So...

I live in the "Wonderful City of Rio de Janeiro", Brazil. It is a beautiful city, indeed. A lovely sight for the sore eyes. The beachs, the cheerfull people, etc.

But I looked in the newspaper and everyday there is something about a horrible death. People die, all the time, I know. But is always there. This IS life. And Im tired of real violence, tired of friend and family being murdered. Today a COP killed a driver because ONE ****ing "dollar". The cop shoot the driver 3 times.

So, BW, I think I dont buy for that kind of thing to happen. Ok, I wanna a better one, I wanna closure. But what I DESERVE, what I think I was going to got is my ****ing happy end!

i saw the dollar(real) thing you're talking about =(

Good morning! Still holding :)

The donation drive is going fairly well...last time I checked it was over $5200 raised for Child's play.

Oh, cool! I dindnt know we had a donation drive. I'd love to chip in a little with that, but I don't know if I can do that here on my iTouch. I'll have to comandeer a family member's computer... for the war effort! XD

Just finished leaving my Amazon review and will continue searching for other ways to help.

HOLD THE LINE!

I loved this game, probably the most favourite part out of the trilogy, up until the exact part when the Starchild appeared.
I hope for an ending where when Hackett says that the Crucible isn't firing, it all comes down to your choices and companionswhether or not you can get the Crucible to work (as a super laser or whatever) and whether the Reapers are destroyed, or vice versa.
BioWare put such a tremendous effort into making the Mass Effect universe a believable one - I just don't understand why they threw all that out of the window in the last few minutes.

There is no arguement.  If you read a book and don't like how it ends, do you demand that the author rewrites it?  If you watch a movie and don't like the ending to you demand that they remake it?  The argument is STUPID.

BW is acting exact like we do and have in our own lives which makes me very optimistic. Every single one of us have acted very defensively at some point in our lives and lashed out in anger. Given time each of know we were wrong, first privately inside our own minds, and given time we each acknowledge our fault and make it right. This is exactly where BW finds itself today! Given time, (but in the meantime we MUST HOLD THE LINE) - BW privately knows they messed up terribly - I suspect, like us, they will get around to making it right!

So thinking about the indoctrination theory, the catalyst says that the destroy option will wipe out all synthetics, even Shepard is part synthetic. So shep waking up after that option leads me to think that the catalyst saying that is a last ditch effort to dissuade him from destroying the reapers which strengthens the indoctrination theory. If I had to die to save the galaxy, and I spent a lot of time getting to know edi and saving the geth I wouldn't choose to destroy them. So if all options lead to my death that one would be out ( though I chose that one because it seemed like the only one shep had a chance to survive).

Seriously get a grip. Its a frikken GAME. Whaaaa they didn't end it the way I want to...waaaaa! Here's a tissue...go get some sun.

again you fail to see the point that even if it is a game, it's a 64+ dollar investment where we want our monies worth. When we invest hours upon hours of time into something (whether it be games, music, hobbies, whatever) we expect the outcome to make sense. With entertainment media we expect the ending to make sense, and to conclude it. Mass effect did not do this, we wanted all lose ends tied up and for our characters decisions to justify the end. If Shepard dies then at least let it be in a blaze of glory, not some ill attempt to make sheppard break characters and suicide just to doom the galaxy again.

You're being very close minded and typical about it. We beat your argument now you insult us by saying we need sunlight and whatnot. A lot of us have lives thankyou very much, but our social standings are not part of the problem here. And your ill attempt to insult us by doing so is very childish and unamusing. get out.

There is no arguement.  If you read a book and don't like how it ends, do you demand that the author rewrites it?  If you watch a movie and don't like the ending to you demand that they remake it?  The argument is STUPID.

Now you completely miss the point. Video games are a form of entertainment that differes from your movies and books. While they achieve the same effect in the end they all go about it differently.

Books and Movies aren't intereactive, it's a form of media that we watch or read and if we don't like it, then well tough, we just go on and forget about it. with that it's the writers or directors decision. but with Video games it differes there. It's not just about the writers, they have to take into account that this is an interactive journey where we make the decisions that forms the the foundations for the future sequels. This is an RPG: ROLE PLAYING GAME. Not only that it's an RPG where you get to shape how the worlds are, who lives, who dies, what gets destroyed, what doesn't, etc.

We're mad because we got promised multiple endings that take into account what our action in one and two where. This did not happen, instead we got a sham of a deus ex machina ending mixed with a sad excuse for a child's story that is told by an old man who remembers the sexy time shepard has.

we're not asking for a remake, we're asking for new endings that make our choices matter, and to somehow clear up what the 3 endings mean.

Get a better argument other than "oh if you didn't like a book, or movie you wouldn't tell the creators to remake it right?" Because this is not a book or a movie. It's a video game, one in which we assumed direct control of Shepard and made the tough choices.

Today I was like...  "I Have NO faith in humanity anymore... :crying:"

Then, I came again to see the things about the end and stuff and found about Childs Play. I took a deep breath, restored a little of my faith and donate.

But, anyway, I wanna my happy ending. I wanna my Arkadia with Kaidan.

Haha, that's where I'm from.
Except I now live in the US ;)

and yeah, if I wanted a half a** ending, I would have just watched some of those movies on Scifi (nothing against the channel, just half of their movies end without a closure or explanation)

Because the beam comes from an explosion? The part with the two who are with you on earth must clearly be a stupid mistake, but its not like that is the big problem with the ending.  You are requesting in a tone that makes it sound as if its your right to have, and bioware is evil for not giving a "happy".

PS: im not sure if you have been one of the people demanding a happy ending, but since you answered my first post im guessing you are on of them ;)

Again, requesting, not demanding.

An explosion, uhu. But we actually see the energy flow through the streets of London without having a destructive effect on anything. They also didn't destroy the mass relays. And just nothing else, except for the Normandy.

And yes, I would personally really like to get the chance for a happy ending, but everyone who's against me makes it look like I want every ending to be sunshine. That's not true.
And BioWare is also not "evil" (unless it was intended to earn them more money by selling alternative ending DLCs).

As people already mentioned, there were free DLCs for ME2 which required a lot more effort to make than adding/altering the ending cinematics now.

Worst part of this is how damn good the rest of the game was, and how quickly it was destroyed.
