So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Once we get a few million votes and everyone who bought the game voted, I'm sure the response will be
"Hey, the rate is decreasing, looks like people are fine with it!"

Hey, my PS3 is updating ME3. Says for DLC and patches. Anyone know what this is for, or am I just getting my hopes up unnecessarily?
As I know it's just a fixing-patch.
Got a source but it's in german.

What is really upsetting is that Throne of Baal had a better choice of endings and epilogues and it was like 10 years ago?!?!? This garbage where ghost dad architect pops up to force 3 completely out of context/character choices on you with no story resolution. Then somehow your ground teammates pop up on a normandy thats fleeing the system and just happens to end up on a verdant planet that years later grampy time story is taking place; even though 30 ppl crew would mean cro magnon level of retardation in the offspring over 10 generations.
From the get go and all the interviews, they specifically said they would not do this to us and that there would be no copy pasta ending because of the 3 game cross over. Now we get this trash and I'm just at a loss. If this is some kind of gotcha thing where they tried to pull a asimov or heinlein, they messed up big by not at least including a announcement at the end of the game to say something to that effect. At least tell you that something is coming if you get the scene where Shepard is breathing at the end.
Argh, I'm just so pissed I can't even focus. Bioware needs to address this even before the supposed Japan release because at this point whatever marginal sales they will gain there will be offset by negative PR and post release week sales declines in the US, EU, and other markets. I've already been pretty vocal to my crew about this and many of them already put off buying this until they see this addressed. I know my 3 friends and their measely $60 bucks a copy plus maybe $20 of DLC is nothing to Bioware but they going to tell others and so forth. Plus, we will most likely carry this grudge to DA3 and not buy that for fear of another stab in the back.

Ya know, the whole Normandy thing really has me questioning what's going on. In my game I was running with Garrus and Tali in the end. When joker gets off the ship suddenly Tali isn't too far behind him. How could she possibly be on the Normandy when we were fighting on the surface?!
Little by little I'm becoming less angry, what was presented to us just wasn't logical. When did Joker ever run from a fight?! Never! Even when the SR-1 was half destroyed he was still fighting!
This just doesn't add up, I'm expecting a level to be unlocked at a later date, would there be a way to look at the files and confirm/deny this?
Somebody with a PC copy would have likely found any sort of hidden level on the disk by now.

I just realized a short while ago the best comparison I can come up with.....
While playing ME3 I wholeheartedly thought I was reading the most beautiful love letter I had ever read, and then I got to the final sentence, and I realized it was a break up note.
I think that best sums up ME3 for me.....
Here, here.
I prefered the eating the best chili ever and discovering it's made from your parents analogy but yeah.
So, does anyone have a theory as to how the aliens magically disappear by the time the stargazer scene happens? There were thousands of alien races stranded on Earth, no relays, and it's obvious at the end that the stargazer scene is supposed to be taking place on "our" Earth, i.e. no super technology, aliens, etc.
that's an awful big moon.....
That's no moon...
lol, pun
But seriously it looks like the Gas Giant that jungle planet (or moon) the Normandy crashes on.
@4:36, that's a Gas Giant "in front of" Joker's body
that's a Gas Giant in the sky.
it could just be this place...

Apparently the 360 disc has 6gb more content than the PC one I was just reading. So they may have dealt with that lol.

There was an update on Origin, but it was only 25 megabytes, hardly enough to contain what WE were hoping for.

Ah. I zoned in on 'DLC' and got my hopes up, I see. Has me curious, though: I didn't notice anything glitchy or anything in my playthrough, so I'm wondering what it does exactly.

NVM, I guess the images on Youtube aren't that detailed...I thought it was a Gas Giant. Guess it's a standard world with a non-standard moon (aka one that supports life).

Well that could be it though... a PC almost HAS to have an internet conenction to pick up whatever is coming. It's also the platform you can search for goodies.
What if the goodies are already on the console discs, but need to be downloaded to PC to combat the possibility of the hidden level hunt?

Seems legit... and if it's true I feel like it would cool down a lot of pissed off fans... though again the whole "paying for the actual ending" thing might irk more then a few.
The description of the rescue dlc makes no sense. Not even with space magic:wizard: he gets on this jungle planet where the normandy is.
What about with Unicorn Space Magic?
I know how it happens. When we're watching every thing splodey on Earth, there's a shuttle that zips over to the Citadel and Shepard automagically jumps on the landing thing, and zips onto the Normandy with seconds to spare. *nods* Something like that.
I have two solutions to that:
One the indoc theory's correct, your two squaddies drag your extra crispy body out of the kill zone and get evac'd by normandy with as many of the team as they can grab and Joker hauls ass towards a support point a jump or two away that has hospital ships and the like. (can't take those into a kill zone, standard military doctrine) meanwhile Anderson makes the beam, and opens the Citadel, firing the Crucible
Or the ending did happen as it happened, and the Citadel got chunked, with the SHEER amount of energy being released it's not implausible to kick a hunk of space station (which are built with emergency pressure doors if we recall Tali's suit design lesson) along at ME speeds, assuming it works like electricity that energy would follow the path of least resistance which would probably be along and with the mass relay so there's actually a chance a set of debris complete with Shep would get kicked out into the same general area as the Normandy. It's a billion to one chance, but Shep handles billion to one odds before he gets out of bed every morning,
