Nah, that's not the type of wording you use to appease people. If anything he just doesn't have a whole lot of insider knowledge about the story portion of things. Probably more involved with the coding and such.

that said he does not design EVERYTHING....for instance the music designs are definitely not his area hence why in the past when I asked him about it he specified "I have no clue, that's not what I do"

I am willing to believe  You got alot of people who have been upset for weeks, and now they have been giving a little sliver of hope and I understand why folks will be cynical just because there have been alot of let downs with things being said and/or found out.  Don't take offense to it, your in the lovely position of being the middle man...which is a sucky place to be. BUT I am going to thank you for letting this forum know Thank you VERY much

ME:I've seen all the datamined ones...Shepard survives only in the "destroy" ending assumning you have enough EMS...but the nnormandy is ALWAYS STRANDED and with that your LI even if you brought her/him with you on your final mission...

are there endings we have not seen? happier or more hopeful ones with some sort of reunion and lots of blue children...maybe the secret NG+ ending? or something unlocked with the first Day 1 patch?

I'm just feeling broken right now Brenon

Actually if you read his answers carefully you see that they are very vague and do not prove anything about:

1) Normandy saved
2) Crew saved (Garrus/Tali included)
3) Relays intact
4) Shepard alive aside from Destroy ending (alive also in other endings)
5) And finally Shepard and his/her LI are reunited and this combo allows EDI to live with Joker

He never said this: I can't spoil anything but there is an Ending people were asking about.
Nope...

You've rejuvenated my anticipation for this game.  Only a few more hours until release.

All endings are just slight deviations from the "bad" ending most of you saw on youtube before EA took it down. Nothing really changes, only the color of the beam blowing up the relays.

More endings haven't been datamined because they don't exist. Only future patches and/or DLC can change that, I'm afraid. Hopefully Bioware realizes they dropped the ball and releases a free DLC with more endings. I haven't played Fallout 3, but I believe something similar was done with it after the "fallout" from its apparently horrendous ending.

and that's to living in lousy europe (at least concerning movies and game releases we are almost always behind the lucky americans, canadians and so forth

still, you could tell me - if some of you finish today (hardcore gaming through the night and all that) - if the endings are as bad as it seems

But you know what? I am playing the game right now and it is a blast. The combat is much better than Mass Effect 2, I'm having fun triggering warp explosions with kaiden and liara. Also surprisingly, James Vega is more interesting than I thought he would be. We're off to a good start...

Also game informer's review said the ending answered all remaining questions... but it's game informer so just take that with several grains of salt.

warp-explosion? (you skilled the explosive-warp then...or is this a combination with other biotics?)

Most people are in agreement about the Normandy issue and the endings are not so good as they are now. I am surprised PC gamer gave it a mixed bag but then again this reviewer from pc gamer invested 5 years and wants a decent ending when the Normandy crew fate is unknown. Well for the humans its assume they survived.

Also theres the teleport bug which shouldn't happen. If your crew are with you at the end and the game decides to put them on the Normandy there should be a cut scene explaining how they got there. I doubt garrus, tali, liara would abandon Shepard until they know for sure he is 100% dead. If they fix that Teleport bug i ll be happy.

Losing EDI, Vega, Prothy. Isn't a big deal to me. Liara, Garrus, Tali are a different story =(.

I'm OK with the endings believe it or not because honestly I saw this coming ever since Shepard-Sovereign discussion on Virmire. Yeah its not fantastic ending, but I'm satifised with it, I didn't honestly expect every single detail to be neatly tied up in the end. I know some people are really bothered by the lack of closure but at the end of the day I got to see the story to its conclusion, one I'm alright with. The games does have flaws and I really believe Bioware could have done this better, but Hell this isn't Ultima IX. Its an ending to a franchise that would have had an incredibly hard time living up to expectations and I never expected a happy ending.

Edit: I do understand where the people who dislike the endings are coming from and I feel that at some parts Bioware phoned it in. However what appears to be the majority view point in this thread isn't shared by me. Bioware games aren't really must buys for me after this because frankly I'm not interested in anything else they're offering, and they have seemed to have lost a bit of old magic. Overall I still say its a good game, albeit a flawed one.

Dammit, endings just plain suck - just seen all of them on youtube full walkthroughs  

Not only can you choose from those 3 endings in one playthrough if you gather enough reputation\\war assets e.t.c (which is lame - no incentive to replay quests differently), but they are all essentialy mean the same thing - galactic civilization of organics as we knew it is screwed :pinched: Not sure where this franchize will go with this bs conclusion in possible future installments - it will be a different game entirely.

On top of that, all your wasted time and emotional investment in squadmembers goes down the big drain with these fubar endings, not even a hint or some extended cutscene there. Just enjoy the view of Joker walking down the screwed Normandy in the middle of nowhere (with possible other unfortunates).
Investing in any LI is pointless - Shepard gets no love, no life and no future in the end. Only hurt. All you get is some old wheezer retelling a creepily built child Shepard's unfortunate story.

I just can't see how devs can say that this is a definite, satisfying and conclusive story:
-what ultimately happened to the galaxy - not shown
-what ultimately happened to the Normandy crew - not shown, but you can draw the unfortunate conclusions
-the state of Earth if Shep survives - not shown, but you can draw the unfortunate conclusions


And what pissed me off the most is that the game itself is quite good, I've been playing it since yesterday - it elaborately decieves you into thinking that it will end on the same hopeful note as two previos games, maybe a little darker. But no, in the end it  just slams you with a huge dissapointment and unanswered questions, the first of which is - WTF, BioWare???

Anyways, what I mean to say with this rant is that BioWare let their fans down the big way. I will not forget this and I hope many others will not forget too. I'm not gonna rage like mad here, trying to convince BW to make a DLC, a patch or whatever - they made this game, it's final, it's finished, no post-game DLC - confirmed, so I'm not having any foolish hopes on endings retcon. With all that has been said, I'll just finish with saying:

Thanks, BW, it was great while it lasted, but you've just lost a loyal fan here, who's been playing your games since Baldur's Gate saga. And since Baldur's Gate saga you have not provided a better ending.
