They did. They also said that Bioware could very easily make a DLC but it wouldn't be free. A lot of people agree on the fact they'd pay for it so that point is moot.

I would. I would love for it to be free, but if I have to pay for it, I will be mad but I will pay. As long as they promise it is a way better ending dlc. As in "we explain everything and you have the choice to have a REAL happy ending" dlc.

And it also seems like they just said we are a minority and we are hating on a product we have played for many years. 1)No, we are not the minority, we're probably the majority (a lot of people haven't finished their game yet)
2) We don't hate the game; we hate the stupid ending. Two different things.

That is seriously ridiculous if that was cut from the game! Because that right there is how you end a game and give it an emotional response from the gamer, not some red, green or blue light!

No one here is spewing any hatred, that's absolute BS. It makes me angry seeing stuff like this.
Then again, Kotaku is the company that defended the Razer Blade and attacked PC gamers for slowing down the gaming industry.

The problem here is the lack of explanation from the guys who wrote the story! If they came here and said why they made this choice, maybe we'd shut up about it.

I don't know what the hell is going on with Bioware. But after the (horrible) ending, the dev's cryptic comments and all the speculation, I'm starting to hope the ****storm will be big enough to change something. There's no flexibility in these endings, at all.

Is it just me, or the endings remind me of Deus Ex? Even in their execution, they look similar.

I mean, if the endings were just meh, there would usually be a split down the middle of the fanbase. EVERYONE is disappointed with these. That is when you know something is wrong and with a forum (that had become) as caustic as this one banding together, BioWare better perk up their ears.

I heard if you take to long deciding how you want to die, the crucible gets destroyed. So now the endings make even less sense.

Kotaku often just makes articles about something they don't even bother looking into. All he saw was 20k votes against the ending for a game that sold 3.5 million and thinks minority.

As for if DLC is free or not, I'd prefer free ofc, but would end up paying if it costs... BUT I'd probaly ban Bioware and/or other EA games. Depending on who is to blame.

What right does someone have to demand changes to the end of a story they did not write—and as this would, assuredly, be released as downloadable content—expect all of that labor for free? Because they'll refuse to endorse a product they've already bought?

When was the last time a major gaming site had to pay full price for a game?  You pay $60-$80 and then tell us you don't feel cheated.
