well DA2 was not that bad the only beef i had wit that game were the copy paste interiors of the dungeons.

DA2 wasn't that bad. The whole game was different from DA:O and the characters were knew. So, if you didn't like it, you probably didn't like the whole thing and there was nothing bioware could do to fix it (besides releasing a better DA3)
But ME3...well, ME3 was great 99.5% of the time...and they can make it 100% by fixing the stupid ending.

It doesn't one-shot them on all difficulty settings, at least in a video I watched. It could be an M-77 Paladin
(from the Spectre store). It's one strong pistol. That's the only gun I was carrying at the time and I didn't notice a swap. It doesn't explain the infinite ammo, though.

After five years and hundreds of hours gaming, waiting for an end that would make me proud, happy and satisfied, I literrally cried out of disappointment when I finished ME3.

Please BioWare, don't let it end like this. Retake Mass Effect.

I keep trying not to get excited about that apparent dev that talked about the DLC on the 10th, because the DLC he outlined sounded like it could be our life line... I'm trying so hard to tell myself it isn't true and that it was just someone trying to get our hopes up, but there's just the slimmest chance that it could be genuine.

Eugh my feelings.

What was said?

I can't take the credit at all, I found a Tumblr post where someone had posted it. Sorry if this has already been talked about, I did a quick check and couldn't see anything about it though. The link to the Tumblr post is here: http://allofmyfeels....make-me-calm-my

I'd post the screenshot that was posted with it but I'm at work at the moment and can't get onto tinypic to upload it, but the screenshot of the 'dev' telling us about the dlc is right there in the link.

What do you think? I'm 99.9% sure it's someone having us on who's is trying their best to sound genuine, but if it's real... you guys, oh my gosh.

P.S. Sorry I don't know how to do sexy links :(

Hm...4chan...it could be right or wrong. I've seen a post there tell the truth about ME3 ending as I've sene it tell a lie, so...let's wait and see.
And out of curiosity: has this post been taken down already? Because if it has, the chances that it is real is higher than if it hasn't...

4chan .... can't decide if I'm  or  because it's either true or not. And it would mean they want to make more money from me instead of giving me the "right" ending right away for the money I already paid them <_<.

All I wanted was to kick the reapers in the daddy bags, save the galaxy, then reunite with my friends and LI, be a hero to all, and settle down on Rannoch with Tali and have a nice happy life. Was that too much to ask for Bioware? I mean I have been playing ME since day one, I played ME1 6 times (3 on normal, 3 on insane), ME2 5 times (all 5 on insane), and invested a good 180-220 hours into this series. Trying to make every right choice, doing all the good i could for Shepard (Saved Ash, the council, Anderson as councilor, reprogrammed geth, destroyed collector base, everyone survived the suicide mission, Saved Tali from Exile, researched everything, gained as much military force as possible in ME3, brought peace to the geth and Quarians, etc, etc.) ANd all it came down to was three choices that felt the same, just with a different color...really? that's it?

I mean I was disappointed with how DA2 ended, it was a good game for the most part but compared to Origins it was less than stellar. But I had hoped that they would at least have learned from their mistake and given you more than a few options on how the series should end.

This is a series of games, that was supposed to be shaped by how we play it, how we go through the game. In the end all of our morale choices were supposed to determine how the Galaxy ends. Whether it is saved, or destroyed is up to you. I mean that's what they promised us from day one right? that all our choices big or small would impact the game.

Disappointing...very disappointing. I honestly felt like it was going to make a difference until the last 10 minutes hit. I hope they rectify this mistake with dlc like fallout 3 did, but for now I reject Bioware's reality and substitute it with my own. To me, I kicked harbingers ass, saved the galaxy, became a living legend, stepped back on the normandy with all my friends, crew, and my LI. then settled down on Rannoch with Tali, and had a nice life. END...

Really though, in essence no matter how many forces you bring with you, or how hard you work to get what you want in the end, you still get the same endings as if you had brought no-one along. No matter what happens, all Mass Relays are gone, your squad (with who you bring mysteriously appearing on the normandy after getting blasted by a laser) is stranded on a tropical planet and nobody gets the ending they want.

Everything we do, everyone we save, has utterly no purpose or meaning in the end, because everyone loses everything anyways, all the effort to do good on rannoch, with the krogans (to give them their future) and all that work around the galaxy, doesn't yield anything other than a "everything you just did has no purpose because they're all going to die" video.

