Piling on. Nothing new to contribute, just hoping the sheer mass of discontented comments provokes a response.

Why someone would deliberately sabotage their franchise like this is a mystery to me. I played through ME2 once with each class, bought all the DLC - I have never been so wrapped up in a game in my life. The series finale sucked that excitement right out. Why bother with a second playthrough or DLC?

I am not the best at posting at these places. To many thoughts going, to self conscious to just blast what ever I am thinking here. But I am in agreement with a lot of the fans take on the endings. It feels hollow. Like you get yourself a wonderfully written movie, you involve yourself in it, and of course it has different parts, so you put up with this and buy the next several series.. it leads up to a high climax... and then plays Yakkity sax and tries to go in a complete 180 from where it had been going. Sure it gives you a "WTF!?" moment, and I know developers like to go for that effect, but key thing here.. This is not the kind of "WTF" moment you want to go for.

Here's a suggestion to BioWare. I know they won't actually make it, but still.

Make a free DLC/patch that cuts out everything from the ending except this:

This way the story gets at least some emotional conclusion without the lolspacekid part, at zero effort on the developers' part. All they have to do is remove some stuff from the game, without adding anything more.

Sure, it will also remove the "multiple" endings, but the "multiple" part should really be in sarcastic quotes when there really only is a single "rocks fall, everyone dies" ending and all you get to choose is the color of the rocks.

A review of the game saying the endings were bad isn't good enough.

For Bioware to be forced into a response, the gaming sites need to report on US.

They need to report on THIS.

For example-

A. A glowingly positive review that says the endings are bad- swept under the rug.

B. A report on the universal fan outcry of the bad endings- gets attention.

And if IGN ever decides to have a report on the critical bombing of ME3's endings, they'll likely ask Bioware for a response.

That's what we want.

I finished the game last night and still haven't recovered. The ending introduces more questions than answers. Is it really too much to ask to see some kind of resolution to the choices I made in the game?
And talk about circular logic: Synthetics must destroy organics so they don't create synthetics who will destroy organics.
Also, is it just me or did the Illusive Man confrontation at the end feel like an exact repeat of the Saren confrontation in the first game? Such incredibly lazy writing

The beginning (face import) and ending (choices???) were so distracting from an otherwise very good game. There were minor issues throughout, but overall I really liked ME3. Maybe even one of my favorite games of the last 10 years... but wow. the beginning and the end... 5% of the game takes SO much from the game as a whole.

This ending seriously killed any desire for me to replay ME3, or any of the other games.

What in the hell does it all matter if EVERYTHING falls slave to some 11th hour metaphysics at the end of ME3?

Way to completely ruin the mystique of the Reapers. To completely trash the amazing world/universe that had been built up over the course of three games, and perhaps most importantly, to deny any and all closure to the great characters that fought in the final battle.

Even beyond the crew of the Normandy, what happened to Grunt/Zaeed/Miranda/Jack etc? Did they survive? Since the entire second game was about recruiting them and doing the impossible, I'm sorry if I want to know their fates.

Goddamn, the ending of ME3 is completely mishandled in EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY.

Ridiculous.

I can understand making us work for a good ending...but not having one available? I have to wonder if BW was going for a "most fans disappointed" record. I can't even count the number of sites all around the world echoing the same.
I tried to vote on the ending poll, however it keeps crashing explorer. Everytime I hit refresh the number of upset fans climbs higher. And no one from BW cares to comment?

Oh I totally should have told you guys I'm currently living abroad in Chile.  From what I saw on spanish gaming forums, count  ALL Spanish & Latin Fleets in.
