They had a story, they told it. If you don't like how it ends that not Bioware's problem. I don't think they should change the ending for anyone. They should end it however way they want its their story, we're just along for the ride.
You would fit perfectly into their Marketing Department.
Give me a break. I don't have postive or negative feelings about it. The reason I played the game was to see how the story unfolded. I look at the whole thing and it was an enjoyable ride. Whatever plot-lines they took it on is their decision. Doesn't change the fact that these three games comprised one of the most enjoyable video game franchises I've ever played. The plot-line choices were Bioware's, not mine. I didn't design this game, and guess what, neither did you.
Again you'd be perfect for their marketing audience.
No we didn't make the game, but we did get oh I don't know...how about promised that our actions and decisions would reflect in future installments of the games maybe? How what we did in 1 and 2 were going to give us different outcomes. Not just in the end after doing everything possible to fight the reapers, we get told by Space reaper god child wizard Deus Exh machina ghost that we only get three choice that end virtually the same just with the explosion a different colour.

The donation drive is going fairly well...last time I checked it was over $5200 raised for Child's play.

Really? Thats why there's a 900+ page thread and countless other threads and articles in video game sites about the ending...because everyone isn't remembering it?
gaaah, I meant in a couple months from now xD it will just be referred to as something bad but not vividly recounted...

"I should not buy a product, from a company attempting to entertain me and when I am done with said product, I feel like I just had my dog die or something.
The entire franchise/universe is a wonderful, awesome experience and the last 10 minutes makes it all - completely worthless. Nothing you did in the previous games has any effect on the ending. Nothing you do in this game has any effect on the ending."
So, see Bioware? It's not just us!

If we back down now, not only do we have to watch one of our favourite franchises reach its sad and unreasonable ending, but we have to sit there as Bioware, being leant on by their new bosses, look us in the eye as they beat us down. If we give in now, we only show that we are capable of being pushed around, and then we can pretty much expect not just Bioware, but all major companies to push the limit. We back down now, and they win, and if they do, we'll end up with more of this in the future. If we win, however, we prove that our beliefs matter, and we remind companies that they'd be nowhere if not for us, the fans, paying for their efforts and judging them accordingly. We will not go quietly. It's not about just this one problem, it's about sticking up for ourselves while we can, before company control gets out of hand and we lose one of the greatest gaming franchises to date. Let us not remember this as the day we got cold feet and gave in, we will remember this as the time when we stood up for ourselves in the face of failure. It's up to us to save the future of Mass Effect 3 and the future of all Bioware games
Ladies and Gentlemen, Hold the line!

"If you do buy it, stop playing just after you deal with the Illusive man on the Citadel with Anderson, after storming to the beam of light.
Everything after that point will destroy everything you love about the Mass Effect universe, trust me.
800+ page thread over at the BW forums about it, it's just that bad. "

It is not about the way it went. I said multiple times that I think a dark ending like this is also possible, as well as a good ending. But BOTH should be an option depending on every decision the previous games.
As well as it is about HOW it concluded. An "end" has to "end" things, not begin a mass of questions.

I never had that impression with Mass-Effect. I didn't look at it like a huge choose your own adventure book. Thats probably why I'm not disappointed.

This is what I agree with. I had no issue with Shepard dying or a dark ending. There was just so many strange happenings, new introductions, frustrations and just pure bizareness that didn't make sense for the last 10 minutes.
