you know all they would have to do is pull of a max payne 2 type of ending. on easy,normal, and hard you get those endings we curently have.And on isanity you get the ultimate ending ending where everyone does not get a shaft the size of the citadel up their colective behinds.

Because they really thought they created a great ending to the series and it hurts to realise this is not the case.
Thus at least for a few weeks they will deny there is anything wrong with the ending. It's human. :>

I'm gonna put forth an idea that is gonna be unpopular.

The very notion that there is even a snowballs hope in hell of there being free official alt ending is beyond absurd, no matter how many people sign up.

You guys are smart, you all at least have some idea of how the development process works and how meticulously it's planned out.
Does ANYONE here honestly believe they will slow DLC development and compromise other DLC sales by working on an ending which will be a public admittance to people not liking their product in the first place, will take god knows how much money, time and resources and may well require rehiring VA, some of which may already be contracted to other work?

You know why BW hasn't said anything? because people are still out there buying it. I guarantee you a couple weeks from now they will turn round and say 'yeah..no we're not doing that, but thanks for your feed back'

I would rather resist and it be all for naught than give up because of bloody pessimism. Honestly they made Zaeed 'free', they can stomach making the ending fix free, the fact there's at the very least an even split between people defending Bioware and criticizing Bioware OUTSIDE OF BSN shows me that it's not just simply about that. Honestly, I freaking hate how a company think its reputation will be tarnished if it admits there is a problem, you know how well that worked out for BP? Not that freaking well, most companies that do admit there a problem and make amends for it gain positive popularity, those that ignore and ignore and ignore...well yeah, how well did BP's propaganda campaign go? Not well.

• There will be DLC
• DLC is likely planned to be purchased.
• 'Real" ending DLC may (low chance) be free due to the !@#$ storm the community is creating over it.
• If Real ending DLC is going to be made its already in production.

Most recently CCP admitted errors in its approach to the Aurum shop in Eve and they were humble and apologetic and they won back a lot of customer support and faith....I'm not seeing that from Bioware.
