Know what? I hope so, too. I would really like EA/Bioware to be trying to get more money out of me for a DLC that fixes this. Because, boy, they are going to get that money.
It's a plot, it's incredibly clever, and it'll pay off in the end. Think about it, they test this method on the most anticipated game of the year, a game that is CERTAIN to generate interest in DLCs. If this works out here, they'll do it for other games. Game over for us gamers, for 60 bucks, you now get a demo, if you like it, you pay and get more. That's how it'll be from now on..
That's the thing about emotional blackmail - it works. It works so well that I want to be blackmailed, here. Even if it isn't true (and I suspect not), I want it.
How messed up is that?
