I think it's interesting how many times I have read "give us a better dlc ending, we'll pay for it" because it sort of goes against the videogame norm. Usually when a fandom is scorned they act out angrily but in this instance the injustice done has rendered everyone in such a state of crippling depression we've become almost desperate. I mean I could have easily seen this become pitchforks threatening to burn down bioware Edmonton if DLC was not provided for free and with haste but that doesn't seem to be the case. Perhaps I've just not been lurking hard enough, maybe a lot of angry people are threatening to never play the bioware games again or what have you but I haven't seen a lot of it.
Pfft, makes perfect sense. We're grieving. It's been a couple of days now - we've made it through Denial and Anger already and have arrived at Bargaining. I hope I don't hit Depression in the middle of my workday tomorrow.
More seriously though, I think the almost shocking civility and willingness to be reasonable is a testament to the depth of the problem, and also how specific is. This is an excellent game, but for some incomprehensible reason, the last fifteen minutes and
only the last fifteen minutes are shockingly bad. People aren't angry, they're hurt, and we don't want to punish Bioware, we just want them help us fix this.
