Just think, if all of us actually make an impact and BW do make a new ending .. It'll be OUR ending. Something we all fought for. Something we, as gamers, can be proud of.

That might make it even better than if Bioware wrote it from the start.

Back on topic: I'm still furious. Bioware clearly violated the writer-reader contract with this lazily slapped-together, inconclusive ending.

Kind of. They acknowledge our thoughts. They just "aren't ready to comment yet". They're up to something, I think.

I'd imagine they're not ready to comment because the game has been out for less than a week. Considering this is the first weekend since its release, they're waiting to get more reactions from people before making a statement. I'd say sometime next week would be an adequately acceptable response time. Much longer than that and they run the risk of alienating fans even more.

Sweet I've lost hope, regained it, lost it again, went mental for a little while, played them game, died inside a little, reviewed the games on Amazon and Metacritic, kept this thread going late into the nights, now have this weird conspiracy theory about the ending being a dream... it's been a hell of a ride just being on the forums.

It's certainly been noticed. But the response need not be the one most of us want. If you recall DA2, the dev team took a "Too bad." stance on that fiasco. Not saying that this team is looking to flip a collective bird to the community. I'm sure they care about what we think of the game. But the official outcome is anyone's guess at this point.

Considering how many people bought the game, how many of those people already finished it, how many of those people decided to go on the forums, and how many of those people decided to actually create an account, wait 24 hours and post..

Don't let our voices go unheard! Is it too much to ask to have closure? To have meaningful endings that make sense? To reward those of us who played for hours on end doing everything possible to save the galaxy from the reapers? We have invested far too much into this beloved franchise for this to be the end!

At least Kotor 2 was little Obsidian being bullied by LucasArts for a Christmas release. They admitted they screwed up. Bioware should a) Have enough power to tell EA they have to wait a bit or at least HAVE THE ENDING FOR A PLANNED TRILOGY ALREADY DONE.

Well, Obsidian were offered 1 year to complete the game. Avellone and co agreed to do it. So it's not only Lucas Arts' fault. I agree with another part of your message.
Bioware! Give us happy end, DA:Origins style. Or maybe sound and logical finish for your blockbuster serries. It does deserve it.

It's 5:41am.

Ive spent the last 29 hours hours enjoying the game (with a sleep break : P ), the most enjoyment infact in many years of gaming, totally invested in the story as all above.

The last 15mins, were among the worst.

IT made LA noires ending look like something out of a disney film.

Not sure what you wanted from that bioware, but im left completley FLAT.

I was considering starting a new game in ME3 but then I heard the romance music from the game via a link on tumblr... it made me remember all the beautiful romance scenes and how they all meant nothing in the end...
So I came back here.

There is a difference though. With DA2 the outcry was a lot of "This game is bad! Do it better!"
The vast majority of people here absolutely loved the entire game up until the final minutes, literally minutes. We're not asking for them to redo the game, we're just asking for a goodbye that we can say is worthy of the greatest sci-fi adventure ever (arguably).
