I completed the game yesterday, viewing all 3 options and well what can i say? I just feel gutted. I was planning to take my other Shepard's through ME3 but after seeing these i can't bring myself to start again, knowing that nothing i did in ME1 + 2 mattered.

Welcome on board, UK we all feel the same!

Thanks, just happy to lend my support. Hold the line!

Somehow I'm glad that we have the option to speak against the ME3-ending instead of just accepting it and shutting up. BioWare made itself a Fan-friendly community-oriented developer. So why not use this if it's wanted?

This. If Bioware is just as fan friendly as they always describe, they will listen to us!

Hold the line! We can make it.

I have no idea if anyone has mentioned this since the thread is way too big to keep up, but on Twitter Chris has said:

Faulkner ‏ @KenRaves

@BioEvilChris During the final run, just before the end, are the two squadmates with you killed? I understand if you can't answer.

 Chris Priestly ‏ @BioEvilChris

@KenRaves I don't think we've revealed that yet. Sorry.

Only problem is i had Ash and Garrus with me when i did the sucide sprint and i saw ash get out of the normandy all fit and healthy.

I'm still trying to cope with the me3 ending. Like most of you i was devastated by the ending.
From a writers point of view i guess it makes sense. It's the perfect solve-everything-reset-the-galaxy button. I bet EA loves it (Bad press is still press, and theres lots now..).

But as the player, i just can't take it. I'm not ashamed to say i've grown emotionaly attached to many of the Mass Effect characters. Especially my LI('s) And when a story, regardless wether book, game or movie builds this kind of attachement, it's just cruel to go Tabula Rasa 5 minutes before the end. The reader/player/watcher wants to know what happens to those characters. We want to be able to go to bed and reminiscent about what all those people might be doing now that sheperd's story is over. And you (Bioware) took that away....

How would people have reacted if Tolkien killed off all the main characters right after Frodo dropped the ring?

How would they have reacted if Harry Potter's last fight destroyed all magic and noone could ever go back to Hogwards?

This is Neon Genesis Evangelion all over again. And that writer was emotionally traumatized to begin with. You just don't do this to your audience.

Mass Effect 3 may make huge loads of money right now. But if this is the direction story in bioware games is going to take i just can't get myself to indulge in their next series. And i think this is the message we need to send to them.

I guess i'm just a wuzz.

It seems that our mingled indignation, disappointment, hurt and ultimate hope for redemption has begun to tax the BSN's ability to cope.

This is a good thing.

Of course they are. If they are gonna give in and release new endings the easiest way isn't to rewrite the endings we have now in an attempt to shoehorn more in. The easiest way to do things would be to just roll with the indocrination theory, mention what it was for everyone who didn't get it, then create actual endings with closure based on our decisions from there.

I assume it will read something like: "This was the ending we've entended from the start. Deal with it."

Hold the line.

Since the ending was supposed to be "definite", "with more answers than questions", etc, how can they say "I don't think we revealed that yet" ?

I wonder what the reveal will be.

This made me extremely hopeful now. Wow.

I dislike the idea of Shep being "MCed" in the final 'episode', why didn't Sov just MC Shep and go about summoning the rest of the Reapers. Why didn't Harbinger just MC him in the base (ME2). Why didn't all those other Reapers just MC him (ME3).

Hopefully no one has posted this already, just found another gamefront article on the takebackme3 facebook page showing their on our side in all of this. http://www.gamefront...-to-gain-steam/ They are saying that Bioware is going to have to respond to this soon. They also seem to feel that Bioware and other gaming press sites will need to readjust their thinking that this nothing but a bunch of whining fanboys.

I am soooooo glad I stopped while I was ahead with Evangelion.  I read a few spoilers and saw the misery to come, so I just quit watching before I got too attached.

hi guys just wanted to throw in my own two cent.

finished my first playtrough allready on saturday and at first was statisfied with it, only on my second playtrough while talking with my friend on skype who also played back then and isn't through it yet, did I really realize just how pointless the second time really is. since then I support you guys.

And about the demanding thing I think we can and should demand it, they didn't uphold their promises so just asking nice doesn't cut it.

(should there be any grave mistakes in my english please be nice. english isn't my native tongue if it gets read anyway ;))
