A -> You lose
B -> You lose completely
C -> You win, but shepard and team lose
Control ending - you become the new ruler of the reapers
Merge ending - you lenslave the entire Galaxy and become slaves to the reapers . exactly what Saren wanted in ME 1 .
Destroy - you destroy the reapers

I'm in the acceptance stage, I am still pissed off but I feel like there's nothing we can do and BioWare won't change anything so I might aswell just accept that the ending to the trilogy isn't that good and that ME1 and 2 was a big waste of timeratzerman wrote...
So what stage is everyone in? I thought I was in anger, but by asking for a DLC ending, I guess I'm in bargaining. But I'm still angry.
Maybe the Kubler-Ross model doesn't work with videogames.

I'm with you 100%. After putting up with Infamous 2, FF13-2, and Dances with Dragons this year, I need something at least remotely uplifting. I mean... the most uplifting game I've played in months was Deadily Premonition... Bleh.
Give me a break and let me have a bittersweet ending, Bioshock! Even the "perfect" ending sounds just plain bitter.
At least my Nord hero defeated Alduin and got to live happily with his wife in Solitude, Bethsda know how to give good endings: leave it all up to the players imagination.
Remember the reaction to FO3's ending? It was bittersweet and you weren't forced to do it anytime soon, but there was a massive uproar.
It's the same, except you are railroaded toward the end and it is just bitter.

Was personally hoping for shirtless Garrus because I'm a weirdo, not that I think male shirtlessness counts as nudity. But I've done every romance and I was also hoping for something saucier for fans of all romances. No blue butts?
EDIT: Also, the space edition guy said the Samantha romance scene was dirty!

At least if they crashlanded on Earth we could headcanon something provided Shepard survives.

Oh I be dammed Fallout 3's Ending was just as bad . Fallout fans all but forced Zenimax to make a ending replacement dlc for that game . So it can be changed we just have to hammer Bioware about their bull sh

I thought at least a shirtless Garrus or Kaidan would take my mind off the crappy inevitable ending of Kaidan screwing one of my crew or Garrus starving to death.

Read up a few posts; this is much worse. You didn't have to do the ending at all, and it was bittersweet.

And the person who has been leaking info has said that the sex scenes are ME 1 style? As I believe was mentioned in this thread or another one.
As it hasn't been stated in the quoted post, that was from the BBC certification and it clashes with what the leak has said.
Edit: Quote and the link

Yeah i played through ME1 11 times if i remember corectly and ME 2 7 times or something, I think its weird that you can get a happy ending in both of these games and in LOTSB it felt like BioWare hinted that there would be a happy ending but instead they do this. all of these endings don't feel like Mass Effect to me.Unit-Alpha wrote...

Not wanting all of our Squadmates to end up alone and isolated in the middle of nowhere (and potentially starve) = wanting a Dating Sim?
Yes, we can't have a fairy tale disney ending were millions are killed and several alien races are all but extinguished, but most of the Normandy crew and Shepard survive, and help rebuild. Life's not all sprinkles and gumdrops.
War is hell, and any ending that doesn't involve Shepard crying alone in the dark, while listening to Fall Out Boy and cutting himself, is a bad ending!

Well, I know what I did as soon as I cancelled my ME3 preorder: preordered Bioshock.
Bioshock 2 is how to have a bittersweet ending, regardless of what you thought of the game. It was touching and powerful, without being depressing.
Lol, I meant to type "Bioware" but... you know... early morning. My brain still isn't functioning normally.
Playing Bioshock Inifinite until the Happy Ending DLC comes out doesn't seem like a terrible idea though.
Bioshock 1 had one of the best bittersweet endings I've seen in a game, despite it being extremely short.

frankly no one gives a crap about sex . when the only real romance in this game is if you banged the ones from ME 1 any way . your LI is not with you at the end so it does not matter and plus you never see her again
