In the Arrival DLC, Shepard fights waves of 'indoctrinated' soldiers near the Reaper Artifact, and at the end of the fight you get a cutscene of Shepard seeing Amanda Kenson with glowing yellow eyes, similar to when Harbinger controls a Collector.
Wouldn't it be possible that Shepard might have been indoctrinated at that point? Sure it was 6 months before the beginning of ME3, but Shepard does have insane amounts of willpower.
I dunno... It just felt nice to write... Doesnt change the outcome, but still...

I agree very good article.
It's funny when people say don't like it don't buy it, but how can we know if we like it unless we play it? And how can we know it's disappointing if all the "critics" don't say anything about it.

That ending, while more varied, STILL doesn't provide closure and completely ignores the Dark Energy foreshadowing from ME2. I don't think i'd be very happy with that ending, either.
It misses the dark energy time travel aspect too that was in the codex you got from Conrad Verner. I went into the ending expecting Shepard to get blasted x/y/z thousand/million years into the past.

I honestly believe we should entrust someone to twitter the mass effect people and apologize for any harsh or immature treatment on our end. This is a frustrating time, but we need to be courteous to the people responsible for bringing us such an amazing game in the first place.
My thoughts exactly, thank you and Alamandorious for agreeing!
Now, is there anyone who would be interested in this?
heh. I already stated i know myself to be a reactionary and not a good fit fort the task. But at least i can be honest about it. Yes please, we need a spokes-person

Blagh i'm just upset with the whole thing!
The indoctrination theory people and their cult like ways of explaining to me that I just don't understand the endings..that they will show me the epic story-writing light that is Bioware.
Arguments from others claiming me to be an entitled gamer brat, that wants a new ending because it wasn't "Disney" enough
And Bioware saying nothing!
I just..can't....
(Just finished the game btw)
The "hallucination theory people" are just trying to find a way for Bioware to have not royally screwed up the ending. They actually have some valid points to because there is evidence that something is wrong at the end. I myself ascribe to the ID/dream/hallucination theory simply because I can't beleive that the same writers who brought the genophage cure to a close with Mordin's scene wrote that last 5 minutes to be the real end.
This theory helps me a lot to deal with the ending.

I agree. I spent a lot of time lurking in the "hallucination theory" thread before coming in here. At least it's something to give people hope, which is a lot better than what we've gotten so far out of this mess.

Some are, but like Commander Shepard said in ME1... you can't control what other people do, but you can control how you react to it. Just keep being yourself and staying respectful. The people at BioWare are smart, they won't paint all their fans with one broad brush stroke.
