I sure hope he is reading it. The rage is amost to wild fire proportions. They need damage control now before this really takes off on the social networks. Cause then other media will report on whats happening and at that point you have a whole new set of problems.

I can only add to this threat and agree most of my fellow ME fans.

Without offendind anyone, I have to say that i feel ****ed. No lube and no pretty talk.

I played over 160 h ME 1 ... exploring, creating my perfect paragon char and a perfect renegade.
I played over 140 h ME 2 ... some story. I loved the depth of my characters and of course I got every DLC I could get my hand on.

And then they dare to present a loyal community - willing and able to pay - such monstosity.

I am not complaining about clipping issues, great looking amor as long as you dont move, the lack of mini games, the issue of scanning solar systems and installed fail safe if a reaper catches you. I am not complaining of getting a worse "upgraded" Normandy (in ME2 my Normandy had 1500 fuel ^^) or the ignornace of my robotic dog, the missing medals in my private room to see my achievements and so on.
I was thrilled to see all my loved co-stars again and to learn what happend to them.

At my first playthrough I got 100%, galactic readiness at 90% and over 7500 war assets. I was a hero! I cured the genophage, i made peace between synthetics and some other great deeds.
Only to have a kid explain me, that he is the matrix, and whatever i choose doesnt matter. Blue pill, green pill or red pill...

I will not believe that this is it. I am dissapointed, but I would buy as well the Ending DLC to satisfy my needs.
I want to see baby wrexes crawling over dead reaper corpses.

Pretty sure they have atleast one person monitoring just this thread alone. Sometimes there are 4 new posts a minute here xD Atleast for me, I just hope that my voice will be heard, that's my I'm doing this. I normally wouldn't bother with stuff like this, but I love Mass Effect, and now I'm using my whole day on pressing F5 in this topic.

If we get new improved endings I'd like to think that I had some hand it in, and for me, would be one of the proudest things I have done :)
So I would recommend anybody to voice their opinion as much as they can, for then you can be sure it'll be heard.

Just keep it civil :D

WOW.  That amount of rage in that amount of time is not good. If the powers thatbe at EA and Bioware aren't reading these numbers then they are slipping hardcore!

The sad thing is: when you look at his Twitter-account, he always gets tweets like "Awesome game dude" and "You did a great job there". Hardly a tweet about the ending.
We all know the game is great but the ending destroys 5 years of gaming-history.

Bioware won't feel the need to admit anything is wrong until their sales start missing their forecasts (or sales start tanking in the event they projected it would tank).  So we should pay attention to their sales numbers.  The only place I found which has good data is VGChartz.com.  It apparently shows sales from RETAILERS as opposed to COPIES SHIPPED to retailers, which is the number EA likes to report but is meaningless because anyone can "stuff" the pipeline with product or force vendors to carry inventory to boost sales.  The automakers do "channel stuffing" this all the time.  Also these numbers might not be correct on an absolute basis but they are good to compare on a relative basis, which is all we need.

For reference here is the history of first 10 weeks of ME and ME2 sales.

Image IPB

Pretty easy to see the first game spread heavily through word of mouth, and everyone who enjoyed it pre-ordered for ME2.  Then ME2 sales dropped sharply as everyone who wanted it bought it quickly.  We should expect ME3 numbers to be higher than ME2 sales due to all the BS marketing and stunts.

Here is the history of DA:O and DA:2 sales (same Y axis scale).  This was an interesting case because not everyone who enjoyed DA:O bought DA2 once word got out that it might suck.  But notice the huge dropoff.

Image IPB

I'll try to keep an eye out for ME3 numbers when they become available.  But again pay little attention to the "we sold X units" claims by EA because it is the retail sales which matter, not sales to the retailers.

[*]We have to assume that the Relays did not detonate like they did in Arrival, they merely just 'self-destructed' on a smaller scale. It would make no sense for them to detonate AND wipe out entire systems. Fingers crossed the galaxy can figure out how to speed up FTL!!! :(

I literally just finished the game an hour ago. I was seriously inconsolable for half an hour... =(

I've avoided these forums for the past two weeks to avoid spoilers so I had no idea what the popular opinion of the end game was. Wow. Seems like everyone feels like I do...

I love the Mass Effect series, and have never had a single complaint. And with ME3, everything was perfect. The friendships, and especially the romances were incredible. Loved seeing Shepard rekindle her romance with Kaidan! The missions, reveals, all the tough calls were amazing. But the ending was so upsetting! Any one of the three options, especially for long time fans, are heartbreaking... What happens to Shepard now?..

After 3 games and 5 years of falling in love with Shepard and her crew, there's no closure. And the ME universe as we know it ceases to exist... What was the point in any of this? No option really feels like a victory =(

Problem is that it's not explained, thus we have to make assume what we already know "Relays that blows up is equal to what of a supernova" One of my biggest issues with the current ending we have, nothing is explained. Thus leaving us with all these lovely plotholes.

The endings almost seem like the writer was thinking, screw every1! Every1 must see how dark life is and that nothing can ever go right, no matter what you do everything will go badly.

Isn't that a great message to send to a bunch of gamers, whatever you do everything will just suck...

When Forbes is publishing about how your upsetting your fan base, "all the greatgame dude" go out the window.

If you didn't know Forbes published an article questing Bioware actions toward its fanbase. The article is about  "from the ashes".  However, it questions Biowares approach to its fanbase.

Never go full retard.

Semi-on-topic...

The signature pictures might disappear in a bit.

I need to correct @RetakeMassEffect with @RetakeME3

Photobuckets servers are slow and I need to actually see them disappear before I can re-upload to fix the error.

Thank you moteh for bringing this to my attention!

I would like to point everyone to the bink video player that allows you to play the .bik files in your mass effect 3/BIOgame/Movies folder

Now everyone, download the player and go through the movies in the folder, and see if any of the movies weren't used in the game. I'd love to know how many of the files that are in there never are never shown in the game

I would like to have a choice.
Otherwise, it all makes no sense.
The ending is actually the only one. Whatever we do. ((((((
We have left no choice.
Missing the meaning of trying to change anything in the game and play again (((((((
Very-very-very sad... (((((((((

Here are a couple posts from a Bioware facebook post. It's funny, Bioware puts up yet another puff post about some ME3 gimmick and instead of the usual "Can't wait good job BW!" posts, it just rains people pissed off at the ending.

But here are what they are saying. Anyone know what the heck they are talking about? Surely this isn't the whole "hallucination" or "teach you what indoctrination feels like" ****** camps.

"I get the feeling that if the main theory floating out there is actually true, the lot of you are going to owe Bioware for an apology."

"I was genuinely frustrated with the ending until I realized what you did. Now I feel like I've been a part of one of the most intricate pranks ever conceived. You guys are geniuses!"

I'd have mixed feelings about it, I'd think at some level it's cool done, and would love the extra Mass Effect content I would get. But at the same time, I'd take it as the biggest slap to my face ever.

They have completely taken the replay value out of this game.... Actually the whole series. I always replay a game within a day or so of beating it just in case I missed anything. Couldn't do it with ME3, started my 2nd playthrough and 20 minutes into I said to myself "what the h*** is the point? It's all going to end the same crappy way." So I thought I'll replay ME1 and ME2 and guess what... Came to the same conclusion as ME3.... "whats the freaking point!"
