I would encourage everyone to actually write a letter and send it to Bioware. Showing them you care enough to take the time (and money) to send them a physical message will only add to our message, not detract.

Excellent idea. Any idea of an address?

Yes, mail letters, folks. If you take the time to put something to paper and pay for it to be sent, it only conveys you're serious about your opinions.

Mailing Address:
BioWare Edmonton
200-4445 Calgary Trail NW
Edmonton AB Canada T6H 5R7

Thankies, going to work on my letter ASAP.

+1 this and a text box update an my crew is all I want.

Screw text box, I want cut scenes showing something like a 2min scene of each survivor "getting on with life".

This includes, but is not limited to:
Anderson (option to save him; like...make a paragon check to resist the mind control)
Hackett
Normandy Crew (including Squadmates; includes EDI)
Wrex
Grunt
Female Krogan
Jacob (like a scene in the hospital with mom and baby; something sappy :P)
Legion (doesn't appear to be a squadmate)
Council (we still need a Human Rep! i vote Shepard)
Bailey (that dude deserves a vacation)
Miranda
Jack
...heck I'll say "notable war assets" to keep the list short.

And most importantly. I want to have a 3min+ cutscene of me (Shepard; male in this case) sitting at my desk (Capt'n Cabin) reading a report of how "we're" (Interstellar Council thingy) is rebuilding and dealing with raiders and such. When Tali (no suit; standard clothing) comes in and pulls me away to bed saying how it can wait till morning. And after a good-night kiss turn off the light only to have the intercom go off.

Something like this...
Joker: Sorry to wake you Comma...sorry Captain (or what every the next rank above Commander is). Still can't get use to that. But I've got Hackett on the line, he says it's urgent.

Shepard: Understood.

Tali: ...the job of a hero.

Shepard: ..is never over.

Even if they do make a DLC or a patch fixing the end, it will take a couple of months until we see it, which is kinda depressing.

Unless of course they`ve already been working on one and this was all planned,(theres a faithfully naive part of me that believes that)

Same. I keep hoping this is all some kind of attempt at a global anti-spoiler scheme, getting people to finish the game and after X amount of time, an update is applied and the real endings are given to us.

I kinda wanna believe that too, maybe because it means that this nightmare will end soon. But i will be pretty pissed off for the fact that they were just mocking us.

A little note... First DLC will be a multiplayer map pack that's called Resurgence, I'm told.

First DLC is MP content. :|

...Seriously. Wow. Fail Bioware, just fail.

Well they shouldn't be suprised when the DLC does't sell well...

I know this would happen instead of quaility DLC we get Map packs that could've been cut from any battle in ME3.

Disappointing to say the least. I played through ME -> ME 2 four times and had the intention of doing as many play throughs in ME 3. At this point, I'm going to stop after the first one. 99% of the game is fantastic and it was completely ruined by the last five minutes. Three endings, basically the same crap, with the same outcome. Not the proper send off this trilogy deserves. I didn't expect "The Shawshank Redemption" levels of closure, but this was just utter crap.

OMG!! I DID SEE A CHANGE!!! After my hard work, instead of dying to the Harvester, Cortez managed to land safely!!

A small change, but a change nonetheless.

Wait Cortez can be saved please tell. I did not think that was possible.

Yeah. You need to talk to him a bit. At one point, you'll meet him in the Docking Bay Holding Area at the Memorial Wall. You'll get to talk to him. If you're supportive with him, so that he can move on from his husband's death, and then move on to the end game, he survives instead of dying when the Harvester attacks. Safe landing and all that.

The problem with the re-tweeted comments was that the original commenter compared the wrong series. This isn't a Gatsby or Max Payne ending we're talking about, this is a Matrix Revolutions, Kane and Lynch 2 or Lost style of ending. Some of the creative decisions are actually reminicent of Greedo Shot First and Walkie-talkies Instead of Guns.

Spielberg was mature enough to admit that the Walkie-talkies were a mistake. He could swallow his own well deserved ego. Those re-tweets are simply insulting and indicative that Bioware is headed down the George Lucas path of egotistic denial. It's a sad day.

Just so you know, that wasn't a true comment. Resurgence was a map pack for Modern Warfare 3.

Heh, just out of complete morbid curiosity I called my local EB where I went to a midnight launch for ME3.
Apparently a few copies have been returned for a full refund.
Even tho the store rep couldn't bad mouth it, he dropped hints that he wasn't impressed either.

I know Ben, he is a joking kind of guy. He was serious in the first one. The other two was him just trying to be funny.

I don't think the demands are ridiculous by the majority of the members here. I think a lot of us just want your choices to not be forsaken by the ending and have the ability to truly live.

The only hope I have left is that the Stargazer/Child scene where they talk about "one more story of the Shepard" is the events following the "Shepard lives" cutscene, and perhaps the Normandy can still save Shepard.

ive been following this since i beat the game a few days ago and was disapointed with the ending,
no choice no argueing with the kid nothing i (shep) just stood there acepted what the kid said then fliped a coin heads or tails all the same . then i started seeing the dream ideas and all of the citdel was the reapers attempt to indoctinate him. i can see that blue or green would be giving into the reapers and loseing , only when you resist and destory em do you see shep wake up on earth ,
i started a new play through and its true no one but shep ever notices the kid 10 adults on the escape pod and a soldier infront of the door and no one leans down to help the kid in,
ppl being indoctrinated see things , so it all being a dream could make sense joker normendy and the old man and kid after the credits still dont make sense

ive voted , ive posted , ive joined the facebook page not much else i can do but wait and hope BW hears us , and does something

This whole hallucination ending is just... it just makes sense.
Is BioWare really this tricky?
But still, the ending sucks regardless if this theory is true.

Lol I got that game for free with Deus Ex: HR. I don't think it had enough of a plot for the ending to mean anything.

Not quite true. Chris Priestly tweeted earlier about reading enough BSN posts that his heart is sick and his soul is dead. And he has a headache.

Hey everyone, don't forget about the PAX East Platoon! Those who are attending or who would like to support us in spirit, please join the group at http://social.bioware.com/group/7049/ and get involved with planning and a discussion.

We will let BioWare know, in person, that we care about the ending. But we can't be disruptive to the event at large or the panel in particular, just wouldn't be fair to the other attendees. Still, we need a plan of action and a list of questions. Maybe even some T-Shirts to order/distribute to show our solidarity.

Join the group here: http://social.bioware.com/group/7049/

Well it is the weekend, they probably took some time off after the stress of releasing the game, but when everyone's back to work in the morning and they see what's been going on here, oh boy. Something very important is going to happen very soon, I'm sure. No matter how they respond to this, good or bad, its going to affect how a lot of people see them.

$500 they had a DLC lined up to "finish the fight" (hey...Halo was good). And are gauging the fanbase to see if they should charge or release it as a "you thought it would be that easy?".

Think about it. If they charged...how many farming goods stores would be getting a run on pitchforks?
