Nice juxtaposition, well done whoever did that.

I must of had tunnel vision at the end because all I saw was B

Did anyone else do this:

First time i was there, i got giant orange THE CRUCIBLE HAS BEEN DESTROYED like a Raid Warning, then the "yer dead, Jim" music and fade to black.  Resume, at the top again to make the choice.

Why?  After the theme was stated SEVERAL TIMES in the last sequences that "there's always another way," i rejected the choices of the Child God and stumbled around the platforms looking for another option, another choice, anything.  Apparently if you wait too long to make the ABC choice, you just lose.  Not even an ending sequence... which seems pointless, since you just reload from the exact same point.  /scratchhead

Ironically Kirahe didn't get to hold the line, he wasn't even in the last battle despite promising to be.

Have not yet read through the thousand pages of this but I do feel tons better that my hysterical nerd rage wasn't completely out of the blue. Finishing the game around 4 am last Friday (well Saturday really) I was already fried mentally and the endings didn't help. Some of you had more sense than I did; I almost snapped the disc in half when I saw that. The little DLC message too was just a kick in the quad.

Was doing a second playthrough yesterday with the intent to stop at the FOB on Hardcore and realized that I just didn't care anymore. Switched over to narrative difficulty, saw the last cutscenes I wanted to and contemplated putting my collecter's edition on ebay. Pretty sure when my N7 hoodie gets here I'm going to give it away. I never thought in a million years this would be the let down it was. Not even mad anymore, just sad.

thats an understatement and using there speeches against them which must be a massive shot in the foot for them

They should also be proud that we know these quotes, and know why we are upset.

Alright new ending for Return of the Jedi. Luke is on the Death Star and encounters a ghost child who apparently lives in the Death Star's computer and actually controls the Sith. The Emperor obeys him.  Apparently the Sith's mission all along was to kill the Jedi, in order to prevent Jedi from turning into Sith who will then kill Jedi.

The ghost child given him 3 choices.  All fueled by powerful space magic.

1) Luke can take control of the Death Star and fly it far away, but it will kill him.
2) Luke can destroy it but if he does he will send the Galaxy into a technological dark age.
3) Luke can turn everyone into a half Jedi half Sith hybrid person. Ending the age old war. This will also kill him.

Under all 3 endings his friends are permanently stuck on Endor and he will never see them again. Chewy will starve to death because he can't eat the same food as normal people.

Everyone loves this right?!?

This. So much this. Can I use this to explain the ending to all my non-Mass Effect playing friends so they understand what I'm talking about?

Same here, after playing all night till 8 am, I didn't have an ability to see past giant glowing beam of light. Oh, disappointment from Kaidan with green cyber eyes...

Does any one think that BioWare will address the issue properly and how soon as at the moment it just seems like there in a "everything will be fine" bubble.

I gota add my 2 cents.

The fact that none of your choices seemed
to matter at the end were a complete afront, a slap in the face to
everything we had hoped for.

For those with paragon track record
since me1. We Cured the genophage, we brought turians and krogans
together, we saved wrex. They learned from the overppopulation mistake.

the
Catalyst explains synthethics and organics cannot coexist. Yet hours
before didn't O just end a 300 year old war?. What was the point of
bringing the entire civilization to bear on the reapers. What was the
point of my 47 hours and 13 minutes of play for?

I do not deny,
the entire 47 hours and 10 minutes were amazing. packed with excitement
and heart breaking moments. What was the Romances for? why did I even
recruit Aria in the first place. Terminus fleets are never seen, we
never even take back omega.

The ending is so bad... is not
maddening. Is not anger I feel but complete disbelief as if this whole
thing was but a joke and the true ending is in there somewhere. This
ending feels literally like the Sopranos but 10 times worse. Leaving a
void, an empty sensation to everything that was done so far in the
series.

The feeling of accomplishment, or as Garrus put "it all
comes full circle" isn't there. The feeling of success and relief that
peace was established because of all your hard work, and that you can
look at your friends with a smile knowing they made it out... Where is
that? What was the point?

To name a few:
-What was the point of getting Aria's Pirate bands?
-Where is the STG group?
-Where is Samara at the ending...

I could go on... but basically the only ones at the end were in a holographic interface?...

As soon as we enter the Sol Systenm my adrenaline was through the roof... you draged me to heaven the told me it was a joke and let me plummet right back down...

The last 3 minutes of Mass Effect 3
practically told you the last two games were a complete waste of time if
nothing else. Feels like the entire series was written by the same guy
except at the last 3 minutes he went for a pee break and his pre school
niece wrote the last part.

A bad ending is something you get
angry about and is hard to imagine a different one. A good ending is
someone everyone rejoices. a Mediocre ending is something people forget.
But there is a 4th that is seldom seen... and apparently Bioware for
some crazy reason pulled it off here. The empty ending. No resolution,
no reward, no afterthoughts ... empty. Leaving to the reader or the
viewer an backward sensation that the entire time they've spent
following that story was nothing but a waste of time...

However
the last 3 minutes of ME3 have left a void that I dont believe Bioware
can do **** about. So good luck in whatever project you take up in the
future. Because I surely wont be buying any of them.

I think this is our winner, seems like as some stage they decided to change it/cut it/ran out of time.

They then released what they had.

Got to say would of been happy/over the moon with this fleshed out in full CGI bioware glory
