i got to the point of having to chose between the 3 endings and i just exited the game.......all 3 of them suck. ill just load from a previous save if BW decides to fix this...

Yea, I don't want to hear it either. I'm trying to keep my hopes up, just not too high, don't need to be broken hearted over this game twice. I'm sure they're just thinking of what to say, and hopefully coming up with some ideas to fix things up.

I don't think I'll even want to do that... my Shepard is permanently tainted. I started a new one in ME1 already. At least I can enjoy the first two games...

A fan-made ending I created to replace the one Bioware used to taint an
otherwise epic game. Hopefully others enjoy this as much as I do! I did
the best with what resources I could use to make it.

I imagined
this taking place right after Shepard and Anderson were sitting down
looking at Earth, replacing the rest of the game after it. Still shows
reapers getting defeated (relays and citadel intact), some squad talk,
and something of a conclusion. Also means the galaxy is not screwed
nearly as bad as it was in the end of the original game.

That is a bittersweet ending I would have supported. My Shepard wanted to have little blue babies with Liara (and Kaiden died on Virmire because I thought he was bland), but that one still brought a tear to my eye. If BioWare made a similar one, they could add a little extra recapping of the players' actions and consequences, but without their resources it would be hard to do for a fan ending.

My impression BTW is BioWarу simply ran out of time and was forced to rush the ending. But i doubt the were expecting sh*tstorm of this magnitude. So still there is hope for some sort of fix.

If they weren't expecting this much outcry then they really need to have a reality check...

Same here. It just left me all shook up and sad, really sad. I know it's just a video game but I felt that I have personalised the story and the hero. 

It might be all the practice I've had ignoring Alien^3 and Alien: Resurrection.

That was the intention of ME, to make u feel connected to your shepard, and they did it perfectly, right uptil the end

Considering how much they talked about closure to shepards story, the ending/epilogue seems like a strange place to decide to leave out content because of time restraints.

100 years later, Liara tells the little blue babie  "This was your father"  was much better than that damned grandfather!

I would expect them to expect this responce from fans, people have become attached to shepard over the years and literally everything you've done from day one is for nothing. They couldn't seriously expect us to be happy with this?

Exactly, even I was surprised at just how much the ending affected me. The whole story really had an impact on me though, when Mordin died... wow. Sad thing is, if not for the ending, I would love to play through the whole series about 10 more times, seeing all the various romances and such, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet. I've actually been cheating and watching the romances and such on youtube just so I don't have to reinvest myself.

The real ending should be destroying the catalyst. Because **** that little demon, That way Reapers die and your choices still mean something. Shepard still dies but I'm okay with that.

Agreed, I really have no problem with Shepard dying, I just want him to die for a true victory, not some Pyrrhic "win".

My intention was to love this series forever. 20 years from now I'd still play it, I wanted to play it at least once a year. Thinking ah what a great series it's so different every time I play. Thinking what little new thing will pop up this time, what's the little thing I missed last time, what happens if I choose this instead of that... and what romance do I want to see Shapard with in the end. I would love endings with each romance, it would add soooo muuuch replay value... At least making a new ending would make it replayable at all.

Very much this, I wanted a game to finally replace the Baldurs Gate series as my yearly RPG. Sadly, its not going to happen unless things change.

I read the 'hallucination' theory and think it is completely true. I didn't even think about Shepherd's dreams and the Shadows whispering until then....Byne, pure genius.

The deep breath you take at the very end of the red ending is Shepherd waking up after having the hell knocked out of him by Harbinger. Read the post thoroughly, it explains everything. I firmly believe that Bioware just mind-f____d us. If I am wrong, forgive me, but it explains the nonsense ending options perfectly.

Not to hard to covince oneself when you dont give a crap. But perhaps thats just my common sense/cynical side talking again. Unless their bottom lines go down...then they *may* care. Even then i highly doubt it.
