Holy crap. When I woke up 3 hours ago it was only at $1,300.

I love how today, in a week, we'll hit 1000 pages. Not including the hundreds of other pages from the hundreds of other threads (and the fact that virtually every major thread has been hijacked as well because of the endings).

Maybe I got ripped off, I don't remember a hot outfit in ME2. I remember that awful gay space cowboy outfit though.

Well I truly believe that complaining about the ending becuase its "sad*" is ridicolous". Do you demande every movie that oyu dont like the ending to change to. The complaint that they give no information what happens to the characters and the universe I think is an argument. Bioware always did this before, why not now?
Is this a movie? No, it's a video game that from the start Bioware promised us that "Your actions, morale choices, and things you do in ME 1, 2 and 3 leading up till the end will have an impact on how the story ends." They promised us that there would be multiple endings in ME3 that would cater to what we did in the previous two titles. And they said that they WOULD NOT just give us 3 different choices. Which they did...
This is very different from a movie, with a movie we're not the ones controlling it. The director can end it how he chooses because it's their work. Video games more so what Bioware video games are, are stories in which you shape your own destiny. Mass Effect took what they did in Baldur's gate, Kotor, and Dragon Age and upped the effect of your decisions. By giving us the RGB endings that basically end the same way, they lied and stole from us the abillity to shape our Shepards destiny like they promised.
In the first game and second what you did really reflected on the endings, more so the actions in the first leading into the second. however when it came to three our decisions didn't amount to jack in the end. Because some reaper space Child-god ghost wizard said that we only get three choices.
With movies we can't change them because it's not out story, with Mass Effect it was as much our story as it was Biowares. We didn't go down a linear path like most games and quite some RPG's, we were actually able to have multiple outcomes based on our choices. Mass Effect 3 took this away from us in the last 20 minutes of the game.
We're also mad because this sham of a Deus Ex Machina ending left us empty and the story full of plot-holes you could drive a planet through.
After all that I think we have a right to feel like we got cheated, and deserve endings that would suit how all of us played these games.

Ugh, still just mad about the ending.... Casey said every choice would matter and there would be no A,B or C choice for an ending. Well he was right instead we got. red, blue, green....... And i say end cause lets face it there are no multiple endings here just genocide and more genocide....

I got Babylon 5 vibes the moment I talked to the Reaper on Rannoch. I'd assumed they were the Shadows, turns out they believe they're the Vorlons. Wanted a Sheridan ending. "Like giants in a playground. - Now get the hell out of our galaxy!"
Also went and checked some Japanese forums. Unfortunately my Japanese is very rusty (I took Chinese and then branched out... not recommended) and their major issues are:
1: Something about an armor pack that isn't cool/interesting or not what they were promised.
2: Whether or not it will be possible to have a Garrus/Liara/Shepard threesome.
3) Whether or not Vega is a virgin.
I'll check back after launch.
Glad to see the Japanese have discovered the games pressing issues. It will likely be well after lunch that they get destroyed be the endings.wombat_stalker wrote...

In the Kasumi-DLC Shepard gets something like a Smoking from Kasumi, since he is going to investigate on a party of a gansterboss.

Another business view: Who's gonna buy books and merchandise? Some random players, playing because magazins tell the game is great or fans, who want a deeper view in their beloved universe?
