So we have some new multiplayer DLC, which, of course, isn't the DLC that we want.
http://www.cinemable...aled-40370.html

I knew it. If this is real, I totally saw this coming. I mean, who the **** cares about mp dlc right now? I sure don't. Actually, I plan on never touching mp (the beauty of playing ME on Xbox and having to pay extra)

The online isn't even all that great it gets boring after awhile I think theres only like four maps

People seem wrought up on multiplayer DLC when this is floating around:

Omega DLC with Aria; a mission with your LI; weapon/appearance packs; and a "Rescue Shepard" DLC... really hoping this turns out to be true... But these will be a little ways down the tube unfortunately

I've heard of the Omega DLC, but not the others. The link is broken, too, btw :(

Oops; thanks for pointing it out; it's fixed now :)

Yeah, the guy claims to be a minor Bioware employee, showed some proof of the DLCs but couldn't find it later on. I mean Omega seemed obvious with the comics, but the rest sound pretty aweome imo

But whats the point of any of those dlc if the universe just explodes, after we do all that anyway?

I just realized a short while ago the best comparison I can come up with.....

While playing ME3 I wholeheartedly thought I was reading the most beautiful love letter I had ever read, and then I got to the final sentence, and I realized it was a break up note.

I think that best sums up ME3 for me.....

Sorry if it was asked, but I remember mass effect 3 script was leaked long before release. Was an end in it any different?

It's a shame really that the ending is killing the sales and ratings. I would give this game a 10 out of 10 easy if it had a better ending. I won't rate it on any site at all until we get a decision on the ending. I loved the first two games, so it's really difficult for me to give the third game anything less than a 10. But the ending makes the entire journey seem pointless.

Its not like they didn't know that fans where going to get upset. Why do you think that changed the forum rules twice right before launch. They were also giving interviews saying the opposite of what was published. I have no mercy for them right now. Not after 5 years and hundereds of dollars.  I don't pay people to sell me lies. Someone has to be held accountable.

IIRC it was drastically different.

Dark Matter (think Tali's recruitment mish in ME2) and Reapers...better choice for endings...other stuff that I've forgotten but it looked much better than what we got.

I don't care if the original ending was leaked, I would want that ending any day over the ones we got.

Well hey, if the relays really did blow up and Shepard really was dead and the crew really was stranded on a deserted world.... they were happy. But still, let that all be some sort of false memory and then give us 5 minutes of shepard waking the hell up.

That kind of goes with the Liara romance scene, where she was talking about being lost "up there" and away from everything.... some "nice" little foreshadowing, eh?

well then bioware was really lazy, or there is really something into it; or dont you think so?

wa? honestly i could care less, when the ending killed me
but there is a lot of stuff in ME3 where bioware was clearly lazy, minor stuff, but if youre a graphics **** like me, its really annoying

did anyone had the idea to play the last lvl for example in the collectors' equipment? because i'm not sure if my sheperd wore the things i made him wear in the last mission. that would be an interesting thing to try

no he doesnt, it switches to a destroyed version of the starting armor

Nah, I doubt it really means anything. It's not so much laziness, as it is efficency. Making a damaged version of every piece of armor, and every set of armor would take too much time. Just think of all those time you or one of your squadmates magically (:wizard:) get an Avenger in your hands.

Guys, I'm starting to believe this "we deliver the end in a DLC"-story could be true. But, even if I would be glad about a "real" ending instead of the one they gave us (so far), I would be disappointed of BioWare. The ending(s) belong on the disc.

If they try and make us pay for the DLC, I'll not be purchasing a single thing from them again.

I wouldn't buy it and I know that they would proceed to lose even more fans than they already have, myself included, sadly. Making us pay for the "true" ending would be the final straw, which isn't something that I'm happy to say. In fact, it makes me even more incredibly sad than I already am :crying:

Obsidian actually made KOTOR 2.. same symptoms though, they piece together what they have an so the ending isn't the same quality as the rest of the game.

Yeah, I'm aware. I was comparing the situations, not saying that Bioware did KOTOR 2.

It had I believe 4 different endings, mainly centered around Shepard getting to the beam to get up to the Citadel.  The ending we got was still there though.

I know a few people have linked to it or still have it around, so they can probably link/paste the actual text.

So in another thread we are debating denoting to Childs Play, under the name of our movement to get some media coverage, prove we arent being spoiled brats and yea, generally a good thing to do. Anyway. How many people, considering there's a natural middle man, that isnt a random forumite, would be into this idea to help our cause?

I prefered the eating the best chili ever and discovering it's made from your parents analogy but yeah.

So, does anyone have a theory as to how the aliens magically disappear by the time the stargazer scene happens? There were thousands of alien races stranded on Earth, no relays, and it's obvious at the end that the stargazer scene is supposed to be taking place on "our" Earth, i.e. no super technology, aliens, etc.

While I think the lover letter and chili analogies are perhaps more perfect, there's another comparison I can make about how I feel right now.

The BSG series ending. I feel *worse* about the ME 3 ending because I actually made choices in the first two .... I had some control, but it turns out I never had control at all. Still, same level of "seriously, really? really?" feeling as at the end of BSG...

the avenger is just laziness, since you can code all that in so the game uses the gun which you were using, and its not hard at all since they are realtime cutscenes, so many older games have done it.

yeah ok... :D
but if this is the proof that this whole ending was not the real ending - in the end :D  - then remember me! :P
