When I found out about the ending it ruined the entire series for me. I no longer have a good time in any of the games now. I don't even feel like I'm playing a game, I feel like I'm walking to a funeral. Also, sending synthetics to kill us before we could make our own lethal synthetics? Not only is that stupid, but what happened to sovereign's speech where it clearly showed Reapers hated organics and considered themselves superior. Bioware, you can't fix the story, but please, fix the ending.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Done. But I'm afraid it will be useless.J5550123 wrote...
We all just need to put the same signature asking for more endings, and maybe they'll actually listen to us. This is Shepard's last game and yet they leave us wanting more.

Just should've told a linear story if you don't want my choices to have any impact!

You pretty much summed up how I feel, I wasn't able to find the proper phrase until I read what you posted. It DOES feel like you are walking to a funeral.
I can't bring myself to import anymore saves at this point. The experience will be exactly the same no matter what I do. My Shepard can run around helping people for hours, but all his efforts will be rendered moot once the Guardian and the Tech-Singularity are inserted into this story arc.
It's an extraordinary cheat.
It's not just that the Guardian and the Tech-Sing are these last minute elements that are thrown into the game that bothers me. What truly disturbs me is that these endings that some gamers are praising as brilliant are NOT UNIQUE CONCEPTS. Bioware seems to borrow from EVERYONE to achieve these endings. If you're listening and paying attention you can easily see Deus Ex, you can also see the conversation between Neo and the Architect, and if you're a scifi reader and familiar with the material, you see the events of Revelation Space unfolding in a nearly identical plot that screams plagurism.
I can deal with a dark ending, I can deal with Shepard's fate and the loss of his companions. But these endings ask a little too much from us. They ask they we ignore our previous experiences in ME1&2, and accept magic tech as a solution. They ask the we accept that Mass Effect was not about the struggles of humanity and aliens, but an unending paradox that machines that were supposed to be "beyond our comprehension" seem to have been trapped in for millions of years.
I wanted Shepard to say to the Reapers, "You're all slaves! All of you are damned but you don't know it. Let me free you from this cycle" But Shepard says nothing as he communicates with a thing that has administered over the deaths of countless civilizations. He's standing in front the greatest murderer that has ever existed.............and he has nothing to say to counter this monster's choices?
THIS is a great ending? Where the protagonist just plays along?
There's nothing special about the Reapers anymore, they're no different than any other machine race that enaged in paracide/genocide throughout numerous fictions. That amazing moment when you first meet Soverieign/Nazara and realized that this A.I was driven by more than just a need to wipe out organics. He cast himself in the role of Alpha and Omega.......the beginning and the end. Now we find out that he's just following a pre-programmed cycle. That really stinks, and I feel robbed of something that could have been so extraordinary if the ending had been trusted to more creative minds.
But Bioware stole it's plays from the universal scifi playbook and THEN took a wrecking ball to it's entire universe.

I don't mean flooding a twitter page. I meant on the forums. They apparently read the forums and a lot of fans are upset about the ending, so they must have something to say about it.

Yep, very poor work very dissapointing. I am P#$% ed as a paying customer, wish I waited and did not fork over the $$ for this until I read the forums post release I would have gladly ended ME after ME 2 and the collectors then make up my own endign in my head.
That along with Tali's "picture" really .. .just crap effort on things that matter most IMO (endign and LI relationships),, , jsut frustrating.

At least your galactic readiness level is not based on your mitochlorian count.

True. Anyone get the feeling you are playing a movie / shooter hybrid instead of an RPG / Shooter ?
