Yes, I think about something similiar.

We should send THIS to that silly contest...

I'd ship that in a heart beat.

I would send that in a heart beat

and using  Steve Jablonsky -  Its our fight  was  a great  choice... one of the best things about the Transformers movie... his music.. its a amazing.

What did you guys think the Crucible was going to be?

I thought it was going to be some sort of EMP that would work on and only target the Reapers.

Same here. Or maybe it's a switcher for reapers, 'cause someone created 'em a long time ago for it's purpose. That was I actually hope for.

I was expecting either of those, but boy was I surprised when aeon summon from Final Fantasy 10 came down from the sky.....

When It was first mentioned in game, I thought that Earth should Crucible, and humanity is the ultimate weapon, created by protheans to end the Reaper threat to galaxy once and for all.

Yes, and to its credit, the expansion made up for a lot of bitterness resulting from vanilla NWN2's "ending".

Interestingly, Mask of the Betrayer also tacked on the "destroy, control, merge" theme (lift the curse, master your power over the curse, or take it into yourself to spare others). Except it was done a lot more skillfully, partially because the buildup to this resolution spanned over the whole game, partially because of plain old good writing.

exactly, those endings all made sense with the story that was presented to us, and they even did epilouges so we see what happend to everyone at the end.

Nope. At the least the ending cutscenes had an actual philosophical overlay to it and made some sense.

DX:HR didn't ask you for your favourite choice of colors.

The Deus Ex ending was fantastic. Well executed and it did not end there either as your character actually survives. It also nicely ties in with the first game.

You can also think about Deus Ex 2 : IW, which also had synthesis, destroy and control.

I thought it was just the macguffin to help push the plot along, get everyone allied and in the same place. I thought it would end up not working, or at least not being wholly effective (maybe it drops the Reapers shields or something that weakens them.) Then I expected the Allied Forces of the Galaxy to realize they could fight the Reapers without it.

This. I honestly thought it would end up doing nothing because it felt too much like a deus ex machina kind of thing, and too convenient. Little did I know that there was actually a DEM inside the DEM :P

I see that Bioware is very original.

Weeell... they CAN... atleast 'till they take a serious financial hit... in wich case, managment would be rearranged.

If they SHOULD ignore us... not if they want to preserve any good reputation they have left. Problem with such a media uproar is: Once it has settled, it will be remembered.

I thought that, then after seeing the 3 endings I thought it was a "Noah's Ark" that would get us the **** out of this bat****-crazy ending
