I find it quite suprising, that some of you want to actually PAY for the ending.

its because despiration has set in, and we know that bioware wouldnt release a story DLC for free, so what else is there, we will all hate that we have to buy it to play it, but we will do it anyway

Will I be happy about it? No. Will I forgive Bioware entirely? No. But that doesn't matter. More than any personal vendetta or issues of pride, I just want to put these 5 years to rest. I feel like the wound is still open, and I certainly don't feel like my adventure has ended.

It's not that we WANT to, we are just willing to if that's what it takes.

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be another ****storm, like after Day1 DLC, when they actually release the proper ending.

This exactly. I will hate myself for it and wish that companies would do things for the benefit of others and not just the almighty $, but I would still buy it.

We struggled and struggled and struggled, and when we won, we still lost.  Again, that is a theme I would've been fine with.  I like Noir, I like dystopia- but only if it makes sense.  Watching the end of this game was like rereading the Ender series, but with the ending ripped out and replaced w/ something by George Orwell.

This sums it up very nicely. Dystopian tragedies can be great where they belong, but you don't attach this kind of thing at the end of a 100+ hour space war fantasy, especially following the immense build-up of hope directly preceding the ending. Or at least, you don't FORCE it onto every player.

Well said.  I really did enjoy this game, I was in it, planning what my next play through would be like before I even beat that's how excited I was, and then the last 10 minutes happened.  I'm so depressed I won't be able to play it again for a bit.

lets send the reapers to BW and have them turned into Husks :)

No, let's send some fleets to EA. They obviously hid a reaper in Bioware's basement and indoctrinated them.

I can see where Shepard won in some intellectual way. He got to the end, he made the ultimate sacrifice. But...it just doesn't feel right. Especially that the whole Galaxy is disconnected now. What about the fleets stranded in Sol, all the Turians, Quarians, Salarians, Krogan who'll never be back home...?

Not only will they never get home, they'll have to fight for every last shred of resources found in their vicinity, which just happens to be earth. Chase off one pack of wolves, only to be devoured by the packs you used to defeat them. Way to save the day, starchild. You little punk.

My fear...for me Bioware respondes:

Mass Effect 3 has sold 3.5 million copies
20000 fans complain about the final
We had said that the ending would have disappointed some players
3.5 million - t20000 = 3.48 milion, the endig game remains so, sorry

What.

I just ran a poll down in Texas. I sampled 20,000 people. 18,000 people were voting Republican. Therefore (Texas Population) - 18000 = # of Democratic voters.

What.

You also have to take into account the people who haven't finished the game, don't have BSN accounts, or don't even know the BSN exists. The game has been out 6 days in America, 3(I think) in Europe. The fact that in such a short amount of time, where probably only a couple hundred thousand people have finished the game, has already snowballed into the most widely voted on poll and one of the largest threads on BSN, speaks for itself. Give it time, and the numbers will only continue growing.

In regards to paying for a new ending DLC, yes I would pay for it, and then after that I refuse to give Bioware another cent regardless of how good the new endings are, but that's just me.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 was awesome, Dragon Age 1 was pretty decent. Dragon Age 2 was for me a very bad game, it made me fear for mass effect 3. I got mass effect 3 thought, OMG IT IS STILL AMAZING WOOOO.
Got to the end, saw the end.

Now all I can think is, can't trust BW anymore.

It could have been worse, what if Shepard was some insane guy in a mental hospital and the entire Mass Effect series was just his fantasy world... :D

I didn't like the ending choices either, but I went with Synthesis.
