So I am not sure who has read thee codex, I am looking at it now. I am not sure if this was mentioned, but it plays right into indoctrination theory.
Codex--->The Reapers--->Indoctrination:This sells me on indoctrination theory, and tells me that the right choice is destroy everything, if that part is even real. I feel pretty strongly about getting a DLC from the point of Shepard's breathing now. Whether or not that sequence actually happened is another question.
- Organics undergoing indoctrination may complain of headaches and buzzing or ringing in their ears. As time passes, they have feelings of "being watched" and hallucinations of "ghostly" presences. Ultimately, the Reaper gains the ability to use the victim's to amplify it's signals, manifesting as "alien" voices in the mind.

With all the evidence piling up, there's got to be something going on that we don't know about. Hopefully we'll have more information soon.
I know. I started coming here because I needed to vent everything that I saw wrong with the ending, and to talk with people feeling the same way. Now that the greivances are all out in the open though, I keep sticking around, agonizing over whether this will be the day they finally say SOMETHING to us.nupfi wrote...
Its a shame they eliminated the replay value for me completely... hope Bioware will respond soon...

So, do you guys really think ea's drop at the stock exchange people are talking about here has to do with the Mass Effect ending? How come? Any evidence for that?
I will not pretend to understand 100% of how the stock market works but this is my opinion based on basic economics.
ME3 is supposed to be the biggest game out of the trilogy, which i would think is intended to be the biggest payoff for Bioware/EA at the moment. As mentioned in an earlier post, normally after a release this big the stocks of the company rises because investors attempt to profit from the huge sales (actual game sales or forecasted from dlcs, toys, etc) which pushes the stock value up. (closest i could think of would be how bungie's stock went up after halo was released)
Now imagine if have invested stock with EA. Days after the release, rumors come up of disgruntled fans about the game. Initially I would put that aside as a minor few who are not completely happy about the final product. Thats normal for any business, what I want is the long term profits. Then the week goes by and come monday, Im reading news about how last week's reaction has increased exponentially. For whatever reason I wouldnt really care aince I'm only interested in my take at the end of the day.
What would give me alarm is the rumors of preorders being cancelled, and product selling below retail. (a quick search on amazon gave me ME3 product for less than 50$). That might convince me enough that something might have gone wrong and think about reinvesting my money elsewhere while it still has value. And I believe thats what 3% of investors just did yesterday

So here I am, 5 days out. I think I'm finally getting the itch to start ME1 again. I kind of want to regain that innocence you get from the naive universe. But still, every time I consider it, I think of how it ends and wonder what the point is. Why can't I drill that out of my head? I know I love ME1. I know I would enjoy playing it. But the ending of a different game is sullying that?
It's so bizarre. I feel a bit embarrassed to be this affected by a video game.

The fact is that everything in the indoctrination part of the codex
adds up and happens at some point in the game. Especially in the final
sequence. The part I posted and bolded was the most convincing for me
though.
