1) bioware threw us under the bus for the easy meal ticket that is CoD fans

2) they're finding creative as hell ways to leake false information so we think the endings suck so they're safer about the actual stuff (with EA's funding I'll bet it could work)

Kids are fine when all they do is run around and ask you to play tag. Heh, little scamps in Skyrim.

Brings me back to the show "Blake 7"... Oddly enough, the entire cast was killed off in the last episode. Sounds familiar...

Another user has enjoyed the game and ending, calling it the best of the three (game wise and story that is, I think):

I was thinking as long as we're ripping off the sci-fi titles, I got a great ending. It would consist of Shepard stumbling down a flight of steps, coated in blood, armor dented, raising her hand mimicking a gun, saying "Bang" and collapsing on the steps as her comrades rush to her.

It works.

I've already got my own Shepards Pre ME1 story witten, and it's gold compaired to the stuff in ME3.
Not to mention my own little conversastion with Anderson for ME3 about why he is no longer Councilor Anderson from several pages back.
These boards are going ignight in Spontaneous Combustion by weeks end. Between the No Dialogue in the game. and everything else yeah.

Did I mention that the videos you've been seeing with only 2 diologue choices are the standard ME experince mode RPG mode? That Story mode is the same thing only with easy as pie combat difficulty?

So you do see Tali's face and hands. Does not change the fact the ending ruin the game alone, with any of the other stuff.

In ME2 there were many times when there were only two dialogue choices, such as the first couple hours. Really not that big a deal since there were a ton of conversations with more than two.

I had a...slightly different idea as to how that might play out, just in keeping with the current Bioware trend:

Did you check he's not a Bioware employee ? After what happened with DA2 on metacritic you can't be too sure of these things.

Bioware is turning OUR Shepards into pedophiles.
To the fanfic board I will go to write my own ending for my Shepards! It's gotta be done this is no way to end it

Give it a rest, Bob.

I get it, you think any positive review is bought off or is made by BioWare employees. But you don't need to harp on about it.
