So the ending was a choice, but i didnt get a choice, it just did synthisis. it told me my three options , but only offerd me one. did i miss something?

Techincally yes theres 2 other "endings" they are basically the same just with different colored explosions and characters after the crash.

Looking at the tweets to the producer.. Looks like he could give a damn less about the fan-base.. Always hope for a better ending but looks dim atm. Image IPB

Funny thought.. This is kind of like the matrix..

Blue pill.

Red pill..

eh **** it purple pill

Link to the tweets?

https://twitter.com/#!/GambleMike there you go

It's a shame that Mike is being so negative to the fans. I expected more from Bioware.

To be fair, he can't say much else.  He did say he was listening, and that's all you can expect right now until he has some time to do damage control with his group.

Some of those comments are unnecessary.  Saying the game was plotless was dumb and disrespectful.  Post people in this thread have it right.  Great game, major flaws in the end.

There are even a couple of flaws I wanted to post about later while I played the game, but they are nothing compared to the last 10 minutes of the game.  Why complain about a code 1 problem when there's a code 912 glaring you in the face?

I'm so disappointed. There was no conclusion at all. In London everybody tells "You're gonna make it, you're beat the Reapers, we believe in you." You get to the Citadel, you shoot Anderson, TIM kill himself and finally some ghost-like child tells you "I created the Reapers, now choose 1 of 3 options how to kill yourself (you may survive 1 if you have big enough army)" THE END. Wait... it is just a story some grandpa telling to his grandson. Let's hear it again....

What's funny is how do you survive just because there are more people fighting? There isn't any specification that shows having alot of people on your side helped you survive some how.

There are all possible endings:www.ign.com/wikis/mass-effect-3/Endings
So you can see that the endings are different if you have bigger army.

I dont understand

Here I am, close to 6 K army, , almost max Galactic Readiness.

I'm thinking oh yeah, I got this huge fleet of ships, We're gonna fly into Earth, kick some reaper ass, blow em all up with the crucible, I've sown peace among all the races as paragon sheppard, and now me and Liara are gonna go and have our Blue Children

Then I get to then end, and it's 3 choices, they dont take any of my previous choices into account, doesn't matter whethere I am paragon, renegade, nothing, just 3 choices, that have essentially the exact same outcome, only in 2 sheppard dies and one he survives. No Epilogue, nothing!!!

Bioware, how could you? This is the same travesty Deus Ex Human Revolution put on us!!!!

Please, fix this PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I know there are more "endings". I'm just saying you don't see the fleet help you from not dying. Like seeing the new shield you installed on the normandy made it so one of your crew didn't die after the Omega 4 relay in ME2.

techincally theres only 3 endings.. Just each ending has 6 Slight differences for each ending.
if there was actually 16 different ending im pretty sure everyone would be happy but its actually false regarding actual endingsImage IPB

All I needed was to defeat the reapers and then see CGI videos of what happened afterwards based on my decisions. Bioware should have learned from Dues Ex, Matrix and the dozen of other recycled similar endings.
Now we will probably get some simple comic explaining some stuff, a tale this epic should have video and voices.

I'm fine with Shepard dying but I was hoping that Liara becoming pregnant would have been the reward for staying loyal to her through 3 games. I wanted to see a video of her pregnant or holding the hand of their child standing in front of a Shepard memorial. If Shepard lives there could be even more than 1 child.

Mass effect 3 was all about closure to me. We got 30 hours of game and a 15 seconds of a terrible ending.

Bioware in the future please remember when making a series like this the ending is just as important as the action leading up to it. Dragon Age Origin ending was fine, but Mass Effect is an epic tale over 3 games with the same character giving closure at the end makes or breaks the whole series.

I can't believe how much of a fool I was expecting a detailed ending. 5 years, 600 + hours, 7 Shepards and I been depressed for the last 2 days because of the ending.

Many people are sceptical about it since they're lying aobut there being 16 endings already.

Besides very few people are in the state of mind that they'd actually want to play again.

How can we even trust them anymore? Someone who works as a reviewer at IGN is in ME3. Just saying.

Here is the REAL issue with the endings:

All 3 endings are vastly different outcomes for the races of the galaxy - who lives, who dies, in what way civilization prospers again... Destroying the Reapers kills off an entire race, all synthetic life, as well as "technology you heavily depend on". This is an enormous setback for the galaxy.

Controlling the Reapers leaves everything the way it is, but without the mass relays.

Synergy literally changes every single species in the universe to a new species. This is very very extreme.

So why on Earth is the ONLY difference we get to see the color of the beam shooting out of the relays? The game lacks a real aftermath.

I know what you mean. There is no reason to change the outcome of the path Shepard chose, just because there are more ships flying around, especially when he is at the Citadel alone.

Im curious as to why people are saying people survive at the end...Doesn't the mass relays have an aftershock that basically kills all forms of life and tech in that solar system... I could have sworn it did in ME2

The aggravation of having all these completionist Mass Effect 1 and 2 saves, with many diff decisions in each, looking forward ot seeing how they play out in this game, and finding out that at the end of it all, it just doesn't matter at all....

Bioware....ugh......Why would you do this to us?

on another note can someone explain to me how everyone ended up on the Normandy and how they got through the mass relay before everything blew up?

I feel robbed 240hours of ME to get this ending... no point in saying theres 3 endings in the end it all ends the same... red = planet and boy.... blue= planet and boy.... green= planet and boy.

I have never seen a group of people completely united like this. No trolls, no arguments, just all of us feeling the exact same way.

If all of us can so clearly understand why this was the wrong way to end mass effect, why couldn't any of the writers or developers? I really want to know how this happened.

Nope, I don't even know why Joker was by a relay. He was supposed to be the head of the fleet right? Why would he be all the way at the edge of the Sol System. That's where the Mass Relay is right? Near Pluto?
