It's great to see people from all over the world uniting together to let our voices be heard. We will not accept these endings. This story is as much ours as it is theirs. We deserve to have an ending that gives the closure we all yearn for.

I just love the fact that after years of risking her life, sacrificing her comrades, getting killed by the Collectors, being resurrected by an organization she swore to defeat, being ignored by the council, being stabbed in the back by Kaidan, and watching her friends die for people she never knew- Shepard is rewarded with death, then a last minute breath of life, only to wake up to the fact that those who survived the mission are now stranded on a remote world and she will never see any of them again. In fact, she won't even know if they're alive.

Add to that the fact that all these aliens are now stranded in the Sol System, which in the case of the Turians and Quarians means they get to slowly starve to death. Only possibility I can see to save them with these endings would be if the Synthesis somehow made them able to eat human food/not need to eat at all.

Yeah, I am grasping at straws to make myself feel better about the end. I just decided to come up with my own "real" ending. In MY ending, the whole scene with the God-Kid never took place. Ariana Sheperd remembered just in time, "Hey, I've dodged these Reaper beams many times before, I can do it again intead of standing here stupidly while my controller frantically mashes the space bar to get me to dodge!" (True story)

She and her loyal boyfriend Garrus and best friend Liara make it to the beam, where they are transported into the Citadel proper. There ensues a truly epic fight through hordes of Husks, until finally they make it to the "Baby Reaper v. 2.0" Cue epic final battle with the almost finished Reaper (can't make it too easy, after all, they did kill one of these already, so this one is just about finished) Arianna uses her Vanguard powers with support from Liara, and finally Garrus gets the epic kill shot with his Widow and the thing goes down with a satisfying explosion.

Finally, after all their hard work, they make it to the control room. But wait, who is this standing in front of us? TIM of course. This scene I decided to leave fairly similar; TIM tries to control Ariana, fails, but in the meantime she shoots poor Garrus for dramatic effect. She gets TIM to go all Saren on us, then frantically rushes to Garrus' side to make sure he's ok. Even thought up a cute and cheesy line here: "Don't even think about getting to that bar before me!" Fortunately he lives, and with some medigel he's back on his feet. They make their way to the control panel, and cue Catalyst completion cutscene.

At this point I'm conflicted on what I want my headcanon to be. In the happy fairytale ending, the Catalyst targets Reapers only, so other AI won't be affected. Otherwise cue teary goodbye to the now-sentient Geth and EDI. It is not some space-magic device with several color options, but a massive EMP-style weapon that severely weakens the Reapers, allowing the fleets to finally take them down. It does not travel through the different relays to effect everything at once. Rather, we then have to bring it to each system in turn and activate it. Eventually the Reapers retreat, or we just say **** it and wipe them all out.

There would still be some heavy casualites of course, and Earth doesn't get to feel all special about being "the last stand". It would just be the beginning of victory. And an epic yet still realistic victory at that.

Of course in my headcanon at the end of it all she and Garrus get to chill at the bar They talk about retirement, and Ariana decides that after all her hard work, next time the galaxy needs saving it can take a number. She and her Turian are adopting some of the many Turian/Human orphans and starting a family.

The ending sucks. Not that it's bad, it's just plain wrong.
