They could at least make a formal statemente saying that they aknowledge the problem and that they will try to fix it. Then we will all sit here quietly waiting for them to analyze all the data and try to come up with the best solution possible. ;)

What should have happened:

Catalyst: You, Shepard, will not survive regardless of the choice you make.
Shepard: Okay, how about this, I'll give you my gun and you can shoot the console over there. Meanwhile, I'll go back to Earth with my Turian-lover and all our friends, and we'll watch the Citadel explode-red from there. Sound good? Great. See ya!
Catalyst: I told you she wouldn't fall for it.
Harbinger: We are so ****ed.

I would pay $30+ for a renegade interrupt during the "choices" explanation where Shepard just screams "F*** YOU!" and blows the hell out of a control panel, deactivating all the reapers and saving the galaxy. But then again, I think I'd probably want a little bit more.

So for those of us who love the soundtrack, who feels this is an appropriate theme? :)

"Stand Strong, Stand Togeher"

Don't let our voices go unheard! Is it too much to ask to have closure? To have meaningful endings that make sense? To reward those of us who played for hours on end doing everything possible to save the galaxy from the reapers? We have invested far too much into this beloved franchise for this to be the end!

It's like almost all of the forum united, which I'm not sure has happened before, at least not with this many people.

If we counted all the outrage threads and put a number on the pages we'd be well over 2000. There's a thread in the spoiler group that was 1000 by itself I think...

I'm pretty sure this thread will hit 1,000.

Unless it gets locked or we get answers!

If we get locked we'll make another!

If that doesn't work and they close the forums we'll take to twitter and facebook and whatever social network they are on!

I'm sure that someone (or everyone) has already noticed this or pointed it out, but this is almost like ME3 itself.  Many different people, from all over, coming together under a banner of hope for the future.
And perhaps, we share something with the Reapers.  We are each a nation...  Almost literally, actually.
But that is where similarities end.
Some have said "Hold the line".
Others "Give us an ending worth fighting for."
And I say;  Come what may.  We will not lie down like a bunch of Quarians with a stomach ache.

They can close a thread, sure...  But hey, we'll bounce right back up again.

Finished the game twice now. I have to agree with this thread. First run through I was a bit below 50% on Galactic readiness, and so I got 100% and all the assets I could muster the second run through.

Not really any difference. Shepard lived, but still won't see the friends and all after what happened. What the heck was going on? Joker suddenly going through a relay, escaping an explosion... out comes Tali who was on the ship, although she'd been on Earth with me. I really don't get it.

I also wanted to find out if the Krogans really tried to wage another Galactic war later on, etc. ARHG.

Damn. I was feeling pretty crappy for the past week, but seeing this thread, seeing everyone come together, gives me so much hope... and that's really what Mass Effect is all about.

Did someone say there was an official thread where the BSN "fleets" were gathering? o.O

I made a thread that's something like that. I fixed it, because copy/paste from my document didn't work out that well >.> But this may or may not be what you were refereing to.

I was considering starting a new game in ME3 but then I heard the romance music from the game via a link on tumblr... it made me remember all the beautiful romance scenes and how they all meant nothing in the end...
So I came back here.

I was getting teary with some of the romance scenes with Garrus. So well-written, and they seemed to either make me want to squeal with joy or cry and give my Turian a giant hug. Then the end. All that talk about having kids, meeting in heaven's bar, him improvising to stay alive, and me looking down on him so he'll never be alone. That last whispered, "Never." I was literally almost in tears. I was truly in awe of the writers for this one. Better than any movie I've seen.

Then came the end, and while I was expecting some sort of sacrifice, I was never expecting the crushing hopelessness the end left me with. None of those promises, none of my Shepard's hard work, made one bit of difference in the end.

My feelings exactly... in fact, when Shepard murmured: "I love you, Garrus Vakarian." I burst into tears of joy... there isn't a chick flick romance movie out there that has moved me to tears like that.

Also, now I have that sad piano tune stuck in my head and it won't go away and its TAUNTING ME!

My feelings exactly. My Garrus and Shepard devotion to their relationship was beyond touching in this game and everything was just ruined in the end. I feel your pain and know exactly what your saying, it was beyond touching and I hope Bioware fixs the end after all our refusals to except it.

How in the world would you assume that a company that big as BW is would make any "troll attempts"? This is nothing but a just failure. And now we'll see whether they amit it and try to repair the damage, or take their prode and say the majority is wrong and they are right.

