Holy crap. When I woke up 3 hours ago it was only at $1,300.

I love how today, in a week, we'll hit 1000 pages. Not including the hundreds of other pages from the hundreds of other threads (and the fact that virtually every major thread has been hijacked as well because of the endings).

somebody, about 4 days back in another thread was asking about collecting the war assests to get the 'perfect ending'.....

i told him, i don't think you'll like the perfect ending.....

he tells me 'that's irrelevant'

didn't even waste my time....keep playing it bud, you'll figure out that no matter what you do....it's that that's irrelevant...

I just thought of something, in the end it is clear that Shepard's radio is still intact. He hears the com calls that say everyone is dead after the Reaper blasts everyone in the final run. And he is able to talk to Anderson in the Citidel.

Now, the god-child I think says that the Citidel is controlling the Reapers right? Or am I remembering this wrong. But either way, why not just call in the ships and blow the citidel up and thus deactivating the Reapers? Is this correct and another plot hole the ending gives us or am I remembering things wrong?

Ok hold the phone... Where did that badass jacket come from.

I think it is the last option in the Casual slider when you pick your armor.  I have the regular Xbox 360 version, and I had it.  Also imported a Me1->ME2 save, if that had anything to do with it.

In the Kasumi-DLC Shepard gets something like a Smoking from Kasumi, since he is going to investigate on a party of a gansterboss.

You can see it here

Well I truly believe that complaining about the ending becuase its "sad*" is ridicolous". Do you demande every movie that oyu dont like the ending to change to. The complaint that they give no information what happens to the characters and the universe I think is an argument. Bioware always did this before, why not now?

Is this a movie? No, it's a video game that from the start Bioware promised us that "Your actions, morale choices, and things you do in ME 1, 2 and 3 leading up till the end will have an impact on how the story ends." They promised us that there would be multiple endings in ME3 that would cater to what we did in the previous two titles. And they said that they WOULD NOT just give us 3 different choices. Which they did...

This is very different from a movie, with a movie we're not the ones controlling it. The director can end it how he chooses because it's their work. Video games more so what Bioware video games are, are stories in which you shape your own destiny. Mass Effect took what they did in Baldur's gate, Kotor, and Dragon Age and upped the effect of your decisions. By giving us the RGB endings that basically end the same way, they lied and stole from us the abillity to shape our Shepards destiny like they promised.

In the first game and second what you did really reflected on the endings, more so the actions in the first leading into the second. however when it came to three our decisions didn't amount to jack in the end. Because some reaper space Child-god ghost wizard said that we only get three choices.

With movies we can't change them because it's not out story, with Mass Effect it was as much our story as it was Biowares. We didn't go down a linear path like most games and quite some RPG's, we were actually able to have multiple outcomes based on our choices. Mass Effect 3 took this away from us in the last 20 minutes of the game.

We're also mad because this sham of a Deus Ex Machina ending left us empty and the story full of plot-holes you could drive a planet through.

After all that I think we have a right to feel like we got cheated, and deserve endings that would suit how all of us played these games.

/end rant

I edited my post to late. The ending should tell us what happened in the galaxy, which would make all the choices mather. That the choices wouldnt affect what happens to shephard in the end i think is ok. But what his choices led to we deserved to have been told.

To be quite honest, even though it was spoiled, I'd love that ending versus what we have now.

Of course, I'd always hold out for that perfect, happy ending.  I'll stomach multiplayer if I have to, but I'll be damned if I'm not fighting for little blue squid babies and a retirement on Eden Prime!

Ugh, still just mad about the ending.... Casey said every choice would matter and there would be no A,B or C choice for an ending. Well he was right instead we got. red, blue, green....... And i say end cause lets face it there are no multiple endings here just genocide and more genocide....

I think the endings are more like" 1a, 1b, 1c" they are all the same. Same graphics, same outcome - everyone stranded, relays gone, etc...
Seriously what's the point of all these choices when it all boils down to that ending.

I got Babylon 5 vibes the moment I talked to the Reaper on Rannoch. I'd assumed they were the Shadows, turns out they believe they're the Vorlons. Wanted a Sheridan ending. "Like giants in a playground. - Now get the hell out of our galaxy!"

Also went and checked some Japanese forums. Unfortunately my Japanese is very rusty (I took Chinese and then branched out... not recommended) and their major issues are:
1: Something about an armor pack that isn't cool/interesting or not what they were promised.
2: Whether or not it will be possible to have a Garrus/Liara/Shepard threesome.
3) Whether or not Vega is a virgin.

I'll check back after launch.

I love their priorities

Glad to see the Japanese have discovered the games pressing issues. It will likely be well after lunch that they get destroyed be the endings.

I haven't completed the game yet (difficult getting the time to play being a dad) but had to read what was going on. I like everyone else had invested a lot of time and money. When I read what was going on I was disapointed. (to say the least).

I hope they do rectify this. However, i'm afraid to say the only real way we may get them to take notice is to not buy any of their games anymore. But what are the odds that we could all stick together on a promise like that...... hmmm.... i'm guessing little to none.

Ok even if this is shepard being indoctrinated or whatever and the "true" ending is him taking that breath, this still is very sloppy on Biowares end.

If they did this, then they obviously want our money so they can add an ending that they know full well is done, and should have been shipped on the game disk. Making us pay money for the real ending we should have gotten in the first place is ubsurd and just shows they want nothing more than to drain our pockets for more money when they should have given us a full packaged deal from the start. I don't know about you but 64$ plus the 10 i spent for the Prothean is still a big dip in some peoples pockets.

If they really did something like this, I honestly wouldn't buy the DLC cause they shafted me with DA2, and now the ending to ME3. I would and have been rejecting their pitiful excuse for an ending and replacing it with my own. Meaning I will never pay another Dime for a Bioware product again.

I had that leather jacket and I'm on PS3, so I'm sure it's either collector's edition or Kasumi's stuff from ME2.

Also, my friend just finished, and his reaction was "**** me sideways".

Another business view: Who's gonna buy books and merchandise? Some random players, playing because magazins tell the game is great or fans, who want a deeper view in their beloved universe?

Beyond that, Bioware is damaging their brand as whole.  It will have a cascading effect that will be felt in their next major release (DA3) if they stay their current path.  It'll become a new running joke: "Loook, a new Bioware game.  I bet it'll be amazing 95% of way through, and totally come apart at the seems the last 5%."

Regarding the 2.7k (2.9k!), donation to child's play.

I donated, but I don't think we are at a sum that anyone at bioware will look at and say "man, that's a lot of money". Instead, maybe the more important number is next to the word "contributors."

Nothing may come of this, in terms of a tool to demonstrate to Bioware our steadfast resolve, etc. BUT Child's Play is a great charity, so this is a no lose scenario.
