I'm from Maryland, a huge Ravens fan and my favorite class is vanguard!

*cough* But back on topic...

I've been lurking here silently since a few days before the launch; I had been trying really hard to stay away from the damn spoilers, but and inconsiderate someone ruined the endings for me. Ugh... I think I'm still in denial since I havent seen it with my own eyes yet. Anyway, I just got my copy today, so I'll reserve judgement until I see the horrible truth for myself.

But, if this is all true and not some terrible halucination I'm having, then yeah, I'm just as disgusted as all of you... Everything that has been said here already will have pretty much summed up my thoughts: the end is bull****. Although maybe I'll have more to add when I finish the game. *shrug*

I created a thread with some fleet mobilization if anyone is interested. It's not perfect, but could be a way for us to distract our minds and gather support. It would be interesting to see exactly how many fleet we could gather up.

So I think all of use Mass Effect fans should stand together on this and petition BioWare to fix this major screw up! After all they can't say no to thousands of fans who are angry and disappointed with how the trilogy ends.

Yep that's what made me cry myself to sleep the night I beat the game... It's what most of us are feeling.

Well, I clearly don't need to spend a lot of time explaining my frustrations, as so many people have chimed in. However, I figured I'd throw my name in the giant bucket hat of discontent by posting on these forums.

ME3 had flaws and plot holes throughout, but the absolute disaster that was the end game is a huge damper on the entire series.

It's as disastrous a plot as the second Michael Bay Transformers movie.

I can't tell you how amazed I am to see us all come together. If this is how Shepard felt then she/he deserves to have a good ending option available. We are all coming together and everyone is beginning to notice us. I just put an awesome quote in my sig that I saw someone else say ~

"We Rage Because We Love" ~ This says how we all feel about our ME games and why we are so outraged. I'm proud of everyone so far for not accepting these endings that they shoved down our throats and I hope our voices can be heard.

Current information states that regardless of which ending you choose, regardless of whether or not Shep lives or dies, the Normandy crew gets stranded on some random world without tech, Shepard will never see them again, and the galaxy by and large is completely boned for the next 200k years or so without any kind of good spacefaring tech.


To which I just want to say...why? After so many years of giving us control, why jerk it away from us at the last second just to force us to get a "bittersweet" ending. Not that I mind there being one present, and I'd use one in a playthrough, but not ALL my playthroughs.

I'm thinking it sets up sequel opportunities. Heroes win, but now there's a new story to tell... rescuing the heroes, finding new mysterious space tech, etc. etc. And yes I know ME is supposed to be a "trilogy" but whatevs. It'll continue until the money dries up. Cynical? No. Realistically capitalist. Plus the ends do lend themselves to more storyline.
