So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Now, after I've seen the "wonderful" endings, Bioware offers for part 3, I'm deleting the older ones. The complete Play-through lost sense. I really dislike the endings and I won't even do a replay with the Shepard I just finished. Why should I? The endings are silly. Suddenly the mighty Reapers ("We are each a nation - independent, free of all weakness." you remember?) are controlled by the ghost-boy of the citadel. Wonderful. And because Ghosty thinks, the organics and synthetics can't coexists, we have to either all become cyborgs, exterminate a sentient and peaceful species (Geth) or become the Ruler of the Reapers...
Where's the option to prove him wrong? Outside of his small world there are Geth an Quarians fighting together. Combining their forces in order to destroy the Reapers. Something that is impossible, according to his opinion.
And why on Earth is the Normandy crashing on a unknown world? They were in the solar system, fighting against the reapers. When Shepard mets Ghosty, the fight is still going on, you can see it in the background. So why were they running away? Especially regarding the fact, that there's no save place to run left. Reapers are everywhere. Here on Earth the last stand is going on and here you have the chance to get blown away instead of getting huskified or turned into a Reaper-baby... Also, why on Earth was I strengthening the Citadel-Defences? For nothing?

It had I believe 4 different endings, mainly centered around Shepard getting to the beam to get up to the Citadel. The ending we got was still there though.
I know a few people have linked to it or still have it around, so they can probably link/paste the actual text.

The online isn't even all that great it gets boring after awhile I think theres only like four maps
People seem wrought up on multiplayer DLC when this is floating around:
Omega DLC with Aria; a mission with your LI; weapon/appearance packs; and a "Rescue Shepard" DLC... really hoping this turns out to be true... But these will be a little ways down the tube unfortunately
I've heard of the Omega DLC, but not the others. The link is broken, too, btw
Oops; thanks for pointing it out; it's fixed now
Yeah, the guy claims to be a minor Bioware employee, showed some proof of the DLCs but couldn't find it later on. I mean Omega seemed obvious with the comics, but the rest sound pretty aweome imo
How did Shep get to the jungle world? <_<

There is a reason why I only play single player rpg games that don't have mp at all. That was another thing that made me annoyed bout ME3, but I can deal with it for now...there is something worse than not being able to achieve 5000 ems on sp:devil:
You can achieve 5000 ems on sp. Import a Shep, try to make as many allies as you can (I allied everyone), finish all the side missions, and scan every system in every cluster (basically, 100% completion). You'll get over 10000 TMS.
Have you tried it? Screenshots? Because I did try, and no, I did not get it. Yes, I imported a Shep from ME1 to ME2 and then ME3, I allied everyone, did all side quests, scan every single system and every single planet (it took hell of a long time, btw).
The max I could get was around 7400 TMS, which is around 3700 ems without EVER touching mp.
SO many people have told me that you can do it, but no one has proven it. With a screenshot or a video or something. Until a see proof, I'm not believing it.
I was talking from personal experience. And no, I'm sorry I don't have any proof beyond my word. I play on the Xbox and don't have the means to record game sessions.

Nope, it's exactly the same. The 3rd option is the first at the results.

Yeah, I was just thinking that I'll probably never pick up ME3 again unless there's a new ending. Not in protest for anything, because ME3 was still a beautiful game. I just...can't.
I played ME 5 times to get it what I felt was right. 100+ hours.
I played ME2 even more...can't remember how many times but at least 5. Another 100+ hours.
I feel so empty after playing my first ME3 playthrough that I cannot stomach another run. I'm drained. Burned out.
This sucks.

I prefered the eating the best chili ever and discovering it's made from your parents analogy but yeah.
So, does anyone have a theory as to how the aliens magically disappear by the time the stargazer scene happens? There were thousands of alien races stranded on Earth, no relays, and it's obvious at the end that the stargazer scene is supposed to be taking place on "our" Earth, i.e. no super technology, aliens, etc.

The BSG series ending. I feel *worse* about the ME 3 ending because I actually made choices in the first two .... I had some control, but it turns out I never had control at all. Still, same level of "seriously, really? really?" feeling as at the end of BSG...
yep, and add Matrix, and some other things......

Are you sure you never touched mp? Like, ever? You are the first person who is actually saying they got over 4000 ems without ever touching multiplayer. Everyone else touched it at least for 5min and bumped up readiness to 60% or something like that, to get over 4000.
There must have some kind of magic, because no one has been able to do it (trust me, I've been SO active on BSN that I have been reading this thread since page 50 and trying to find a way to get over 4000 ems without mp)

@BioEvilChris During the final run, just before the end, are the two squadmates with you killed? I understand if you can't answer.
@KenRaves I don't think we've revealed that yet. Sorry.
@BioEvilChris Totally fine, sir, thanks for your time! Also, I was 95% satisfied with the game - sorry 'bout the flak on the forums I saw.

Sounds like, something will be revealed.
edit: source: twitter.com/#!/BioEvilChris/status/179051973658685440
I dunno, man. I get why that sounds promising, but I gotta admit I'm pessimistic. I kinda interpret this more as Chris saying he's not going to talk about ending spoilers (as in, the ending we got, not a secret one) until a later date (when more people have finished the game, etc).
