I know it's tough guys, Hold the Line, stand fast and stick together. Remember we are all on the same side here, were fighting for Shepard. Not just Shepard but those characters we have grown to love. Hold the line, if for nothing else...then Commander Kirrahe.
I'm definatly seeing a comparison between us forum members united under a common cause, and the galaxy under one as well.

Yeah, really. I didn't see that comparison flying around the internet during the Fallout 3 ending backlash. It's really just insulting.
The Destructoid folks are... how shall I put this nicely... pretty immature most of the time... and they tend to try to bark with the pak and often be very non chalant.
Kinda sorry the Escapist hasn't picked up on our little endavour yet, though... I am really looking forward to what Yatzee
has to say about the ending.^^

EVERYONE MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE.
In a little while I will be posting a link to a site where you may donate funds to a charity known as Childs Play, a charity designed by gamers for gamers. We believe this will help our cause by proving to all those saying we are being selfish and entitled that we are not, we are fighting for someone we believe in. The charity itself is worthy of help beyond our cause but I will selfishly say for the moment I am bringing it up because it can help us.
Donation is of course voluntary and were not looking for 400$ Donations from anyway, that would hurt us more than help us, what were after is each person of the tens of thousands we have here and the thousands more who won't post, to chip in anywhere from a single dollar, to ten dollars. The link I will have for everyone and anyone who WANTS to donate, very shortly, so keep an eye out for any posts from me in the mean time, thank you for listening my companions.
Rosery
Hold The Line.
I'm from the UK can I donate?

Well i think they made a twitter post saying the ending is basically open to interpretation, and thats pretty much it.
"You make your own end, and why dont you try to fill the Citadel-sized plotholes while you at it. You guys are good at that"- BioWare to it's fans.
Several members of the community have already proved that they can do it...

then that would make EA the Reapers, i knew it all along
Well they did lie about DLC on disk, so it's not surprising they would go back on their word about the endings too.Darkspazztic wrote...

The guy apparently has no idea what Bioware has been promising us from the get go.
While it *is* their game, and they *did* make it, they have told us from the beginning that our choices will affect the outcome of...well, everything.
So, in a way, it *is* our story. Bioware has set up the guidelines and the limits and we pick our own way from there. The ending for ME3 does not do that. It gives us 3 choices that basically all end up in the same place with different lights along the way.
I don't think it's too much to ask for something that we've basically been promised all along, is it?

Here's the thing, If they do acknowledge a mistake and they do create new endings via dlc. Buying that would set an extremely dangerous precedent in the gaming world. It would be like saying "yeah sure bend me over I'll take it, and I'll keep coming back for more." Then EA, Activision, and the like would be shown just how far they can really go with trying to get more money.
DLC is fine. Deliberately holding pieces of the core game away just to sell it to you later is just wrong, especially the ending of a three part series
At least that's how I look at it.
Bethesda did it after the uproar that happened following the release of FO3. They released three other pieces of DLC before it, but they eventually did release something that created a proper send off to the game. And you know what? It was glorious.

The ending of ME3 seemed so lazily put together to me. The second Shepard gets hit by the beam from the Reaper... it falls right off a cliff. Seems like there's no real choice to make to make anything different happen. The actual ending... after the small chat with the "child"... there's no more, voice acting... It's just some scenes thrown together... A different colored explosion... with 0% consequence shown to make it seem different. Then for some reason, Joker is fleeing the battle as fast as he can. Why?... I guess he was a coward after all... and the team is somehow with him. They never explain it... or anything for that matter... Don't give me 3 choices to show me different color explosion... never in the entire mass effect series has the quality been so low to make that kind of laziness appropriate... You can kill off Shepard... But a hero's send off needs to be heroic... a more satisfying ending would just to fade to black right after a decision is made...

You seem to have a REAL problem with people disagreeing with you. Especially since no one here wants anything that will detract from your experience.