There is a difference though. With DA2 the outcry was a lot of "This game is bad! Do it better!"
The vast majority of people here absolutely loved the entire game up until the final minutes, literally minutes. We're not asking for them to redo the game, we're just asking for a goodbye that we can say is worthy of the greatest sci-fi adventure ever (arguably).

This song is too sad...

Everything destroyed in 5 mins.

So much invested into this. I cried like a baby when Mordin died singing and smiling, I cried when Kolyat asked me to recite a prayer with him, I cried when Legion told me "I must go", I cried with the romance dialogue, I cried when Miranda sacrificed herself for Ori.

I'm so sensitive when things really hit me.

I couldn't cry when Legion died...I mean, he just dropped dead. Literally. So I was like "what just happened? " and couldn't really feel sad...it was just...weird.

But yes, when Thane died was really depressing. All the goodbye scenes at the end...:crying:

I was teary eyed when I watched what happened to Mordin and Thane.. And then Legion... I loved Legion.. He was honestly one of my favorites from ME2 (I have a weakness for High Tech robots (I love Armored Core)). I went back and got all 3 outcomes before I moved on... In every one.. he had to die.. Made me really sad...

I think there should be a trick in the game, it is just unreal, plus my ending had a bug in the final image, it was partially deleted, I choose green one, got illusive suicide, anderson died next to me from the bullet I shotted, and in the end it was simple, EDI and Geth must survive too Legio deserve it, miranda never loved me I just saw her twice and never got the chance to tell her come girl give some love she was always far from me, the mass relays destroyed without killing anyone I dont buy that, but ok it is possible new life synthetic life, garrus and tali together, jacob becoming a father. My shep died without any doubts but what about destroy my dreams, it was in the end,  my shep's soul was finally broken.... WHY???? the voice was lifeless, I know the blood thing and bla bla bla, but not even somethinglike f--- you I made this far and you tell that is unstoppable... what the h--------, destroying the spirit of the character is worst than killing it... it has to be another way.... ending DLC..... is required.

Robotic Mech company reporting

PLUS I will get the insanity acchivement with my adept shep and my blue babies...

So well put!  But I don't think we have to worry, a mod moved this thread to a different subforum 2 days ago and the outcry we made ended in them moving this thread moved back to this forum.  I don't think they would risk that backlash again.

Exactly. The romance subplot in ME3 was definitely my favorite of all the ME games, and it was amazing. Also, the characters have more natural movements and facial expressions, so it made it so much better and cuter. It was well written, and the goodbyes right before the final battle made me cry...:crying:
My mom and I were crying together (yes, I played ME3 with my mom sitting on the couch behind me...the beauty of being on spring break from college)

Agreed, the romance with Shep's LI was very well done in ME3. It really makes it that much harder to try and accept the ending choices offered to us.

I'm not all that bothered by the ending, but then again indifference is said to be worse that hate. Hell even if Shep just pressed a button and died in the LI's arms I'd feel something. Pretty much shouted no at the game the whole time i was playing it, mordin, thane, legion, kal'regar (spelt it wrong i know), when grunt fell of the cliff with the ravager (silly me doubting him). All moved me and if i hadn't been surrounded by my brothers id have cried like a baby. Loved how they died but cursed them all for it to. So if you are gonna kill him off at least do it right.

I'm not assuming they're trolling, I meant I was hoping this is all some cruel joke and there's a "real" ending being planned already.

Gotta say, there were plenty of emotionally wrenching moments in this game before the endings. If these endings were conceived purely to drive home the despair of the situation, they come off as little more than contrivance for the sake of contrivance.

I do think it's a good idea guys and girls; that while you're on this thread that you let Bioware know that we don't hate the game. Most of us love the entire game, only we were let down by the endings. Let them know their work is appreciated, just that the ending makes the games lose the beauty and wonder that they had.

Awww....

I would wish to have that kind of relationship with my family.
But well... I still love them, regardless of what they think of me.

Enjoy and appreciate what you have because it's something beatiful and when things are gone is when we realize that we haven't done enough.

And now I'm crying again. Haha I sound like masochist right now.

There were tons of times when I cried in ME3. They made this an emotional game. It was the most amazing game I've ever played... Right up until the last five minutes. My only problem is the ending. And when my FemShep said her good bye to Liara... And Liara gave her that gift and the kiss... I cried harder than at any point in the rest of the game. It was so touching.

Numbers get things done. If I didn't have these forums I'd be pretty depressed right now. But the more people who join the better chance we have. I still have hope because I know people who love this series as much as I do will fight like hell to get a proper end to this trilogy.