Long term, no option is good, and no option is bad. all three options are a kick in the balls to anyone who likes the franchise, now everything we did or will do for the last 5 years is gone. There's never going to be a Mass Effect 4, I'll never see the Krogans thrive among the galaxy, the Quarians live in peace on Rannoch, the Turians remain on Palaven in peace, the batarians become a government once again, Aria take back Omega, or anyone ever see each other again in the end. It's not three bad endings, it's three swift and sharp denials of us ever seeing anything we did bear fruit. All we will ever see in the future is things before the war and more options to help people (who will never get their peace because we are not given an option to keep everything as it is)

Slightly off topic: If you survived the laser, then where did harbinger go? Wouldn't all the reapers still be guarding the portal into the citadel?

I stayed up late as hell playing ME3 last night, just to try and finish the game.

I was sort of passing in and out of sleep, while playing, the loud sounds from the game would startle me enough, just to wake me fully for a few seconds. I'm not sure I finished it or not,

I remember something like a dream, where a laser nearly hit me and all my expensive armor was blown off Shepard. Somehow I used a pistol that I never carry, to one shot some reaper soldiers, those same soldiers, that in all other instances of the game, required tons of shots from an assault rifle to take down.

I then was teleported up a beam of light to see a ton of carcasses, completely out of place on the Citadel. Anderson was also ported up, but I never saw him near me back at the beam on Earth.

Anderson somehow approached the control room of the Citadel and was always ahead of me, although when I reached the platform there was only ONE way to walk out onto it, and that was from the direction of which I had walked.

I was standing on the Citadel with some AI child, that was trying to get me to believe it was the Catalyst. I was outside, yet breathing air. Oh yeah, let me mention I got up to this area from a chunk of the floor that had levitation capability and it flew me up like a magic carpet.

I was given a couple choices, limp left and pull a level or limp right and shoot some wires.

Both resulted in a big boom, bright lights and the end of the conflict... or at least that is what was rendered on my LCD monitor.

Is that it?

Yep. Hence why everyone is NOT HAPPY...

Funny is, that some of his arguements don't match with their test of ME3.

well, i am about as far in as the second mission (the one to the salarian homeworld) from the demo (the first being the escape from our beloved earth...were i found the vid really bad, i mean the normandy hovers there and the reapers do not seem to care, but those small shuttles that take refugees and people from headquarters on, those are shut down like clay pidgeons on a shooting range...*shakes his head*...i would have rather head the normandy charge in guns blazing (well it destroyed the batarian husks, but still it did not fire on the reapers in the area), scooping sheppard up and then hightailing out of there, with still firing guns and the reapers trying to shoot it down!))

and i do not seem to able to go on (i play for a few minutes at a time, but i can't play for hours on end like with ME1 and 2) with these endings....

Hell, i think the endings are what makes it worse, but it is not just that, it is that stupid crucible (i hate deus ex machina and that is one IMHO)...that brakes the game for me, because, face it:

the whole galaxy together should be able to dismantle the reapers!

why?

because in the past they never tried to take on the whole galaxy.
they took it piece by piece by shutting of the mass-relay-network which they can't ATM because we made that impossible in ME1 (or at least the Protheans did that and we made sure it stayed that way!)

that is why i would like another option in the end (to late to pull the plug on the whole crucible stuff i think (i would like that pulled, but i do not think that is possible)) and that would be:

let us fight it out and if we have enough ships, soldiers, weapons and the will to fight (gotten moral up, like the side quests with the banner for the turians!) then we should be successfull in beating them - it wont be a pretty ending (we would lose a whole lot of ships and people), but the relays would survive, as would galactic civilization as a whole - and maybe even sheppard will survive!

that would at least make my day - it might not be ideal, but it would work with what we have now, without having to burn the entire game (declare it non canon or something)...

greetings LAX
ps: will try to play a little now :(
pps: they might consider pulling that stupid kid and the annoying dream sentences (they ****** me OFF!)...i would rather have my Virmire Sacrifice talking or my LI, or TIM....(and i would, as said love the choice to tell the reaper-"controller" to "****** off" - and fight it out!)
ppps: another add here ^^ - i do not really want to know why the reapers do what they do (this ruins it as much as crucible, endings and taken away choices (taken away? - yes, because they do not matter!))
