Doubt it, but that reaper laser on Rannoch sure loved to one hit kill me when it wasn't even close to me.

That one really pissed me off. If you dodge too soon the laser follows you, and blows you up. I guess that's why the renegade interupt was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it...

It took me about 10 deaths to realize you had to juke it, then I killed it on the next try, dunno what the issue is once you realize what you actually have to do.

Yeah! I hate that plot hole too. I wouldn't even mind having Shep dying by the Reapers, but what's up with your buddies? It just doesn't make ANY sense for them to appear in the Normandy. Especially if you were with your LI. At this point im pretty sure they would've wanted to die or fight for you till the end. But eh, Space Magic

I rarely post on forums, but finishing the game, I just had to scream a little. Oh boy was I shocked to see this thread being around 900 pages and counting. I do feel betrayed and hurt by the endings. Ever since my best friend lent my his copy I fell in love with this series. When me and my group of friends got talking about games I was always like "You guys should play Mass Effect." They all finally caved and are playing the first one now and are constantly telling me how much they love it. My best friend and I were so excited about grabbing our copies and being able for the first time play it around the same time. Now that I've completed the game I have this feeling of dread for when my friends get to the end. I can't even warn them because we have this strict no spoiler policy on games we are all playing. I feel in a way I let them down. I got all of them invested in this series. I know that I will eventually get over the ending. I'm not going to let 10 minutes of terrible ruin 100+ hours of amazing. How are they going to take it?

I know the feeling. I have a friend playing it right now who thinks I'm crazy because I refuse to talk about it until after he gets through the ending. He's even started wondering if it's even worth it at this point, even though I haven't told him anything about what happens.

It just dawned on me that I got more closure about what happened to my space hampster after I was suspended from duty than I got about my whole crew after I defeated the Reapers...maybe this is why I am bothered!

Yeah, thats another thing i have with the ending. 
I mean, THATS clearly how the Reaper beams work: insta-kill, even if its not a direct hit. You just need to be close enough.

Yet at the end it seems like you take the bulk of the shot, and get up. Limping and all, but still too well-off IMO.

Should be interesting, but I doubt he's going to be very adament about it personally. Unless he actually is somewhat attached to the series. He'll tear it apart for the plot holes and inconsistencies though.
