So we can't get the ending we want after all?

[Insert pure rage and random insults to bioware here]
ah poor excuse.. not story based.. then what the **** is the ending about then? Remember how stories are made... Begining.. middle... and ******** ending...
Damage control at its finest. They are just trying to push it to a lesser section to reduce what people see.

have any of the Admins or Mods even post once on this thread?
Nope. I'm hoping Bioware's silence means they are actively considering a solution.
Like I said, if you want to grab their attention, media attention is the best way to do it.

How do we get the media involved?

If we do this right, we can respectfully ask bioware to pay attention to the fans and their wishes. But we have to be mature about it, or we lose any chance of positive attention.

It looks like, in the Story forum, that most threads that have people upset about bad endings are getting closed, yet the threads where people like the endings seem to be going straight to the top. Hmm...
Those threads have maybe six pages, with few exceptions. This one has nearly six hundred. I wonder why.
If you think this is a clever way to hide criticism, BioWare. You're just going to add to it.

Quick edit: I don't mean to disrespect the devs in any way. I develop software for a living (and occasionally write mods for games). I know it must be super tough for them to be seeing their hard work ripped to shreds by a ton of people. This is why I think respectful disagreement will win out. I am sure there are a few devs @ Bioware that weren't fans of the ending either.
I am going to trust Bioware and hope they aren't actively trying to silence anyone.

Ynh - I wouldn't rely on the forums alone, because as you pointed out, for every good post, there's a bunch that would just grate on the nerves of the mods and devs. If you look it up, there's at least a group on facebook (Demand a better ending for Mass Effect 3, I think it's called).

Problem is that as this is a very personal and emotional issue, I doubt many people can keep their cool.

And yes, please everyone stay mature and just give your feedback in a respectful way. If you can't show respect to them, they won't show respect towards you.

My question to everyone here is, is Bioware actually going to listen to the people in this 590+ page thread? There are a ton of great constructive posts, but for each one, there are 10 more that are not constructive. I think we should organize something that will get their attention rather than just putting it on their forums (which can be easily ignored or manipulated to their whims).
i just went there and it was closed "because it wasn't story and campaign related end of line" thats what a mod said i mean wtf we're talking abt the ending of the game! its abt the friggin story!!!

All i wanted from endings was
Renegade
1. You didn't prepare enough and everybody dies, The Reapers win
2. You sacrifice your alien allies fleets to save humanity and defeat the Reapers
Paragon
1. You didn't prepare enough and have to sacrifice yourself and the human fleets to save the rest of the galaxy.
2. You rally the entire galaxy against the Reapers and destroy them becoming a galactic hero.
^ I just wanted to get some more exposure in a giant thread for a simple and preferred endings.
^^THIS, a hundred times.
Damn my random idea is spreading fast xD
I've already posted it to the mods, hopefully Bioware will take note

After spending so much time playing and becoming emotionally invested in this franchise the last five years, to see it end like that was just so disappointing. Hundreds of hours of game play and multiple play throughs washed away in a matter of minutes. I looked forward to playing ME3 many times and now I can't see myself playing it again. If I do I can say for sure my game will always stop with Anderson and Shepard looking out at earth. Everything after that never happened.
