So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I did too. Give it a while, and your appetite should come back. Or just shove food down your throat like I did. We need you alive to hold the line. Take care!

Keep the 3 endings. but for the love of Child space god, give us: An ending where Shepard and Liara have beautiful Blue asari babies together, and ending where Shepard fulfills his promise to Tali, and brings her back to her homeworld and get's her that beautiful house for them to live with. The ending where Shepard has a life with Ashley. Just give us closure, we want all possible endings. Whether they're dismal, or Happy.
We want to see Shepard sacrifice his/her life for the greater good of the galaxy and his name is forever remembered by the races.
We want to see and ending where Shepard lives and has a nice peaceful loving life with his or her love interest.
Or the bad ending where the galaxy still falls to the reapers.
Give us more than three color coded choices with virtually the same outcome.
Oh, no. Please, cut the "space child god". This is the mother of all "Deus ex machina". Give us some real ending.
I really wanted to see BW just saying: "we admit. The endings were a mistake. This time we will give it some thought, and come up with a real ending. You will take from the charge on the Reaper. No drastic cut, no space child-god, and no lack of telling about everyone that you cared about in the game".
Some real endings means sacrificing himself while fighting with his comrades. After reaching a decision point. But with the option of a happy ending. And even if sacrifice is on the menu, shows us what happen to everybody later on. How Shepard is remembered through all the universe. And stop this thing about cutting all technology. This is also very bad. Or maybe just in a "worst case scenario-renegade choice". But show how is the Citadel afterwords. How is Earth and Shepard. Or people's memories of him and his companions.
I don't think it's fair to sell a game and have those things told just in another game, or payed dlc, if that was the idea.
I'm starting to think that they planned something like that. Some DLC to tell more. But it's just wrong. The only DLC they should focus on now is about correcting these terrible mistakes and sorry excuses for endings.
Yeah true, I honestly couldn't believe it all boiled down to a Space reaper god child wizard telling you, you have to pick between three options. and that there is no rejecting these options.
Honestly it was a complete break from Shepards character, no way in hell would he do that. He'd find a way like he always does.
Exactly! It was just not the same game, not the same character. And nothing we did before seemed to matter. It was a big break from everything.
And sad thing is, is that the cruicible idea could've worked, but when they did it they screwed up and left us feeling like as Kenneth would say. "We just got kicked in the daddy bags."

That dip is just some investors jumping at a low stock price. Notice how it starts to sell off right before close. They closed -2.43%. Tomorrow you might see people short selling EA stock.aderynbrea wrote...

I really need to get rolling on ME3. Hadrian Shepard is waiting, but I've no motivation to continue with it.
Yep. I think we all had a dozen different characters from previous games to be used and enjoyed in ME3. But I just don't see a reason to play this again. To meet "space god-child" and "stargazer" after a bizarre ending sequence that cancels everything that Shepard represented, and all the decisions he always made?
Yep. No motivation at all.

Anyone with a twitter account? Has Mike Gamble, Casey Hudson or any other employee posted anything recently?
Nothing in regard to us really. But here are the recents:
@JessicaMerizan: OHGOD is it seriously only Monday!? I'm about to get mopey. Wait. This totally calls for In-N-Out after work! Comfort food fixes everything.
@CaseyDHudson:
Lots of great feedback coming in on #MassEffect3 - keep it coming! We listen to it all.
And Gamble only tweeted about the datapad app.

Casey said that they're listening. I love Bioware - I always have. I just hope they put what they hear into action, or else I'm going to assume EA has finally destroyed what Bioware was and could have been.

All I wanted was for defeat the reapers and live happily ever after with Kaiden. But once I started the Cerebus mission, there was a crazy amount of foreshadowing that Sehpard wasn't gonna survive this and see Kaiden again. But I hoped that was just Bioware trying to make me scared and nervous. If that was all it was, I would currently be applauding them for making me sweat so much.
I decided to destroy the reapers because that's what I promised everyone I would do - its what everyone I cared about expected, so even if I didn't get to see them again, at least I wouldn't have disappointed them.
But....Kaiden, Joker, and Garrus end up stranded on a planet god knows where. No idea how Kaiden and Garrus ended up there, since supposedly they were both in the final charge to the citadel with me. Or how they're gonna survive once the Normandy runs out of power - I doubt any of them know how to survive without technology.
And hey, what I surprise! I'm suddenly breathing! somwhere...
Well, that's still kind of crappy, since even if someone manages to find my body and and fix me up, I'm still never gonna see Kaiden or any of my friends again. Yay...
But what really bugs me about it is how I actually cared about the impact of my choices with the Krogan and Quarian storylines - I was really bummed that I wasn't able to save Eve because I figured after we beat the reapers, I would get an ending that said things with the Krogan didn't end up that great without her leadership. And now....I find that it doesn't really matter.
Overall, I loved the journey - the game made me cry more than any other story I've watched/read/played. But the ending...let's just say yesterday I was trying to figure out how long I should wait before I played it again, and now I don't feel like I need to as much.

One right at the top. Of course, still just as vague as all the other twitter posts. Really doubt we'll see anything on there, they'll probably come up with some official statement from Bio/EA eventually.

But also...
Are we absolutely certain all possible endings have been discovered? I'm assuming so because of PC data mining, but wanted to see if someone could confirm.
I just can't believe what we've seen so far is it. Bioware has a history of incredible detail with their stories and kept it up through the first 99% of ME3. Heck even the 'oh blue rose' Asari/Krogan couple made a brief apperance in ME3. You don't spend time like that, adding in those small details, if your grand finale has plot holes wide enough fly the Citadel through.
And if for some reason they did run out of time or money - that's not the kind of thing where a manager runs in one day and yells 'Pencil's down everyone!' at the development team and they're all snapping their fingers going 'Aw shucks, guess the ending will suck now'. They would have known about it for at least some time before the
planned release.
And if you do know that, you don't put company folks on record saying things like: "Fans want to make sure that they see things resolved, they want to get some closure, a great ending. I think they’re going to get that."
I think they are screwing with us and it's very, very mean.
Or heck, I don't know, maybe I've moved from angry back into the denial stage.

"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. Because they were holding on to something... There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for."
