Do you guys use this thread as a sort of support group to fight the dark depression building inside you? Because I do. Knowing so many of you share my passion and feel the same emotional connection to this really does wonders for me.

Thank you to every one of you who has posted here

I think that's the beauty of this community and this thread.  We all help pick each other up.  No one gets left behind.  I know that's how I feel.

I'm expecting to have to wait like a year for new endings. Which would really really suck...

This is a possibility unless BW knew something like this would happen and already have the real endings set up as DLC.

Comes equiped with real ending and a real prologue.

Even if they expected it it doesn't mean they were working on anything... sigh

I would rather it have been delayed again.

Yeah, I wasn't too upset when it got delayed the first time due to the fact that I expected only the best form Bioware.  Then I got shafted on all my decisions at the end.  I can wait for new endings (altough I would rather now) as long as they announce it sometimes soon.  Then I may be able to sleep at night.

It's one of the only things that has made me feel a bit better.  That and going out on a picnic on this, the first gorgeous day of the year.

This thread and making myself do mundane chores I normally wouldnt want to do... are the only things keeping me together right now to be honest.

You guys are just mad because shephard dies. Allthough the endings are extremely laze made, almost identical cinematics.

not mad that shepherd died more mad that there is no real way for sepherd to live and the lack of a what came next CGI or text box also a little pissed that there is no way to get the good shep kinda lives ending without MP.

Good too know that I am not the only one.  I almost never clean.  Probally couldn't find dust with a microscope now.

I agree, Jennifer Hales voice acting was superb. One of the best things in the game.

One of my roommates finished the game today. And he was very confused the rest of the day. I hope he is better, after some hours of sleep.
All this here is a small therapy for me. When he isn't better tomorrow I'll give him this 780++ pages of therapy material ;)

Pity, I can't enjoy her. I was planning to use my Gabriella Shepard as second playthrough, but then...

I think it's interesting how many times I have read "give us a better dlc ending, we'll pay for it" because it sort of goes against the videogame norm. Usually when a fandom is scorned they act out angrily but in this instance the injustice done has rendered everyone in such a state of crippling depression we've become almost desperate. I mean I could have easily seen this become pitchforks threatening to burn down bioware Edmonton if DLC was not provided for free and with haste but that doesn't seem to be the case. Perhaps I've just not been lurking hard enough, maybe a lot of angry people are threatening to never play the bioware games again or what have you but I haven't seen a lot of it.

Yeah, several of my fraternity brothers are playing though right now.  When they asked me how it was (had not finished yet) I told them "This game is literally the best game ever made.  You will be blown away".

I am not looking forward to the apology I need to give them when they finish.

There've been those people. Generally though, we're genial and just want a conclusion. I myself am in the camp of not wanting to give BioWare any more money than I already have if this is never fixed. And I'm iffy on the subject of giving them MORE money to fix the ending. But that's just me, and I don't represent everyone else.

I hate sitting here thinking that ending scene with the Normandy was because Joker, EDI (because obviously she's the Normandy), and Garrus are all dead and that was just showing them in the "afterlife". I'm going to keep staring at those indoctrination theories instead.

I must say I am a huge fan of ME3 and I can only say positive things about this entire game right up until the ending. This game was just beautiful for me from start until finish. I just really don't like how I brought Kaidan with me in the final bits and then all of a sudden he is on the Normandy racing away from the fight. I mean even if Shepard was knocked out on Earth by Harbinger he is still an alliance soldier and he would never have run away from the fight with soldiers still battling it out on Earth. For me it's just the whole Normandy thing crash landing with him coming out of the cockpit tha tleaves me confused and a bit upset. I could have been perfectly happy with getting the "good" ending with destroying the reapers, having my Shepard alive and knowing that there was a possibility of coming through it with Kaidan still on Earth ... Like I said I am still a huge fan of this series and this has got to be the best form of media I have ever experienced, but I don't think I should be so confused over this ending and having to "head cannon" things to make it right.

That's because there is so much to love in the ME series. We WANT to think that this is a huge money grab, mistake, or somehow EA's fault, and that it will eventually be fixed. Because without that hope, countless days, weeks even, of playtime, are essentially shat on. We need the hope of a fix, of a DLC, of something to change this godawful mess, because without it, all three games lost essentially all replayability.

I personally am going with the hallucination theory.  Makes sense with human pyshcology.  And helps me sleep at night.  That too.

I got it, there's should be three endings:

True Paragon: sacrifice yourself for destruction of reapers and save the future of the galaxy and your crew especially;

Neutral: discard reapers and stay alive with your friends and LI, and wait 'em after another cycle

True Renegade: reapers actually right about singularity and all space-travelling races have to be destroyed

And after that PLAYABLE epilogue (not dumb slideshows or tiny text windows)
