We have TONS of acceptable ideas from happyending/destruction ideas to ones like yours.
Bioware does not respond and it becomes really hot here. First of all we need some reaction.

I wonder... perhaps one of us should try writing a fan article and having it featured on one of the major gaming websites? Has anyone tried this yet?

Or maybe there's a game caster out there who can be swayed to our cause. I was thinking of Total Biscuit but I'm not sure if he bought the game (after the boycott message).

The feels hurt.

I don't cry, and I've cried.

I don't rage, and I've raged.

I don't blather uncontrollably to myself about what could, would, and should have been, and I'll be damned if I'm saying I haven't done that.

I can honestly say no game has ever made me feel this way, and though it's a downfall for Bioware to have ended it like they did, it's a great triumph to actually make people feel so deeply about their product.

I know just what you mean.  I finished playing on Friday morning and I'm fairly sure I spent every waking moment until Saturday night alternating between agony and rage, and I literally could. not. shut up about it.

If Bioware had made me feel this strongly about an ending I liked, they could conquer the world with me
at their feet.  As it is, slightly less willing to do that atm, although my affections can be bought back, Bioware, if you're listening.

Who would have thought, exactly a week ago origin finally let me play the Digital Deluxe edition i'd just downloaded. Even though the first minutes were pretty much the same as the demo i totally loved it from the second i started playing. Didn't really mind having to remade my male shepards handsome mug, neither did i care about the minor bugs. Now a week later im here totally destroyed by the endings... Uncapable of playing anything at all...

I personally like a soul-crushingly depressing ending so long as it's done with a certain level of finesse, i.e. 1984, Red Dead Redemption, anything by Flannery O'Connor, Thane..., but the ending to ME 3 was just odd. It simply didn't matter - all 3 were the same. I was hoping Shepard would die, so that is not the problem. His/her death was unavoidable, I just wish the whole leading up to said death actually made it so it wasn't in vain

*sigh*  So was wondering about Mike Gamble twitter (got posted several pages back Image IPB) about 'if we only knew what they were planning... we'll...  just keep you copy of ME3' (don't remember the exact quote).  What does that mean?  They've told us numerous times this is the last Shepard story, why on earth would we even have a notion that anything else that has to do with Shepard was coming?  I don't really know how to say this right but this was supposed to be our ending, we knew that going into ME3, we accepted it, but then this happened... if they were going to continue DLC or whatever it seems they may be planning, (getting lots of cryptics, I'll admit I'm grasping at straws) due to time constrants or whatever actually happened why not tell us?  We think this is it.  (meaning the ending of ME3/Shepard story).

I am still numb, and if I think about it too much I spiral again.  Just want to give a big thank you to everyone here.  You make me feel a little better. Image IPB

Pretty much what you said, OP.

In short:

BW told us, the endings won't make everybody happy.
Truth is: the endings will make everybody sad.

And that, fellow fans, is the only truth here. Lets shove that down their throat.

I just signed the petition.  Never did that before but here's hoping.    This is what I wrote:

For 6 years, I've played for hundreds of hours in the ME universe.  ME3 was the best game I've ever played, the best I probably will ever play, but the last 5 minutes is simply unacceptable.  I've had a few days to think it over and came to a simply concusion: how can I play the series again if it leads to those horrible 5 minutes?  It's 16 sad, depressing endings with almost no differences between them.  I'm a shareholder of EA stock, a customer and a fan.  Respect us. Provide one small ray of light to this dark universe you've left us.

====
Anyway, I feel so foolish.  I bought my first Xbox so I could play ME.  My boyfriend and I started dating because of ME2.   I took time off of work to play the sequels.  I saw this universe as a complex -but ultimately hopeful- future.  Someplace I'd like to live.  It's the kind of place that holds its own compared to creations of Gene Rodenberry or George Lucas.

How many ways can you destory a franchise in under 5 minutes?

Why? Why would BW do this?  Why would we want to waste 30-40 hours to see characters we empathize with be killed or kill themselves?  Why would we want to find love and see new love bloom when regardless of what happens to Shepard, you know that the fate of your friends, your loves, are abandoned, dead, or lost?  I considered both the Normandy and the Citadel as Shepard's home and BW decides to destoy both?

Don't forget everyone, media coverage should increase once we reach our goal of 1000 dollars to the charity Childs Play, that should help sway some people over to us and prove we are not being entitled ****s or anything.

Right... I've seen this movie before: "Be civilized, there is a proper way to go about this", which is code for "Shut up".

As far as I'm concerned, his judgement is moot. He uses a relative minority and presents them as if they were standard in his feature. Likely, they were targetted for their impact as appearing foolish or out of control.

One word: Disingenuous.

We are clearly not out of control, but disappointed. And it is as much our fiction as the company's: we are producer and consumer; we are a mutually reliant couple.

It's got to sting them at least a little. Expecting nothing but glowing reviews and then facing the cold reality that something of theirs isn't universally loved as it once was. Such a shame that 95% of a great game, and series is ruined by 15 minutes of...garbage.

That Twitter remark of theirs WILL come back to bite them in the ass. That I am sure of.

Isn't it funny how an ending that hurts all of us could band us together in the most cohesive, non-trolling and supportive group ever? We are the very representation of the fleets taking the fight to the reapers in the first place! A group that doesn't always see eye to eye, banding together regardless of problems in the past or differences in gender or race, to fight something evil that threatens and hurts us all?

It's all very poetic
