So we can't get the ending we want after all?

People have already commented on much the same things I felt, so no need for repetition. I'm not looking for a "Disney" ending...heck, I was all prepared for the Reapers to win and the story end with her dying...but these endings...meh.
As it stands now, there is absolutely no replayability to the game. I've played the other ME chapters several times with different choices as the endings at least meant something, but ME3's endings? Why bother?
Short of a new DLC ending that adds some sort of closure or makes more sense, it's time to archive the game to my backups...

Bioware should address these concerns.. the ending is horrible! id prefer the sopranos fade to black! lol
I never thought I would say this but I agree! A freakin fade to black would have been way better!!
@Olueq Sadly...I sort of agree. At least I know everyone is going out with me as opposed to being dead or stranded alone and having the crew stranded or dead. At least there would be some unity among everyone while the Reapers kill them. Or they could go in stasis pods and wait for the threat to end. Seemed to work for Prothy....<_< Even though headcanon can fix it to a certain extent (at least for me), its just not the same as seeing it in game....obviously.

I was expecting the to be an ending where Shepard dies if you didn't Gather enough help for the final battle which give you more incentive to gain as many allies and resources as posssible which isn't the case not matter how hard you try, you still get "bad" endings
I was expecting there to be an ending in which Shepard lives and can at least live in peace with his/her LI. Bioware at this point could quite easily add in an ending where you destroy the reapers and husks without destroying the mass relays i.e. when your talking to the catalyst/guardian there could be either a paragon speech option or interrupt where you find out there is a way to stop the reapers without destroying the realy network..
then it would show an ending cut scene could show reapers collapsing on each of the planet's you visit and the troops cheering and after shows Shepard and the crew of the Normandy along with most of your allies at a memorial, on the Citadel, to all the People that gave there lives to defeat the Reapers.
This would a nice "happy" ending but still show how much was sacrificed to stop the Reaper and its not like through out the course of the game we don't make hard choices or see people sacrifice them selves for the cause.
i just hope that bioware listen to there fans and least condiser adding in a happier ending after all we are the loyal paying customers.

Bioware should create an Expansion pack that continues where it left off.. that's the only way they can really create some closure instead of just creating a video that's 5 minutes long and tries to cram everything in

Seeing as they like money, they should obviously go for that.

If they added a little bit of content, got rid of the Normandy crash landing, and gave a little epilogue stating what happened to the races and characters, that'd be great. I don't mind the relays getting destroyed. I think it's poetic, really. As well, without the relays, this will improve (I believe) innovation. It will lead to scientists coming up with new ideas to work around the absence of Mass Relays, and could possibly lead to galactic civilization becoming more advanced than the Reapers because they aren't held to one evolutionary (technologically speaking) path.
So...I wouldn't ask for DLC, as much as I'd ask for a patch to give an "epilogue" and remove the Normandy scene altogether. As well as the grandpa and kid scene.

Let's just say I feel like Clipper Darrel right now...
I'm ok with tragic endings, just not loose ties and wtf if's.
Feels like it's been going downhill since-no. I'll reserve my judgement and opinion on such matters for now.

A) its pointless, I'm screwed. (It makes me wanna be a pissed off renegade character, since hey, im gonna die anyways! We all are! ha)
and
Bioware is really letting me down. I was so excited the first time I played one of their games. Now I don't know if I trust them enough to buy from them again

Amen!!! I just want some closure, period. I get that everyone was relieved the reapers left or got destroyed or whatever based on what you picked...but when no one even looked for a second like "uh oh shepherds dead..? thats sad" I was like, really bioware?! I help these people through their problems and they just go crash land on an island planet and look all happy with no thought towards their dead friend? Jerks. (haha sorry for the rant. I'm just soooo frustrated!)

But the scene with the kid at the very end after the credits...Um...does that mean our entire playthrough starting with ME1 was essentially that dude's "story"? Because that's pretty much right up there with it was all a dream in my book. And I've seen some people mention that their supposedly dead team members ended up back on the normandy. This happened to me too. I had James and Garrus with me and James was magically on the island. Also, I'm assuming when you get knocked down by Harbringer's laser that your squad members you had with you died? Is that correct? It seemed weird to me that my Shep wouldn't acknowledge it. I JUST DONT GET IT! Any of it. Maybe I'm not smart enough for that ending hahaha

I loved the game up until the very ending. Same as everyone else it seems. The whole time my shep was talking to the little god child I was wishing for a "what the f*** are you saying right now" dialogue option. I don't feel like I truly understand what just happened. Why did my crew go all giligan's island at the end? Is no one sad I died? I wanted to cry when the credits rolled. NOT because it was a sad ending, more because I felt so let down and betrayed by Bioware. This is the second time I've felt like they've promised something about a game and blew it all to hell at the end. I guess I can just go sell back all of my mass effects because I don't think I can start another play through from the beginning knowing that
A) its pointless, I'm screwed. (It makes me wanna be a pissed off renegade character, since hey, im gonna die anyways! We all are! ha)
andnone of my choices matter. ... I wish there had been something saying what happened to our squad mates. Even if it was as boringly done as the writing notes at the end of DA:O if you sacrificed yourself.
Bioware is really letting me down. I was so excited the first time I played one of their games. Now I don't know if I trust them enough to buy from them againGuess I'm gonna go work off my anger/frustration by going on a really long run. I never wanna hear the words Mass Effect ever again haha
During that whole scene I want my Shepard to start yelling off about all things that happend up to that point. The peace between the Geth and Quarins, the Peace between Krogans, Turians and Salarians. Especailly want my Shepard to mention Thane and how he a Kolyat made peace at end and Wrex joy at being a father - just to spit on the like AI/GodCPU's logic. All that work into resolving those conflicts had no influence on the endings at all...
