It's certainly been noticed. But the response need not be the one most of us want. If you recall DA2, the dev team took a "Too bad." stance on that fiasco. Not saying that this team is looking to flip a collective bird to the community. I'm sure they care about what we think of the game. But the official outcome is anyone's guess at this point.

There is a difference though. With DA2 the outcry was a lot of "This game is bad! Do it better!"
The vast majority of people here absolutely loved the entire game up until the final minutes, literally minutes. We're not asking for them to redo the game, we're just asking for a goodbye that we can say is worthy of the greatest sci-fi adventure ever (arguably).

I agree. Also, DA:O was hard to top, since it was almost perfect. And there was pretty much nothing they could do to solve DA2 problem. But for ME, they made ME2 better than ME1, so it raised the expectations pretty high, which they DID achieve, because the game itself was amazing. Except for the very veeeeery end, so there is a way to fix it 

I'm right with you two. I ask only for mah blue tentacle babies with the good doctor. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake.

I kid, I kid. There is plenty that could be improved with the ending(s). But I'm too tired to write my own headcanon ideas down.

I was getting teary with some of the romance scenes with Garrus. So well-written, and they seemed to either make me want to squeal with joy or cry and give my Turian a giant hug. Then the end. All that talk about having kids, meeting in heaven's bar, him improvising to stay alive, and me looking down on him so he'll never be alone. That last whispered, "Never." Exactly. The romance subplot in ME3 was definitely my favorite of all the ME games, and it was amazing. Also, the characters have more natural movements and facial expressions, so it made it so much better and cuter. It was well written, and the goodbyes right before the final battle made me cry...

The longer I go past finishing it the worst I feel. I honestly didn't feel this bad when I broke up for the first time. I'll need to go to group counseling for this with other Me fans.

Me:"It was great. Until he showed up..."

Counselor: "Who?"

M: "The kid. The kid who was all blue..."

C: "What was he doing there?"

M: "I DON'T KNOW. DAMMIT, CAN'T YOU SEE I DON'T UNDERSTAND!"

C: "It's okay..."

M: "DON'T TOUCH ME! Why.... why was he there? It didn't make sense.... IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!!!"

Don't let our voices go unheard! Is it too much to ask to have closure? To have meaningful endings that make sense? To reward those of us who played for hours on end doing everything possible to save the galaxy from the reapers? We have invested far too much into this beloved franchise for this to be the end!

It's like almost all of the forum united, which I'm not sure has happened before, at least not with this many people.

If we counted all the outrage threads and put a number on the pages we'd be well over 2000. There's a thread in the spoiler group that was 1000 by itself I think...

I'm pretty sure this thread will hit 1,000.

Unless it gets locked or we get answers!

If we get locked we'll make another!

My feelings exactly... in fact, when Shepard murmured: "I love you, Garrus Vakarian." I burst into tears of joy... there isn't a chick flick romance movie out there that has moved me to tears like that.

Also, now I have that sad piano tune stuck in my head and it won't go away and its TAUNTING ME!

I really do find it impressive how such a large chunk of the BSN has actually united in one voice with this. Where we used to snipe one another over romances, who is the best character, and then the bigger issues, paragon/renegade, Cerberus/Anti-Cerberus, etc, we're now one group of disappointed fans wanting change.

My best friend, she doesn't play ME, but I explained all of this to her, and every time we converse the past week or so she says, "I still can't believe that. How could they do that? How's that all going?" It's kind of odd, to see her actually concerned about it, having no real investment in it beyond a blurb of a Thanefic I never finished that she read, but she is.

Speaking of Thane. The whole "Yeah we dropped the ball on him dying/crew reactions to it." really doesn't help my mood any. I've lost all drive to finish this game. I really ought to go back to just playing Rift and try to get over it.

They need to hurry up and give us a better ending, I will gladly change my ratings on Amazon and Metacritic. I want to give ME3 a good rating I really do, but I can't if all your choices boil down to nothing in the end. Just like I thought would happen... You would think they may be losing sales for bad ratings... maybe...

So much invested into this. I cried like a baby when Mordin died singing and smiling, I cried when Kolyat asked me to recite a prayer with him, I cried when Legion told me "I must go", I cried with the romance dialogue, I cried when Miranda sacrificed herself for Ori.

I'm so sensitive when things really hit me.

I couldn't cry when Legion died...I mean, he just dropped dead. Literally. So I was like "what just happened? :blink:" and couldn't really feel sad...it was just...weird. 

But yes, when Thane died was really depressing. All the goodbye scenes at the end...

I do no expect this situation to be resolved soon. BioWare needs to carefully study fan response and fix the ending accordingly. Rushing fix may get things worse actually.

Shepard: Okay, how about this, I'll give you my gun and you can shoot the console over there. Meanwhile, I'll go back to Earth with my Turian-lover and all our friends, and we'll watch the Citadel explode-red from there. Sound good? Great. See ya!
Catalyst: I told you she wouldn't fall for it.
Harbinger: We are so ****ed.

Agreed, they don't need to rush it.  Just acknowledge their community, own their mistake, and reassure us that our choices and our voices are not in vain.

I would wish to have that kind of relationship with my family.
But well... I still love them, regardless of what they think of me.

Enjoy and appreciate what you have because it's something beatiful and when things are gone is when we realize that we haven't done enough.

And now I'm crying again. Haha I sound like masochist right now.
