"Are there alternative endings depending on what you do in the game?

It's not so much that there is a fixed set of alternative endings, but all of your choices really determine how things end up in the universe. So, how you approach the end-game, for every player, you're going to have a different set of results in terms of who is alive and who is dead, and which civilisations survived and which ones were wiped out.

There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things - it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who plays it."

Good morning, back again, still feeling sad.  This does make me feel hope again though!  And I am not stopping.  I hope that quote from Micheal Gamble is real and it is in direct response to us.  Sometimes you just never know but that also gives me a little hope too.  At work right now so will post intermitently throughout the day to keep it going

yeah, it was nice for him to say he's paying attention....but i think a well placed statement from TPTB would go over better.....can't expect much it did take them 2 weeks to put together a statement for the day 1 DLC issue.....

i'd think gamble, walters, or hudson could really put a fire out if they said something simple like 'there's some things in development that will clear things up'

Oh I got that my first playthrough, I thought you only got it when you finished a second playthrough, also, anyone find out the importance of the Prejek paddle fish? The guide says Liara give you important intel if you kept them alive through the games... I missed Kell so I lost them for this game but maybe someone else got them?

I was going to say something similar, thank you for addressing it. We are not here to insult ANY Bioware Dev, they deserve a lot of respect. @RussianOrc, please, keep your insults elsewhere.

From my understanding you end up with another upgrade option in Liara's ofice.

Please keep comments civil and constructive, don't give them reasons to ignore us. No one here wants that and no one wants BW Employees hurt, were angry and upset yes, but we have no idea WHY this ending was chosen yet, so just keep fighting in the way we have been, calmly and focused. Start writing letters and keep them for when everyone sends them in on the appointed day, we'll make a show of force that will move Bioware to write some new choices.

I have a problem with the sense of entitlement that seems to color it.

Not "I want a better ending"

The "You OWE me a better ending. This is MY game." that colors far too many posts here.

No one at BW that reads this thread (And they are) is taking anything anyone says that comes with even a hint of that, seriously.

Read the thread for every post screaming WAAAA I WANT A BETTER ENDING, there are multiple well thought out complaints and disapointments.

But you don't seem to be able to see past that, nor do you want to as evidenced by your own posts so far calling people irational and wanting to be "spoon fed".

Lots of people are posting saying they are dissapointed. Not I am owed a better ending.

You are purposely generalizing and really other than to troll or purposely annoy people there doesn't seem to be a purpose to it.

Dude, you don't have to go 10 pages back, much less 800, to find a ton of posts where people are *demanding* a better ending. (I'm owed) "I put 140 hours into these games" (I'm owed) "I pre-ordered all the CEs and THIS?" (I'm owed.)

It colors a lot of (but not all) posts here.


You're not owed. Tell them it was a letdown. Tell them why. Ask for a fix.

But slamming them isn't going to work. Puffing up about what you've bought and what a hardcore fanboy you are doesn't work.

And really, you want to do something else to send a message? Get you and some others to send letters. Actual, well-written, physical letters.

1000 of those is worth more than 50,000 pages of this.

Because anyone can do what we're doing here.  Anyone can hide behind it. And all things considered, this takes way less thought or effort.

And it's harder to ignore bags of actual mail in your office.

So you are willing to dismiss the people who actually make good points for the people who complain about it... That seems logical. I'm pretty sure that if they released this as paid DLC almost half the people who posted on this would pay. I sure would. I'm not going to make demands (it's stupid, and will not get anything accomplished) A good majority of people, and I are making requests.

Yes. I do ignore the people who start going on about how they bought their hoodie and pre-ordered all the CEs and all that. I pre-ordered the 2 and 3 CEs, too. So, what? No one wants to hear that. Bioware certainly doesn't. It doesn't give his anger more weight than mine.

And, what I'm telling you (from working on this side of business and knowing many others that do, too) is that when people start seeing that sort of talk, "fanboy" ticks off in their head, they roll their eyes and move on.

If you sound respectful, reasonable, and filter out that "customer is always right" attitude you'll get farther. Because that just makes the people you want to respond to you not even want to. 

Pretty sure the immense size of this thread and the fact its been already featured on a number of press outlets is a little beyond fanboyism.

Or perhaps its normal on these forums to have threads that feature 20,000 posts over a few days? Perhaps its normal for fans of games to flock to metacritic and amazon to complain? Please give an example of complaints of this magnitude regarding a video game in such a short period of time?

Honestly you're adding nothing to the discussions other than finding new ways to talk down to or about others.

Apathy and descent is the new "cool", maybe you should take up smoking, I hear that makes you look big and cool also.

I'm from belgian (that doesn't matter, but just to say maybe my english is not so good)

I want to add myself in the side of "disappointed people".

Bioware or EA (whatever, i don't care), have made 2 very good games. But, damn why did they make this with the third?

I agree some ending should be like this, but not when you fullfiled every mission step...

I want a DLC with not only one other ending but multiple others ending, and I want it for free! Damn, as someone said, if I want to feel sad, I take a look at news on TV...

I agree there is no need for this sort of talk as I have said I don't want to make anyong feel bad just want something done about the end.
