Just to repost this, even though there's a thread for it. If we're going to all keep this up, call Michael out on his bull ****.

Let's do IT.
There a lot of people here that write very well about what is wrong with the game + what BW is doing with us, hiding the topics, not answering to us...

Now what could be done?
1. Let it as it is and let the people be disappointed
2. DLC politics
3. Complete new ending or 1-2 new ones added
I wish BW would make choice 3 not only because of this 15k posts thread. But number 3 never ever happened in history, so my hope won't really come true. What I want to tell is, that BW has to admit that they screwed their whole franchise with that and which developer did that before?
BUT if they considering that and would really do it then many people would see them as gods.
---------------
The first choice is also obsolete because all people expect DLC. But with this ending the motivation of DLC is not at its best - mine is practically at zero.
---------------
So only choice 2 stands out. But this is in my opinion not much better than choice number 1.
As I said... the motivation.
It doesn't matter what DLC is coming. A DLC after the battle is illogical because the mass relays are destroyed. So only DLC before it is logical. But why do you want to play a DLC when you know that it doesn't change anything?

They didn't move this one, they renamed the forum. This was always here. But there was an ending thread in the Story forum that was moved here, so they are doing something.

can't help but remember the one quote by michael gamble.
"There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets?"
at first i laughed, then i thought about how much time i put into the games and nearly started crying.
hes been getting a lot of heat on twitter I think he should be reminded of this quote
yes he should. but i don't even feel like it at the moment.
i just want to throw the game into a dark corner and never be reminded of the last few years playing it ever again. just want to forget this ever, ever happened.
i mean seriously, does anyone actually think that something will be changed or done?
because i have to admit, i can't find any hope. i don't think i even want to hope..

So here I am having over 200 hours played on ME1 and over 300h on ME2...
I started playing ME3 going through the story with woowzers all the time, seeing how characters from the first and second game getting back telling their stories again and giving the right input in to wining the war against the Reapers... and when I got to the main Cerberus base I realized how fu.cked up things are... since i knew the spoilers... now I am on Earth knowing that whatever I do it all narrows to a very sad ending, whatever I would headcanon, it doesn't matter for me because I know that the game is going to give me the real ending which I don't want to happen.
I live in hope that after beating the game, having all the war assets I can get and the galactic readiness at 100% and I destroyed the Reapers...I will start a new game and it will give me an ending I want.
Shepard survives, Normandy and the crew survives, all races survive and the mass relays exist while Earth is sacrificed... because I never had an connection to it in the game. It was a meaningless planet for me in this universe.
Sad day really

For what it's worth, my reminding him of this quote is what set the whole firestorm on twitter off. He made his initial tweet, and I responded "You also said there was more than one ending for ME3. Forgive me if my faith is a little thin at this point. >:-|". His response was basically him saying he thought the DID qualify as different endings, and I told him where I disagreed, and then we conversed about the contents of the endings just a bit more before some people got ugly and derailed him with personal insults.
So he isn't being allowed to forget this. But really, guys, you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar. He seemed to be at least pretending to take into consideration what I was saying before people got inflammatory. And that's more than we had before.

No, I don't - because I haven't experienced a family member dying yet. I haven't had to deal with such a massive disappointment or heart break before. Not all people are like you, experienced what you experienced, or even have the same way of dealing with stress. I never expected Bioware to do this, I've played their games since BG and there was always a happy ending option. I assumed that even if you had to work your butt off hard as hell, there WOULD be a happy option. Hell. one of the options they put in could have been happy, or all of them, if Shepard could have a slim possibility of living in them and the normandy didn't land on some random island. Closure would be nice, too. As it is, I've spent years being emotionally invested in their longest series to date and then they slap you in the face and say, no, you don't deserve to know what happened, your crew deserves to land on some random ass end planet and probably die, and by the way, you have no chance of living even if you did everything right if you don't want to destroy all synthetic life, including someone you possibly care a great deal about and wasting another possibly close friend's life.
