I couldn't pick a better crew to serve with. You people have united the internet. We've gone from a small band with no hope, to a fighting chance. The odds are stacked against us, but we'll stick to our ideals.

Am I the only one slightly creeped out by the fact that I'm using the inspiration of a character whose legacy I'm fighting for is the purpose of my fight in the first place?

Creeped out? No. I think it's a testament to Bioware's first two games and the third as well actually, that we have taken THAT Much from Shepard and his/her adventures. Think about it...a month ago all this was infighting, now a unified front that can even resist the trolls! We got that from Shepard, from Mass Effect as a series, what higher praise is there that it can do this to us in real life?

Hold The Line! And as someone said, if we do lose, if we fall...then by the Goddess we will go down swinging! With a bang and not like a whimper, For Shepard!

''I've actually sat through the launch of games I've worked on (2 x AAA sports titles) and I can tell you, we definitely were paying attention to both critical and user reviews and feedback. The problem is, how do you respond to the kind of crushing tidal wave of disappointment that is coming from the fanbase currently? And knowing that this is likely only the leading edge of the disappointment - the reason this is blowing up *now* is that players are just starting to finish the game. I can tell you, I made a lot of free time for this game, and I only finished it two days ago. Then I spent a day or so in shock, and then I got mad. I suspect this will only get louder.

That being said, there's almost nothing anyone at Bioware can say. Any statement about this would have to come from the top, and once that happens it becomes policy, so nobody's going to say *anything* until they get official word on what management intends to do (if anything). Management is going to keep their mouths shut as long as possible so they can see what the best direction is to jump. I would bet you green money that behind closed doors there are a lot of concerned phone calls going around. Keep it up, and you'll have an impact. And don't forget to make your opinions known at Metacritic. Privately, people in the industry have been freaked out by the enormous influence of metacritic scores on sales for years - so hit 'em where it hurts.''

I'm still in this for the long haul, even if Bioware doesn't say anything even if they try to release dlc's not related to the ending and act like we are a minority, just HOLD. THE. LINE.

It'll take a lot, but even if we don't win, at least we fought to the very end. for the ending that Mass Effect deserves

I think it goes to show the effect these games had on this many people. Doesn't matter if it was a video game - it gave people something to believe in that's worth fighting for.

And this is why video games are a medium above and beyond literature and television.

Anyone feel how similar this RL battle is to the one in ME3? Oh crap =.= BioWare is going to give us a choice of three different colored versions of the same outcome... Oh wait.

I think it's quite hilarious that most of the major media outlets are trying to paint us as fanatical. We just want a decent ending to a game that we've grown to love. Are we that evil for just asking? lol This feels like paying to watch the Superbowl and at the end of the fourth quarter, while the score is even, both teams decide, "Hey, it's been a great game and an awesome season.Instead of have having a definite winner, how about we just call it a tie and go home! The fans will understand!"

In my opinion, after my first playthrough and half way through my second, i have been thinking about the ending choices. I prefer synthesis over destroy at the end due to the fact seeing so many conflict between each races and organic life vs machine. The Catalyst was right to this point; however, i disagree with its decision about "bring order to chaos" by harvesting organic life before they reach the stage of what The Catalyst call " the conflict b/w creators and created" Destroy it will result another chaos in the future and Control it does not really solve the problem at all either. Therefore, the only best choice which our lovely Bioware gave us is "synthesis"
Just my preference.

Going with this is all just a "knocked unconscious" dream.

Red: Reapers prove Organics will eventually destroy Synths
Blue: Organics will seek to enslave Synths
Green: Organics are truly willing to co-exist

In either one you still wake up where the Red one shows you (under debris).
Red: You keep fighting
Blue: You keep fighting
Green: Reapers leave and decide to "watch" things develope

Yeah i think all three choices are understandable and reasonable, but it is just lack of some good closure for this long series ME 1 to 3 and i believe i still want to find out what will happen after synthesis and other two choices. The choices at the end are not the issue. The real problem is lack of good closure for each choice.

I'm just too disappointed with Bioware.

The "dream sequence" ending? Oh, no! Not that again. We've seen it in movies, games and everything. And you do all that, from ME1 on, to end like that? Seems that nothing I did was worth anything.

How the hell am I supposed to play again knowing that nothing matters? That gathering every person, making aliances, friendships, relationships, fighting to preserve what we had, was worthless?

What a shameful ending(s)!!!

Anything but getting there, maybe having a "Saren moment" with Tim, and then getting a choice, but for crying out loud, having a chance to survive and save the relays. That's what we need.

I thought we were gonna be able to choose how we organize our troops, so we could make them more useful.

And not another talk with a spirit and making a stupid choice that makes everything else useless.

I thought this was going to be the best ME. But turns out, differently from what happened before, I'm not going to start over. I see no reason to play this game again. Or ME again, by the way! It just makes no sense. Everything that I worked so hard to achieve ends in 5 stupid minutes, with a stupid talk with a stupid ghost, my character acts stupidly, my companions apparently died, and the rest will end in Iguaçu Falls, with no technology.

Man, what a waste.

Interesting fact... my brother, who hasn't played a video game in years, called me yesterday to ask if Mass Effect 3's ending was as bad as everyone says... he saw a bunch of comments about it on facebook and found our thread without ever playing the game... We are getting the message across to the average person! HOLD THE LINE!

Hell I don't even consider this an ending. Choosing which color you want the beam to be and then not seeing any real consequences for your decision. I can't even begin to describe the depths of my disappointment and rage. I am just....seething. 400+ hours of my life and this is how it ends? Well at least I can say I enjoyed all of those hours, though they have certainly lost a bit of their shine. Bioware you have lost me.
